In some agreements, you might be buying ad space for a particular programming, but in cases like FNC it is _very_ common to simply buy a package of air time, that the network distributes at its discretion, within limits.

It is thus very likely that, in order for Apple to remove any advertising from Mr. Beck's programming, they may have had to pull out _all_ of their advertising from the network.

Do you not understand the system of free enterprise? Apple is free to spend their marketing dollars in whatever way they see fit. Removing their advertising from a network is in no way an infringement on that network's 'right to free speech'.

Your concept of 'they' is muddled and confused. This is a story about Apple and FNC, not 'the liberal population' and 'Glenn Beck'.

Oh, and you may recall the efforts to ban the Dixie Chicks that Fox News _did_ in fact participate, or Bill O'Reilly's laughable call to protest the entire _nation_ of France during the beginning of the Iraq War.

Three problems I had with the ad:

1. The _first_ place she goes is an Apple store. What does it say when, even in your ad, your customer would rather have a Mac?

2. Like the previous MSFT ads, this one doesn't say anything positive about what Microsoft brings to the table, except in an abstract way. The Apple ads are certainly disparaging of Windows, but by way of saying how much better the OS X experience is in comparison.

3. The ad has _nothing_ to say about an actual Microsoft product. I think this has been one of the critical flaws in the recent Windows ads; The "I'm a PC" thing doesn't really track one-to-one until MSFT starts actually _making_ PCs. Yeah, the generic hardware is cheaper... how about telling us what makes Vista great? Oh, right.

Lord knows I'd need a *shopping cart* for all the Microsoft purchases I'd want to buy.

Would be nice if it fixed the system lockups it was giving me every time I got within 50 feet of the Jefferson Memorial. Tried this on multiple machines (both installed to the HDD and playing from the disc).

I've since traded in the game, don't want to pick it up again if it's not actually fixed.

Hopefully they stick with comics; Clearly their forte is in 2-dimensional characters.

Which is strange, seeing as it works on Firefox on my Intel machine.
