DIY Wii Classic Controller clip
"Here's a nice isometric view of it ..."
"As you can see, there are two posts (that go into the Classic Controller) with slots that fit the tabs that are engaged/retracted at the push of the middle button. Those "nubs" on the tops of the left posts fit the slot that runs along the Wiimote and interface with the indentation at the midpoint of the Wiimote. A channel runs along the entire clip, which allow the clip to be slid onto the Wiimote without hitting the 1 & 2 buttons."
"Here is the clip being attached to the Wiimote ..."
"And here it is locking into pace."
"To show how the clip interfaces with the Classic Controller ..."
"By depressing the middle button, it engages a spring which retracts the tabs inside the controller. The clip goes in, you release the middle button, and you're ready to attach the clip to the Wiimote."
"Just as I showed in the closeups before, you slide it up the Wiimote groove ..."
"... and lock it into place."
"Now you're playing with power!"
