Mar 5th 2011 7:47AM (Joystiq)Have of the wii mote is line of sight infra red tech so its hard to have something pointing at the screen taped on your legs or feet(tho I think basic movement is not on the IR pipe if so it may well be a better option than the balance board). The balance board may be useable if it can sense 3 or 4 individual foot placements, but for max demo penetration going with just a normal wiimote and chuck will do.
The again you could setup control in 3 ways, like a normal X perspective shooter, hands on/cockpit mode and mech pilot mode useing 2 wii motes and chucks.

Moving down you have 2 options with one hand on one side its emergency fire control/cool down the other side drop arms/pods for faster speed for escape purposes.

Anyway its a shame they don't make games for gamers anymore.... just cheap stuff for public consumption...

Mar 4th 2011 7:46PM (Joystiq)I would imagine your in a cockpit looking through the eyes of the polite, you move one the left hand up or down or left ad the right hand up down or right. You can lock your hands to a location by pressing a button.
UP plus buttons and or the Dpad and or the analog sticks toggles buttons, ect these are for start up, emergency repair, configuration changes and so on.
In the middle is where you control the mech, by pressing a certain button you can go to 3rd person mode or a 1rst person mode.
You control the mech somewhat normally but I imagine a small lag between the pilots movement and what the mech dose.
Moving down you have 2 options with one hand on one side its emergency fire/cool down the other side drop arms/pods for faster speed for escape purposes.
Both down is seat ejection from the mech.

Mar 4th 2011 7:29PM (Joystiq)Good question. Before I answer it its obvious that for most people one console is fine, for some 2 will do. And there are people who can have it all and some them can even do it on a budget. LOL
Now on to the question, if you have a 2 core CPU above 2Ghz and 2GB of ram with XP or higher you can play most games at medium settings. Of corse you are going to have to understand how video cards work, do some research on whats the fastest(toms hardware vga chart is a good place to see how various cards relate to each other ) .
Suffice to say you get a 100$ or under card you are going to have to replace it in 5 years like not being able to play Xbox 2.0 games on the 360 the up side unlike consoles you can always run older games with a few scant expectations.
