I agree with you. I think they made this change because you are going to see a lot of GUI elements start to move to the marble look.

It was actually very smart of them to announce this on a holiday when the market is closed, they would have taken a bigger beating.

When first announced, Loren stated that Twitter only bought the rights to the iOS Tweetie, not the mac counterpart. At this point though, it would make sense to align the platforms and buy Tweetie for mac as well. Loren has been very quiet lately, so I would assume that this is the true Tweetie 2 for mac launching tomorrow.

I was one of the MacHeist users who bought the bundle for early access to Tweetie 2, but I saw it as a bonus to the bundle. I know if this is really Tweetie 2 launching tomorrow as Twitter for mac, there will be a bunch of winy people complaining about it.

This is a common bug. Reboot your device and the icon should appear on your springboard.

You guys really jumped the gun on this one..minutes before the dev himself says on twitter that Apple is about to approve the app..hah..

that's just horrid..stick with the original.

I'm holding off on this until there is a jailbreak. Since Pod2G just announced he found an exploit, it won't be long before release..
