myTunes: the simplified iTunes DRM stripper for Windows

Sep 1st 2006 5:00PM (Engadget)
The loss of a generation does not concern me so much as the fact that it has to be burned to CD as .wav to strip out the DRM. This works for music but I have many audio book that I have purchased from audible.com. Just recently I found out that you can only have TWO audible accounts active at any time on iTunes... I have THREE. I want to strip out the DRM so I can get all of the books that I have purchased onto my iPod.
This "real time" solution doesn't work so well for my situation as some of these books are over 20 hours long. I would have to set up a seperate computer for just this project.

Ageia PhysX card makes explosions look pretty

Mar 25th 2006 2:23PM (Joystiq)
If the company expects me to shell out $300 for this item they better get on the ball and give us some REAL data. To me this smells of "tweaking". I want TRUE side by side comparisons. I want the scenes to be identical, the video cards to be set to the same exact settings and I want to trust that they didn't do anything "postproduction" wise to make their case look more atractive.
Just my 23.5 cents.

Feb 27th 2006 2:09PM (Engadget)
This article gave the impression that it was available for purchase... but on the SonyStyle site it still says coming in Spring of 2006 as it has for the past month. Am I missing somethign? I was all excited to get over there and get one. I have been waiting for a product like this for a while... I purchase a LOT of books via baen.com's webscriptions.
