Um, I don't really think including Turn-On is unfair, even if only one episode aired.

Nine reasons why Ryan is a villain (or, how not to be the office d-bag)

Oct 9th 2007 12:04PM (AOL TV)
I couldn't agree more about #9. He got promoted, yet he NEVER made a sale while he was working in the Scranton branch. I think his undeserved sense of accomplishment due to failing upwards is definitely a reason why he's now a full-fledged D-bag [insert link to Wikipedia page on Jeff Zucker here].

Great list, by the way!

Tripp Darling's diary

Thanks for the transcription, Kristin! Although it doesn't mean much, I was curious to see what it was about since I couldn't understand most of Tripp's writing.

Moonlight: No Such Thing as Vampires (series premiere)

Oct 1st 2007 12:11AM (AOL TV)
I tuned in with really, really low expectations, and Moonlight somehow did not even meet them. Not by a long shot. For all its bad clichéd writing and even worse casting, this would be more fit as a bad movie that I wouldn't even watch on basic cable.

OTOH, Jason Dohring was great and deserves much more than this crap.

One last thing about the Emmy Awards ...

WHAT?!? Kelsey Grammer screws Patricia Heaton on that new sitcom of theirs? Shocking!!!

Amazing. I watched the Emmys in Brazil, and when I first read about the Sally Field controversy (there's a phrase I never thought I'd say), I vaguely remember her "goddamn" speech not getting bleeped out in the international feed, and now I'm 100% sure they didn't, because I definitely heard Ray's routine in its entirety. I just find it curious that any other kind of programming (dramas, sitcoms) does not get to our networks in uncut, uncensored fashion. We always get the "TV cut."

I love Sally Field in Brothers & Sisters, and not only was I glad to see she got her due, I also thought her heartfelt speech was the highlight of the night.
