well, i just saw this sign a few days ago coming over the Walt Whitman bridge. never noticed it before (i go over that bridge like twice a month). i guess philly has two of the telis then? god knows we need it.
quite simple. they sent a permission form. which a parent has to sign. why are they involved? it told the parents what game was being played. good parents would ask about it or research the game. maybe me expecting parents to do that is imposing my view on other people. however, thats what the NIMF is doing as well. so if i'm right, the NIMF is right, but irrelevant.
@5 nah. i was younger then. haha. i bought a 360 because i didn't like sony systems much (i eventually bought an xbox) and figured i'd eventually get one for halo 3 anyway.
"For all we know at this point, Logitech made the right bet."
Right. Logitech made the right bet by including a feature no ps3 uses, one of which (while likely) hasnt been offically confirmed. It would have been smart to include both rumble and motion. It's kinda like leaving d-pad off an N64. Sure, you may not have used it much, but its still an important component thats missing.
"Also, comparing the price to GH1 is not nearly fair, since you're getting those songs in an updated interface with vastly superior graphics and hammer on/pull off systems as well as the entire new set of co-op charts, so you're not just paying for the same stuff you'd get from buying GH1."
for one, the interface is already there. the 'vastly superior' graphics, etc. the only difference between the songs already there is the sound of the music and the placement of the 'notes'. and honestly, if this song pack is sooooo hard to make (thus requiring a large user costs to download it), why did it come out so fast? hell, we're probably gonna get another pack next week.
either way, the customer is being screwed. its not like the covers are good anyway. a censored 'killing in the name of'? a god awful 'Freebird'? ring a bell?
