@cupidpsyche Something is wrong with your tivo. The only time my units go down is when i unplug it by mistake.

@a12ctic Tivo can already transfer stuff to your laptop. Tivo to go. Having a less powerful device transcode the video for you, so you can plug your laptop directly in and get it transfered doesn't make any sense. Having it put it onto your iphone directly makes far more sense, but it is impossible, thanks to apple.

the box used in that demo is a xbox 360 devkit, and they are BEAUTIFUL.

Correcting an error in my reply:

Sorry, it's rather late, made a simple error in my responce. The copying happens over ethernet, not usb. The USB port(s) are only used for dvd drive emulation, with the other one being used for debugging on very old recoveries, before they changed it to also occur over ethernet.

also, the real jem that shows that your entire post is a lie, is when you stated that the sidecar has extra hard-drives in it. Sorry! You lose! Only one.
