Not sure if you read the posts (up) about the "bundle bands," but Best Buy is known for deliberately lying to their customers in order to make more money this way. I should know. I used to work there.

Dec 29th 2008 2:04PM (Joystiq)If we're going to use actual RPG elements, look at tabletop games like D&D and GURPS (the system in which Fallout was originally using). People seem to forget that pencil-and-paper games were the foundation that started the digital RPG in the first place, but instead, if the game doesn't feature a Cloud-like character or isn't made by Blizzard, it's not an RPG. Those who don't view Fallout as an RPG have completely missed the entire point of the game.
Valve may show Half-Life 2: Episode Three this year; release still a ways off
Oct 15th 2008 2:10AM (Joystiq)I'd rather wait a while for a quality game than spend $150 on essentially one game within a three-year time span, plus waiting another year for D3, AND having to pay for Battle.net.
Valve is pretty much the only untainted source for quality gaming out there. The Valve catalog has been keeping me busy in between releases and will continue to do so.
