Tekken: Dark Resurrection Online to cost $10

Jun 21st 2007 2:11PM (Joystiq Playstation)
Hmmm. All the features of Xbox Live except less integration and $10 per title. PSN doesn't seem so free anymore.

What'll Bungie do after Halo?

WiiOn360,

Did Bill Gates kill your dog? You don't like MS/Xbox. Fine, we get that. Now move along. Stop torturing us with your rambling missives.

Comcast deals "massive damage" to giant enemy crab advertisement

Sep 7th 2006 1:27PM (Joystiq)
Comcast pretty much sucks, so when they feel that they can poke fun at you, you should know you're in deep trouble.

Okay, so while probably not a direct "poke" at Sony, whoever put this Photoshop together definitely used the long running "eneny crab" joke as a reference. Or perhaps its a tribute to Ray Harryhausen...

BTW, those rifle guys are aiming right at the crab's weak point.

Metareview - Saints Row (Xbox 360)

I'm sick of the "ripped off GTA" thing. GTA is a great series which created a new genre. Period. Do writers prattle on and on about Doom 'clones' anymore?

Current top 10 Xbox 360 game rankings

I really like my 360. Demos and Live are great. Games have been solid, if not spectacular. I can't figure out why developers can't seem to get the online matchmaking in any current game to work nearly as well as Halo 2 did two years ago. The party system is genious but no one can seem to follow up. Am I missing something?

E3 boosts Xbox Live Marketplace downloads

May 18th 2006 11:22PM (Joystiq)
The MS press release states that users downloaded 600 terabytes of data during E3. I think that servers is where our $50 is going, and I'm glad to pay it. Can't wait to see how Sony's free (?) service compares.

As for "Bringing it home". Lost Planet demo was definitely the best of show. Can't believe it'll be like a year until that game comes out..it's pretty damn good already.

Xbox 360 impressions: Lost Planet: Extreme Condition

May 12th 2006 9:54AM (Joystiq)
I never would have given this game a second thought, but after playing through only the first half of the demo on Live, this is a definite must-buy for me. The grappling hook is a lot of fun. The enemy AI could use a boost, but besides that, this game is ready to fly.

Halo 3 trailer: See it again for the first time

I think Andyc has it right: wreckage from the bridge into the city of New Mombasa.
