Popfrogs: That's true, EXCEPT, Criterion is an EA owned studio and DICE is an EA owned studio. Therefore, it IS an EA title, and developed as a part of EA. Just like Mythic, EA Black Box, Maxis, Pandemic, Bioware, EA Montreal, EA Redwood Shores, EA LA, EA Canada, and Tiburon (apologies to anybody at other EA studios that I didn't mention :-P).

If you want to go with EA published, be my guest. Left 4 Dead looks like it'll get rave reviews, and Rock Band 2 is one of the highest scoring Xbox 360 titles to date.

Hey, news flash, EA actually makes a lot of good games, and this year is definitely killer for EA. Wanna know what the following list is? Dead Space, Burnout: Paradise, Battlefield: Bad Company, FIFA 09, NHL 09, Madden NFL 09, NCAA Football 09, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 09. It's the games developed for Xbox 360 by EA Studios with a metacritic over 80 this year. Mirror's Edge will also undoubtedly get there as well.

It may be hard to believe, but the truth is in front of you: EA is making a lot of really good games nowadays.

It is, effectively, a port. It's the exact same game with the exact same artwork. And yes, it is being rendered in hi-def (not that it matters a whole lot since the artwork is so simple that the 360 could probably render it at 300fps)

If you want to play AC6, here's a quick breakdown of it (note, I actually really like the gameplay, it's just that the writing is so bad it's funny)

I find it hilarious that people are surprised given that it's a port of an Xbox 360 game (like Bioshock, Assassin's Creed...). What, you thought your Radeon 9800 is about as fast as the 360's GPU? And that the developers will profit enough off of the PC version that it was worth justifying crippling the look of the game to get it to run on your 4 year old PC? Give me a break.

Funnily enough, I have watched it, and was referencing it (i.e. "You didn't read the plea offer, did you?")

Army of Two was UE3 based. It references using Unreal Tech in the back of the manual, and in the credits in the game.

As anxious as I am for the movie, I'm probably going to protest it if they can't find some way to put Bender's voice into the head of whoever's playing Marcus.

My fingers are still crossed for Mass Effect MMO. I mean, ffs, Mass Effect is already a singleplayer MMO is just about every regard!
