I'm not sure how the multiplayer works. So far I can work both controllers co-op like in Defend your Castle but there doesnt seem to be any turns or any benefit to having a second person. Is there a different multi player mode?

That's a good topic; What is the best way to spend 2000pts? With new Wiiware like Goo and Defend you Castle or some classic arcade like Pac-Man, Galaga, Donkey Kong and Punch out! Or 3 great shmups like Blazing Lazers, R-Type and Dead Moon. and all with out having that annoying 100pts left over just taunting you to put more money in.

Now if they can only keep the terrible choice of going black and white from destroying the game.

I was complaining about the graphics that I have seen not the game I havent played, Sonic. You like playing games in black and white, I don't, I think it looks crappy thats my opinion and I'm entitled to it without a bunch of obnoxious gamers calling me a moron so go spam Amazon with 1 star ratings for Spore or whatever gamers-spazzes do and STFU.
