PodWorks now works with your iPhone

Sep 4th 2007 4:14PM (TUAW.com)
Why would you bother with spending $8 on this when you can just use Senuti for free? It does the exact same thing. This is barely news worthy, apps for copying from iPod to Mac have been around forever and iPhone implementation was inevitable.

When he kicked the guy into the pit after telling him what country he was in. I pretended it was the Sarlaac :)

Customize your iPhone's background

Jul 21st 2007 10:39PM (TUAW.com)
Busy/colourful backgrounds to menus like this one are rife in custom themes for Series 60 devices, and I HATE them. Just makes it difficult to read the text or see the icons properly, and generally makes the whole thing rubbish. People just fuck up the design.

Sony E3 invite hints at Killzone 2 unveiling

Jun 25th 2007 9:15PM (Joystiq)
Oh shit dude, you mean they could wait till TGS07 to show Killzone 2? Shit yeah, genius idea. Quick, round up all the other western FPS titles so we can show them at TGS as well, god forbid you would want to exhibit games aimed at the Japanese market at the TOKYO games show.

Yes the double post was absolutely necessary ¬_¬

Sony E3 invite hints at Killzone 2 unveiling

Jun 25th 2007 9:12PM (Joystiq)
'THIS' is the game of E3? Yeah man, I mean normally 'the game of E3' isn't the probably completely derivative sequel to a lacklustre FPS that wasn't very good in the first place but, yknow, whatever, I guess they're doing things differently this year.

Ralph Lauren unveils "touch-sensitive window shopping" in London

Jun 23rd 2007 11:20AM (Engadget)
$75 for a polo? Heh, they're $110 or £55 in the London store!

This is a pretty cool idea, I'll definitely go try it out next time I'm there; the reason you have to confirm payment via phone is because we don't have a Ralph Lauren online store in this country though, rather than anything else.

O2 spins out the "Cocoon"

Jun 17th 2007 3:33PM (Engadget Mobile)
The '$590' price quoted for this phone is immaterial, since this phone will be free on reasonably priced 12 and 18 month contracts anyway, like 99% of phones released in the UK.

We hardly ever pay for our handsets, unlike in America. As a side note, if the iPhone is released here for £300/$600 with a 2 year contract attached, it will crash and burn.

Chasing pellets: Pac-Man tries to make history again

Name a game other than Pac-Man by Iwantani?!

Libble Rabble, you fools! Libble Rabble!

CE-Oh no he didn't! Part XXIX - Apple sez free phones are worthless

Mar 1st 2007 7:18PM (Engadget)
In the UK you can pretty much any phone except the most high end PDAs for free when you take a 12 or 18 month plan. Everything from the Samsung D900 to the Nokia N73 to the Sony Ericsson K800i. In fact, we don't even have 24 month contracts.

I have a Nokia N93, it cost me $60 for a $60 a month contract. If Apple try and sell the iPhone here for $600 on a 24 month contract they will fail MISERABLY.
