Yet another attempt at defeating piracy which will fail miserably. Everyone's going to have to buy new players? Yeah, right, that'll work.

Well, the 'It's showtime' title and searchlights give it away really, don't they? It's absolutely certain now that we'll see the movie store unveiled. Just for the US though, no doubt.

It's true. In the UK (I don't know about us being the second largest consumer of iPods, but whatever), there's virtually zero content in the 'Video' section of the iTMS. It's insane.

Plus, who the hell would want to watch Passions on their iPod? It's AWFUL! o_O

Those of you are saying 'Halo 3 will require the HD-DVD drive' or that the 360 will be 'content starved' without games stored on HD-DVDs clearly have no clue about the capacities required for modern games. A game has not yet exceeded 9GB on disc. Frankly, if Oblivion, with all its high definition textures, thousands of voice files and miles of rendered scenery can be fit onto a DVD9, then damn well anything can at 720p or 1080i/p.

Blu-Ray is NOT required for games. It'll merely drive the price of manufacturing them up with very little gain. If we're really lucky, we'll see more 'extras' like developer diaries and so on and so forth on the disc, but I doubt even that in all honesty.

This seems like kind of a waste of money when turning on zooming in System Preferences then hitting Option, Command, +/- lets you zoom in and out without stumping up ten bucks.

How much time would we be expected to devote to doing this?

You guys in the States complain about these prices, but the fact is that in the UK the PS2 launched at what is now the equivalent of $600, and Xbox 360 games sell here for the equivalent of $100 each.

So hell, if anyone can bitch it's the English.
