I've always used this feature. It's an awesome thing to have, and often I forget which games are coming out each week. Then in the middle of another game, I see it has downloaded and might go play that.
I'm annoyed I didnt get to add all the XBLA games to my gamercard before they made that switch last year. Grr. That should be an option too.
Gold Star in RB requires 1.72x the score for 5*. There's a big table on the big RB forums about the gold star, and how some tracks you cant get Gold Star on because the max score is just below this 1.72x threshold :S
4:20: North America release for Tales of Vesperia will be in August some time. Europe will be in 2009. Asia outside of Japan will be some time this summer. They explain that this is a first for the series -- a near simultaneous launch.
That's 2009 for Europe. Ah, another JRPG 'lets take 8 monthsto translate it for Europe even though people in the UK could have the US version'. Square-Enix used to do this, now it's Namco-Bandai's turn? Pah. Import time methinks.
You can use your PC account (say one you created in 2002) on your 360. So if you already had level 75 character(s), you can talk to the relevant NPC to get the achievement. I'll be playing this game once I get time for a MMORPG, mainly playing it on PC (for the sake of controls) then going to the 360 when required.
The armoured guys needed to be shot from behind - that's how the whole 'Army of TWO' system was supposed to work. One guy gets the attention of the baddies, then you shoot their arse to get a kill. Either that or knock them down with the sniper rifle, then shoot their body.
I personally just went through the game last week, found it quite good in the end. Story was a good length, graphics were good, controls were ok. Multiplayer was not bad. Overall a good addition to the FPS genre, but not one of the highlights.
Loved the first video, love the second video. I'm a big JRPG fan, so I'm hoping this outing by Square-Enix without Hironobu Sakaguchi and Nobuo Uematsu (of Final Fantasy fame, who are both at Mistwalker now). I'll get even if it comes out on 60 discs.
The graphics here doesn't even compare to the PS2 - one of the reasons why I havent gone back to the PS2 to finish FFXII, FF7:DC and Star Ocean. I'm more tied up with the JRPGs on the 360 - Blue Dragon (now 1000GS), Lost Odyssey (3rd disc) and Eternal Sonata (barely started).
You can clearly see that the video is dubbed over. Personally I prefer my anime subbed and my JRPGs dubbed. Lost Odyssey set a new frontier in Lip Synching in the English version (or at least with my Asian import which had English as an option), so lets hope they see the competition and adapt - so many developers can be oblivious to the other competition and fail at the new standards.
So, September 2nd for the US? I guess thats what, February 21st 2009 for Europe? Square-Enix from the FF series are notorious for pushing release dates further and further back, especially for Europe (damned so many languages to sort out), so looks like I'll be importing this one.
