PC has been fine for me. 6 hours in.

The line is Philly was not bad at all - I arrived at about 2pm, was about 50th in line, and left the store at about 5:15.

I'd like to sync iWork documents easily so that I can continue them on my computer.

Wii Warm Up: Does it solve your storage problems?

Oct 2nd 2008 8:40AM (Joystiq Nintendo)
One card is over four times the amount of storage currently availabel for games (since some of the 512 onboard is taken up by system memory). Seriously, does anyone have that much stuff off of the VC / WiiWare store yet?

I've bought a ton of games that I currently back up to a 1gb SD card and I've nowhere near filled it. I think people are more attached to the number of 2gb without considering how small these games / wiiware titles really are.

I think that half a thousand is great for a game that wasn't really advertised. Hopefully the slow burn will continue ...

Revolutionary: More Motion

Thanks for providing insight as to why the technology wasn't included in the Wiimote at launch. People forget about the size and power constraints that make sense for a game controller.

This is seriously like a dream come true.

E308: Wii Sports Resort bundle gets priced?

Jul 16th 2008 8:48AM (Joystiq Nintendo)
$50 for a new Wii Sports? Did anyone really expect anything less?

Nintendo games always have enough polish to make them more than worthy of that price.

I agree with the other poster about Greatest Hits. It'd be great to snag some of the earlier Wii titles at a reduced price (outside of eBay).

Wii Warm Up: Give us your three cents about E3

Jul 16th 2008 8:46AM (Joystiq Nintendo)
I thought it was a decent presentaion. I'm excited for the one to one motion of WiiMotion Plus - not alot of people are talking about it, but the real time motion shown during the Disc Dog and Sword Fighting demos were very impressive.

My big hope for WiiMotion Plus is that it makes it easier for developers to make great motion controlled games. Nintendo tends to get it right with their games, but the third party games have been much more hit or miss.

Obviously, the announcement of Wii Speak is a pretty big deal. I'm pretty sure that it won't be long until someone manufactures a headset portion.

Call of Duty World War for the Wii is a HUGE deal. I saw an interview where they state that they have a team of engineers that are specifically focusing on the Wii version. Hopefully they put as much effort into it as they have with their EA Sports titles.

The announcement of GTA for the DS was interesting, but I wish there was more mention of how it would work, and possibly a trailer.

I also wish that there was more Mad World!
