Sega clarifies first-week sales numbers for The Conduit

Aug 5th 2009 7:50PM (Joystiq)
The Conduit was a large, smelly, watery turd that reminds me of the run of bad FPS's that were released after Halo CE made it big on the OG Xbox. There were times when playing it (using component cables) that reminded me of Rainbow 6 on the Dreamcast (graphically). THe overly linear nature (I know, all FPS's are linear), bland repetitive enemy design and hilariously bad story makes for an overhyped, boring and mediocre game. Too bad that = quality in the Wii's paltry non 1st party lineup.

I hate to admit wasting $50 on this game. Shadowrun on the 360 had more depth than this game.

BioShock has 'potential' for numerous sequels, suggests 2K boss

Jan 7th 2009 1:15PM (Joystiq)
"I wouldn't get a Bioshock prequel or squeal, the plot was terrible and the game play wasn't anything special. I'd suggest others do the same so we don't see more of this crap. "

This coming from a guy with a Halo avatar. Bioshock was a very good game with a very good story. It was far, far greater than Halo 3.

As for numerous sequels, I'm already interested in how they plan to add more story to a game that seemed to close everything up.

Now, a multiplayer component allowing you to utilize your upgraded character would be sweet.

Doesn't that apply to just about any game? It all depends on your preferences and what entertains you.

Obama takes campaign to Burnout's Paradise City

Oct 14th 2008 12:49PM (Joystiq)
You guys go ahead and vote for your Robin Hood. Whatever you do, don't be productive, otherwise he'll tax you and give it to others. I'm glad you agree with his policy of taking from those who achieve success and give it to those who do not. Why try to make anything of yourself when big brother government will just give it to you. I mean, after all, as a productive member of society, it is my patriotic duty to pay more taxes right?

Seriously, some of you uninformed morons should seek out the issues beyond just drinking the kool aid that the media feeds you. There is a lot more to this a$$clown that is frightening at the least. His ties to racists, ACORN and staunch socialists should be enough to warrant the fears of most. Sadly, people have turned a blind eye to this person's past.

Vote for a person with a checkered past and absolutely no history or experience in leading anything. Nice job.

Historically, socialism has always, always failed. There are too many greedy people who ensure it's failure.

Obama takes campaign to Burnout's Paradise City

He knows that if he can get more uninformed idiots to vote his socialist regime can take over. Politicians need to stay away from entertainment. $500 million dollars spent to win a job that pays $400K.

@Nigeria, asking those kinds of questions seem logical, but the U.S. press could care less. They've bought into his ideaology hook line and sinker and could care less about the facts. I agree, 3rd parties are the way to go, sadly the press gives them no voice and brainwash people into thinking that a career politician and a lawyer who has done NOTHING but run for office are the only viable candidates.

To the topic at hand, I don't want to or care to see advertisements for politicians of any party in my games. I was seriously going to buy Burnout, now it's not going to happen.

Actually, I have both systems. I could really care less about seeing what level my friends are playing on. For free, the PSN is a terrific service. D0uch3 comments, however intended, are d0uch3 comments.

Bring me a new Legacy of Kain, and I'll turn your company around. Ok, so maybe I won't turn your company around, but I will buy a new Legacy of Kain game.
