The 70s, 80s and 90s pack is available now on <a href="http://store.steampowered.com/app/223595/">Steam</a> for $20.<br /><br />The 70s portion includes bellbottoms, halter top catsuits and platform shoes, along with minimalist furniture and a disco ball. The 80s bring legwarmers, leotards, headbands and shoulder pads, and the decor portion includes arcade machines and an entertainment system. The 90s remind us why "grunge" generally isn't a complimentary term, with tattered jeans, layered tops, asymmetrical handkerchief hemline skirts, and furniture in distressed and industrial metal styles. Each decade comes with the related hairstyles and facial hair.<br /><br />Remember, in 20 years we'll all look back on the 2010s with just as much revulsion, but with more photographic evidence of our absurd tastes.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/01/24/the-sims-3-dlc-packs-some-bellbottoms/">The Sims 3 DLC packs some bellbottoms</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 24 Jan 2013 03:30:00 EST. But that won't stop Ubisoft from releasing <em>Driver 76</em>, an exclusive new addition to the <em>Driver</em> franchise. <em>Driver 76</em> will feature 27 new missions set in NYC in the 70s (back when it was actually a dangerous place to live). Like a certain other well-known carjacking franchise, this game will feature an open-world environment for you to explore and an "authentic" soundtrack.<br /><br />While this may seem overly familiar, one feature stands out as a clear draw for me: downloadable content. The <a href="http://www.digitaldisplacement.com/?p=2238">press release</a> mentions downloadable paintjobs, but hopefully, we'll also see new game content as well.<br /><br />[Via digg]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/01/22/driver-76-kicks-up-the-funk/">Driver 76 kicks up the funk</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 22 Jan 2007 15:30:00 EST. While the video doesn't offer any new info on the game, it does provide plenty of in-game footage of the game's bloody carnage. The designer compares it to <em>Smash TV</em> and <em>Robotron</em>, but with a crazy alien 70s game show feel. Keep this one on your radar: it'll be a mere $30 when it launches in Q1 2007, and it'll feature 8-player online infrastructure play with stat-tracking.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2006/08/20/cash-money-chaos-video-interview/">Cash Money Chaos video interview</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Sun, 20 Aug 2006 13:30:00 EST. And like the original Elvis, you are <a href="http://www.ibiblio.org/elvis/alien.html">captured by aliens</a>, and are forced to participate in a "twisted 70s game show." No, you're not going to be playing <a href="http://www.cbs.com/daytime/price/"><em>The Price is Right</em></a>. You'll have to fight through dozens of enemies, killing everything in your sight. This "uber fast" shooter appears to play a bit like <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2005/12/03/greatest-game-ever-hits-xbox-360-this-week/"><em>Robotron</em></a>, if it suddenly turned into <a href="http://www.cinematical.com/2005/09/04/robocop-man-of-letters/"><em>Robocop</em></a> instead: making people's bodies explode in buckets of blood. The game will come with more than 50 levels, and include online infrastructure play for up to 8 players.<br /><br />If you're interested in some really brutal cartoon violence, and want to kill ninjas, hillbillies, clowns, pirates, and aliens, then you'll have to wait a while: <em>Cash Money Chaos</em> is coming "early 2007." Check out the <a href="http://cashmoneychaos.com/">official website</a> to score some art and screenshots.<br /><br />[Thanks, <a href="http://www.shindakun.net/2006/08/09/soe-announces-cash-money-chaos/">steve</a>!]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2006/08/09/cash-money-chaos-insanely-bloody-debut/">Cash Money Chaos' insanely bloody debut</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 09 Aug 2006 10:10:00 EST.
