Engadget's recession antidote: win a be.ez LAbesace LIME DROP laptop case!

Apr 17th 2009 1:10PM (Engadget)
I really hope I win. The case I have now has a huge hole in it, leading me to often need to go chasing after pens, my iPod and all sorts of other things. Sadly, I don't have the cash to replace it. :(

Engadget's recession antidote: win a 32GB iPod touch plus a free copy of iPodRip!

Mar 26th 2009 2:41PM (Engadget)
I'm really hoping that Apple adds an easier way to make iTMS playlists that can contain seperate sub-playlists with a list of music I'd always like to keep on my iPod and and then a random pull from my library that fills up the remainder of my space.

Of course, if I won this iPod Touch I wouldn't need to worry about it, since my library isn't 32GB in size! :)

CNN's Wolf Blitzer to interview hologram strategists on election night

Nov 4th 2008 6:14PM (Engadget)
Help me, Wolf. You're my only hope...

The AP asks: Where's the Dark Knight game?

Aug 8th 2008 12:35PM (Joystiq)
For the love of Heath Leger, please don't create or publish one. Just think, if it exists someone, somewhere will need to say "Eh, the game sucks, but at least the movie was good."

Just let Dark Knight remain an unblemished bit of greatness. Go play some Streets of Rage or Final Fight if you want to beat people up.

Data Robotics announces second-gen Drobo with FireWire 800

Jul 8th 2008 12:31PM (Engadget)
I feel really stupid for having spent extra money on a 'server class' motherboard just so I could accommodate all the SATA drives I wanted to introduce into my RAID setup. If the Drobo had been around then, especially in a Firewire configuration, it would have been ideal.

Oh well, so it goes with technology I guess.

Time Warner plans to spin off Time Warner Cable at long last

Apr 30th 2008 11:14AM (Engadget)
For what it's worth, despite people bitching about them I've always had good service from Time Warner's cable service. I'd love love *love* for a better DVR/cable box, though.

Dutch cyclists lobbying for external airbags on cars

Apr 24th 2008 1:45PM (Engadget)
That byclist deserves to be run over for wearing such tacky clothes. The 70s are over, my friend, dump that pumpkin outfit!

Ben Heck outdoes himself (again) with the Apple IIGS laptop

Apr 15th 2008 7:48PM (Engadget)
This is awesome.

Ben Heck is awesome.

Some company should throw a million dollars at him and invite him to just play in a R&D lab for awhile.

Trucker blindly follows GPS, gets wedged in farm lane

Feb 22nd 2008 11:08AM (Engadget)
Apparently if someone found a way to hack into the data that all these GPS receivers draw from they could direct everyone to drive into the Grand Canyon or something.

People complain that they dislike the prospect of computer-controlled cars that drive themselves, but obviously computer-assisted human drivers aren't exactly Mensa material either.

Ilife Technology's S5 PMP can emulate everything... except true love

Feb 22nd 2008 8:34AM (Engadget)
Personally I've always wanted a handheld media player that can create a confusing product line and host a game creator that's one of the most xenophobic shits ever to grace the planet.

But that's just me.
