It's not a formal announcement, but it's a link asking for sponsorship of the HD broadcasts. (They did this same thing with the ACC HD broadcasts for basketball last year, and that came true exactly as noted in one of these same pages)

Jefferson Pilot (now Raycom) is going to be doing all their games in HD also.

AA for PC used to be good, then it seemed like it go to extensive and i guess branded.

CPL has been able to get mad sponsor money for years, they used to be more into PC games. I guess they decided to start moving into console games. The sponsors usually help out by lowering the price of admission too but I guess they didn't work out as well this time. Most of the previous tournaments in years past for any games have usually been $20-$150

have you guys even tried playing the battle mode in the demo yet?
