I don't want to bag on Tri-Ace, I love their games, but it sounds like he's saying it would've been 'unfairly' fun for people who are better at actions games, so the action elements of the game were simplified to prevent this from happening.

I know it's not exactly what he meant, but I wonder if this neutered concept might fail to appeal to any market of geography or genre.

I mean, would a heavily action oriented version of Valkyie Profile with a small party each with specific weapon based melee and ranged attacks be so bad? Sort of Valkyie Profile mashed into Dynasty Warriors. ...That sounds really fun actually.

Still very much looking forward to RoF, though.

Hopefully this can be brought to personal tech to one day replace
keyboards for text entry. Even if its only in limited application,
