Miyamoto's comment was kind of an ass thing to say, but there was no lie in it. There is nothing revolutionary about Halo, they just happened to release at the right time to the right audience, and now that fan-base is going ape-shit over Halo 3. The story is the only thing unique, and lets face it, that isn't that good either.
