I bought this and it does not work properly with GH II. Here's the comment I left on Gamestop's website:
"This product does NOT work correctly with Guitar Hero II, even though it claims to. I got my guitar to work, but there is a noticeable lag between when I strum and when the system registers a hit...BIG PROBLEM! Also, as noted in the instruction manual, Star Power can only be activated by pressing "Select" and not by titling the guitar and hammer ons and pull offs do not work. At all. Lack of tilt does not bother me. But no hammer ons or pull offs??? Those are essential to playing the game. As others have mentioned, save your money and wait until GH III comes out."
