Mar 29th 2012 11:12PM (Joystiq)While the stats are interesting, looking at the big picture nothing actaully new happened. Think of kickstarter as a re-seller of products (like amazon) and double fine as a high profile creator of products who decided to take advantage of the service (kinda like EA putting their games on GOG.com) - this attracts more customers to the service, and those customers in turn start using it more by "buying" other products, and of course most other products will be in the same category as the one that attracted them originally.
Still, it's a good service, and it's great to see it getting more exposure.
SimCity requires internet connection to play, will be sold outside of Origin

Mar 8th 2012 8:26PM (Joystiq)@Daverator I hope in addition to non-combat land units (which I agree is the most likely change they're talking about), they extend it to naval units as well. I always thought it should be possible to stack transport vessels with combat ones.
