Halo stats blown out by Bungie as studio moves on

Apr 2nd 2012 12:44PM (Joystiq)
It's a real shame we are losing all this data :( Wish I could have exported my stats or exported a code for some new stat system to help it all carry over.

EA still in running for The Consumerist's Worst Company in America

@Truant Hey if they helped me get 10$-20$s for every game I buy at Amazon then I am glad they did whatever it was they did.

HBO GO, Xfinity TV apps debut on Xbox 360 today

Mar 27th 2012 2:53PM (Joystiq)
Just wish I could subscribe to HBO through the app. I move this month and there is no way I can stick with my current provider which makes it kinda of pointless to sign up for HBO right now. Rawr...

@Saiyan26 These games have their own endings that are pretty great. You know this though.

The making of for ME1 is amazing. If you've never watched the content on the second disc in the platinum or collectors editions you are missing out. It's hands down my favorite collectors editions for content on how the game was made.

Example: 500 pieces of concept art each with it's own commentary track.

Life-size inflatable Portal turrets: the secret to a sophisticated home

Mar 21st 2012 4:52PM (Joystiq)
Only a handful of companies can get away with selling shit like this without outrage. Imagine if you could buy an inflatable Captain Price Mustache from from Call of Duty or an Alan Wake set of goggles with built in flasglight... oh the backlash i would get from buying these fine products.

Deja Review: Silent Hill HD Collection

@MarkHawk Sorry mis-read. Thought you were skipping 2 to go to 3. From what I recall all the stories feel independent so skip away.

@Cletus VanDamme While you can skip it, it is arguably the best in the series.

Battlefield 3 gets intimate with 'Close Quarters' screens, trailer

Mar 13th 2012 8:39AM (Joystiq)
I blame the popularity of Metro servers :p

I will be glad to finally be getting some new content though, just a shame it's not out till June. Makes me wonder if they were only doing patch issues since B2K DLC wrapped up.

Metal Gear Solid HD Collection shrunk down on Vita this summer

Mar 9th 2012 5:55PM (Joystiq)
@MarkHawk Amazon is reporting it'll be $39.99. Considering the HD collection on consoles was $49.99 with an extra game this is a little bit of a disappointment but completely what I was expecting to find. I was hoping we'd see a lower price considering these are just older repackaged games (to sum it up bluntly.)
