Mar 17th 2009 3:35PM (Engadget)This sounds like a great idea, but isnt the PS3's strength in the cell processor and not the gpu? I though the whole point was for devs to leverage the cell processor for the heavy physics lifting and leave the gpu to graphics, etc. Itll be interesting to see how devs can make use of this or if itll largely go unused considering the power of the cell processor.
