@DJMaxxi Absolutely, I was expecting it to be lame when it began, but it made me laugh several times. It was definitely a cool and appropriate interlude.
By the way, EVO was flat out awesome this year. This was my first time watching live, but it certainly won't be the last.
Seriously though, awesome competition. I missed Tekken, which everyone said was lame, but MK, MvC, and SSF4 were all nailbiters the whole way through. I'm a little letdown that Daigo or Latif didn't win SF, or that PR Balrog didn't take MvC, but what can you do. Well done Fuudo.
@brettjr25 I concur, the battle system in XIII was downright delicious. It was exciting, fast, and allowed for a really unique sort of strategic flexibility. I spent hours fighting enemies that were too tough for my level, to see if I could exploit them and bring them to their knees. I'd just stop progressing and get caught up in a fight. It was plain fun.
Awesome, this might come in handy with my mother. Now if only someone can make an effective Android app for the visually impaired that goes for less than $99. That price isn't an exaggeration either btw....
@Reapers In the meantime though, they haven't budged on the Bionic Commando Re-Armed 2 DRM that kept PS3 users from being able to play the game they bought that was sitting on their HDD for 3 weeks.
This is definitely a step in the right direction, I'm just still annoyed with them over the first offense. I'm still not buying any of their products for a while, just to make sure they aren't going to try to be cute and sneak something into another title they think they might be able to get away with it in. It's sad that it's come to this.
@TCman They did it to the PS3 with Final Fight, and Bionic Commando: Re-Armed 2. I don't know what their basis is there, maybe it was a test run? Either way, I'm sick of them.
And things won't get better until they get to crackin with Beyond Good & Evil 2.
I highly doubt that's actually the case, that's just the only thing I want to hear about from Ubi right now. Not their woes, or info on the latest yearly installment of Assassin's Creed. The more they sit on it (BGE2) the more awareness and buzz will fade. Show some faith in the title, stop acting so scared!
