I can only imagine Jonathan Ive taking over.

Watching those introduction videos of the first iPod, PowerBooks... etc (Anyway, do they have such videos anymore for Apple's newer products?), I think Jonathan Ive has lots of passion for design, and I think he verbalizes them quite well. He'd make a good speaker, thought not necessarily the businessman for Apple.

Well, he could be the speaker for product launches and keynotes, while some business guy takes care of the business side. That'll be pretty plausible, right?

I think Jonathan Ive is a fitting successor. In my opinion he's charismatic and I think the way he speaks shows a lot of his enthusiasm for the products that he designed. Well, judging from those product promo vids that is.

I see no better successor, and I think he'd take over Jobs.
