Gitaroo Man Lives again, port headed to North America

>> "Love the name, and must I say, your masterful use of crude American insults really drives home the point that I am in fact, a "douche bag."

Thanks, although I realize it was a bit redundant pointing out the obvious.

>> "After all, when someone makes the comment that the PSP has a boatload of ports, and someone (blindly) attempts to defend the PSP with a link that BLATENTLY SHOWS that the PSP has said ports, does that mean that no one is allowed to respond to such blind fanboyism? Of course it does! Because you like the PSP, and no one questions the All-Might wrath of Sony! "

Bring on the ports. I love ports. That's the reason I bought a PlayStation Portable. I want to "port" (as in portable port of a console game you portly douche) my games around on my portable game machine. What a fuckin concept!

In fact, here's a shirt list of some MORE games I would like to see ported, in no particular order:

Rez
Resident Evil 4
Devil May Cry
Ratchet and Clank
DOA
Shadow of the Colossus
God of War
Call of Duty (in dev)
Rainbow Six (in dev)
Unreal Tournament
Soul Calibur 1, 2 or 3
Metal Gear Solid (in dev)
Okami
Ico
Gran Turismo (in dev)
Half Life
Psychonauts
Onimusha
Final Fantasy 8
Kingdom Hearts
Star Wars Rogue Squadron
The Warriors
Def Jam (already out)
Rygar
Quake 3 or 4

...blah blah blah blah, I could go on and on and on. You will probably see most of those games on the PSP sooner or later.

The fact of the matter is that fleshsocks such as yourself are quick to snap at the first attempt to lay down some bullshit against the PSP. I don't know why - maybe people like you just don't like good games on the go. Maybe "unique" pet-the-puppy, solve-the-elementary--school-math-equation, cook-the-caserole type of games are your thing. Maybe you should stfu because I'm really tired of hearing it.

>> "I might own an advanced version of the PS3..."

If you do, you paid too much for it. And by the way, what would be an "advanced" version of the PS3? One that's actually finished, with a devkit, online service, et al?

>> "Thank you for giving me a chance to put my college courses to good use. Good day."

I bet your parents are proud of the money they spent.

FIFA 360 deserves red card, EA gyps again

Sep 20th 2006 12:07PM (Joystiq)
You guys forgot to mention that they also gimped NCAA Football 07.

Great business plan, EA. Charge more, for less features just because its on a next-gen system.

...and the graphic aren't that big of a leap either.

Pathetic.

The PSP: One Year Later

Jun 7th 2006 11:42AM (Joystiq Playstation)
I just bought a PSP so I could have something to complain about. And believe me, $250 is a small price to pay for this little conversation piece.

So far, I've been nothing but satisfied with how much I am able to complain about it. My blog post count has nearly tripled since I bought it!

Thank you Sony for making me a part of society again!

PSP RULES!

The PSP: One Year Later

HAHA! Looks like the PSP is fallen to the king of portable gaming systems, the Nintendo GameboyMicroDSLiteâ„¢.

I told you, from day one that Nintendo just makes a better product. Why? Because they are Nintendo. The name alone MEANS gaming. Sony means crap. Sony means you'll only get to play arcade style console ports. TEH LAME. If you want real and innovative games, just look at what the DS is offering: MarioKart (not a console port), Metroid Prime Hunters (not a console port), Nintendogs, BrainAge, the list goes on you know the DS rules and yeah i bought 3 DSes and i am going to buy three more DS lites and rub them all over my body while giggling like a little girl because that's what i am.

Luvs!!!!!!

Next-gen Rez sequel in the cards? [update 2]

Fanboys to PSP: We still love you

Apr 5th 2006 12:22AM (Joystiq Playstation)
Listen, Simpleton, you don't have to justify playing with a kid's oriented gaming system just because you are nearing thirty by saying the audience is wider.

Seriously, I'm like you, probably. I like games, and I like them on a lot of different systems (genesis, dreamcast, snes, gamecube, ps2, xbox, 360, psp, pc, etc). However, unlike you if I am interested in a game that is an exclusive on a console that I don't own, chances are I'll go pick it up. And chances are I'll buy and play a few more games on that same system (the horror!). I know you brand-loyal Nintendo-ites love to share your opionons, and god bless you for it, it's never biased.

Look, I didn't buy a psp because other people had them and I had to look cool. In fact I was evaluating buying a DS...until I saw a preorder for the PSP and I jumped on it. I was one of the first people to have it before anyone I knew did. I was in it for the games - twisted metal, wipeout pure, nba street, ridge racer, lumines - all awesome launch (or launch month) titles.

You see, I WANT to play the games I enjoy on consoles on the go and I want to play them without using a pen. Some say they're all ports. GOOD, Bring it!! Because I get enough pen action with my Wacom tablet and PalmPilot.

PPS. Here's hoping the big N ports Metroid to the PSP. =P

PPS. I'm petting my real dog with a pencil! It effing RULES!

Fanboys to PSP: We still love you

"2. I'm sorry, is this a joke of some kind? Three titles of dubious quality aren't going to unseat the DS as the far superior gaming machine."

Hey, Mr. Off-topic DSFanboy, why the rivalry? These aren't competing systems, remember? Or was the original title of this entry "PSP Fanboys to DS Fanboys, get ready to be unseated." ?

The fact of the matter is this: The only reason Nintendo sells more units is because it pushes to a much younger audience. Check out the maturity level of the comments - its no secret DSKids hang around PSP posts waiting to jump in and say "NINTENDO IS STILL #1 !!!!!!!!! AND I AM BETTER!!!!"

More children = more units sold = more immature comments.

Joy of Painting coming to Revolution & DS -- no really, seriously

Van Dyke Brown is not in the Nintendo Revolution's available color palette.

=(

Joy of Painting coming to Revolution & DS -- no really, seriously

I doubt the Nintendo Revolution has the computational power to reproduce that magnificant cloud of hair.

If only i could pick a fro like that...
