I'm sick of seeing Legollas and Sephiiroth myself.
As for naming Gnomes, from WoWWiki/World of Warcraft: The Roleplaying Game - "Gnome parents name their children at birth. Gnomes have family names that represent an honored ancestor’s achievements, but they only keep these names until some time in their thirties. At this point, gnome society expects them to have made their own achievements, and thus the gnome invents a new name that represents his own accomplishments. This name then takes the place of his family name. "
So get creative with those Gnome last names! Think of what sort of inventions your Gnome (or her/his parent's inventions) would be famous for!
I'm also a little sad to see nothing on Goblin/Worgen names, for those of us trying to develop characters for Cataclysm. I know I can't be the only one stuck on what to name my Male Worgen Hunter! I know we don't have a lot of Worgen NPCs yet, so that might pose a problem (though Grizzly Hills might prove a good place to start). Surely though, there are enough Goblins in-game to at least mention them...
" Selfloathius liked Gelnip, because Gelnip hated Selfloathius almost as much as Selfloathius hated Selfloathius." I laughed so hard my brother had to make sure I was alright.
Just thinking about Me'dan conjures thoughts of "Young" Anakin in Star Wars Episode 1. No thanks.
Fair word of warning to everyone about the WoW comics: the writer loves exposition. LOVES IT. I hope you enjoy walls of text, stories that go on for too long, and (my favorite) reminding you about a person's particular character trait over and over again just in case you missed it the last time!
I can't wait for the scene where the unseen hand of God suddenly forces tons of park goers to let go of their balloons, forcing them to buy new ones. Or the scene where it starts to rain and the park guests discover the Umbrella Stand has begun to sell umbrellas for the new low price of $69.99 a pop!
