Three days ago marked the <a href="http:// http://www.joystiq.com/2011/11/15/the-10-best-xbox-exclusives-no-spartans-allowed/">Xbox's tenth anniversary</a> -- which means today is the GameCube's tenth. Those two systems are emblematic of the rift between "core" and "casual" gaming that formed seemingly around them -- nobody really thought there <em>was</em> a difference in previous generations, but the contrast between the Mountain Dew-green, imposing Xbox and the family-friendly, lunchbox-shaped, honestly adorable GameCube underscored the growing divide.<br />
<br />
Just as we did with the Xbox, we're celebrating the GameCube today with a look at ten of its exclusive titles. More of these led to sequels and ports elsewhere, but in almost every case, there was some aspect of the game that never "clicked" away from the GameCube. Oh, and we're not listing the obvious ones. Yes, we all liked <em>Smash Bros.</em> and <em>Zelda</em>. Where's the fun in bringing <em>those</em> up again?<br />
<br />
After the break, find an utterly arbitrary list of GameCube games we liked. But first, we have to begin properly: <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KtgX2PJPMmw">like this</a>.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/11/18/the-10-best-gamecube-exclusives-other-than-the-obvious/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>The 10 best GameCube exclusives (other than the obvious)</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/11/18/the-10-best-gamecube-exclusives-other-than-the-obvious/">The 10 best GameCube exclusives (other than the obvious)</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 18 Nov 2011 18:15:00 EST. You have to like <em><a href="http://joystiq.com/tag/eternal-darkness">Eternal Darkness</a></em> to work at Joystiq. It's on the application exam (right next to the section on <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DwrPuCnNbv8">Metal Gear Awesome</a>). As such, it is our duty to share the discovery of some <em>Eternal Darkness</em> concept art on the Behance Network page of John Dobbie, former assistant lead artist for <a href="http://joystiq.com/tag/silicon-knights">Silicon Knights</a>.<br />
<br />
The various pieces depict several endings that never made it into the final game (which ended up with four possible endings). The images depict a zombie apocalypse, giant structures built with human bones and humanity marching directly into the mouth of the lobster-like god, Chattur'gha. <br />
<br />
Head over to <a href="http://www.behance.net/gallery/Concept-Art/126316">Dobbie's Behance page</a> to check them out.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/02/15/eternal-darkness-concept-art-shows-endings-that-could-have-been/">Eternal Darkness concept art shows endings that could have been</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 15 Feb 2011 00:00:00 EST. Nintendo has <a href="http://tarr.uspto.gov/servlet/tarr?regser=serial&amp;entry=77932350">filed for a trademark</a> on the phrase <em>"<a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/eternal-darkness">Eternal Darkness</a>,"</em> the title of <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eternal_Darkness:_Sanity%27s_Requiem">the GameCube's Silicon Knights-developed psychological horror game</a>. It tricked us by doing things like pretending to reset the console or lowering a fake volume indicator on the TV screen, due to a low in-game "sanity" meter. Apparently the trademark lapsed recently, and while we'd love to tell you that this means someone is working on a brand new version of <em>Eternal Darkness</em> for the Wii, it likely just means that Nintendo is covering its trademarked bases.<br />
<br />
Besides, if you just want a Wii game that will drive you nuts, try some <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/07/07/spogs-racing-slams-into-wiiware/"><em>SPOGS Racing</em></a>. That game is so bad it's <em>crazy</em>.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/02/18/nintendo-re-applies-for-eternal-darkness-trademark/">Nintendo re-applies for Eternal Darkness trademark</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 18 Feb 2010 09:00:00 EST. In a lengthy post-mortem with <a href="http://www.gamasutra.com/view/feature/4152/rocksteadys_sefton_hill_unmasks_.php">Gamasutra</a> this week, Rocksteady Studios creative director Sefton Hill spoke his mind on a mess of topics regarding this summer's surprise hit, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/batman-arkham-asylum"><em>Batman: Arkham Asylum</em></a>. "There are too many games out there that deliver lots of average content," Hill said when asked about the relative "tightness" of <em>Batman </em>in comparison with other games. Personal inspiration for the game's design came from places like <em>Zelda</em> and <em>Metroid</em>, two game series he's been a fan of "for years," as well as Silicon Knights' <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/eternal-darkness"><em>Eternal Darkness</em></a>. And though <em>Arkham</em>'s audio logs and "environment as a character" motif hearken back to 2007's <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/bioshock"><em>BioShock</em></a>, Hill claimed he's never played it. "It's on my list of games to get back into ... I can't say for me that was a big direct influence."<br /><br />Truth be told, we're just scratching the surface of <a href="http://www.gamasutra.com/view/feature/4152/rocksteadys_sefton_hill_unmasks_.php">Gamasutra</a>'s thorough dissection of <em>Batman</em> -- <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/08/21/review-batman-arkham-asylum/">a game we loved</a> with all of our jaded, rancorous hearts -- so do yourself a favor and stroll through the entire five pages. Call it an afternoon treat! You <em>deserve it</em>, dearest Joystiq reader.<br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/batman-arkham-asylum-2/">Batman: Arkham Asylum</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/batman-arkham-asylum-2/#1457066"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/03/highres_screenshot_00002_resize-3272009-5_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/batman-arkham-asylum-2/#1330325"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/02/batman.arkham.asylum1-1302009-11_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/batman-arkham-asylum-2/#1457067"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/03/intensive_treatment_17_resize-3272009-9_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/batman-arkham-asylum-2/#1330326"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/02/batman.arkham.asylum2-1302009-10_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/batman-arkham-asylum-2/#1457068"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/03/highres_screenshot_00112_resize-3272009-6_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/10/19/batman-arkham-asylum-creator-focused-on-quality-over-quantity/">Batman: Arkham Asylum creator focused on quality over quantity, hasn't played BioShock</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 19 Oct 2009 20:00:00 EST. A Canadian cultural agency known as Telefilm Canada recently <a href="http://babelfish.yahoo.com/translate_url?doit=done&amp;tt=url&amp;intl=1&amp;fr=bf-home&amp;trurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.telefilm.gc.ca%2Fdata%2FFlashInfo%2FFlashInfo_1013.asp&amp;lp=fr_en&amp;btnTrUrl=Translate">posted a list</a> of 56 new media projects it's helping to fund over the next year. For most of us, the approach of Halloween signifies a few things: a chill in the air as winter crawls ever closer, overdosing on candy, and concerned parents fretting over how many razor blades they're going to find lodged in seemingly innocent candy apples. For a few of us, it means wild parties and <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/10/27/and-the-dead-space-costume-contest-winner-is/">crazy costumes</a>. But for <em>all </em>of us, it's the season for scares.<br /><br />Of course, how you get your fair share of hair-raising excitement is up to you, but we here at Nintendo Wii Fanboy think there's a better way for you to spend your time than seeing <a href="http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/saw_v/"><em>Saw V</em></a> this Halloween weekend. Close the blinds, turn off the lights, crank up the sound and settle down with one of the scariest, most original games of last generation: Silicon Knights' <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/eternal-darkness/"><em>Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem</em></a>. Everyone's favorite purple lunchbox was often criticized as being a kiddie platform to the chagrin of Nintendo fans everywhere, and <em>Eternal Darkness</em> did its best to challenge those claims when it was released in 2002. The game's rich narrative and diverse gameplay were a large part of its appeal (and <a href="http://www.metacritic.com/games/platforms/cube/eternaldarkness?q=eternal%20darkness">critical acclaim</a>), but being one of the downright creepiest games of all time sure didn't hurt. For messing with our heads and making us afraid to sleep at night, <em>Eternal Darkness</em> is the scariest game that's ever been <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/category/born-for-wii/">Born for Wii</a>.<br />

You know, where we make a statement and then <em>italicize the second part of the sentence to indicate that this is where the funny is</em>. When you work in cynicism, sentimentality and unfettered joy are difficult to host. You can't be contemptuous one moment but filled with child-like joy the next. Thus, we tend to judge the value of holidays based primarily on if it grants us a day off from work. <br /><br /> Yet one holiday that seems to entertain even the crabbiest of bloggers is Halloween. Around the world, the lead-up to October 31st has us enjoying the orange and black decorations, scanning late-night cable for horror movies, and attempting to rationalize buying abundant amounts of candy at the counter of the drug store. Sure, we can be as bitter and weathered as we allow ourselves to be, but there's no denying the joy of carving pumpkins, piecing together a costume, and perhaps even enjoying a good scare or two. <br /><br /> As gaming is always finding new ways to entertain us, fans of things that go bump in the night have no shortage of spooky games. Developers have been attempting to give us frights ever since the obscenely terrible <em>Halloween</em> for the Atari 2600. Good gameplay can survive regardless of technology, but generating a convincing scare is <em>usually</em> dependent on quality audio and visuals. Since top-notch technology and mature content have inconsistently been attributes of Nintendo, our favorite line of consoles is slightly lacking in good scares. But while the <em>Silent Hills</em> and <em>Fatal Frames</em> of the other guys have given us plenty of sleepless nights, Nintendo's consoles are home to a handful of underwear-changing moments. Here's the Top 5 moments that, speaking in strict technical terms, <em>give us the heebie-jeebies</em>. <br /></div> <br /> <div align="center"> </div> <div class="buttontext"> <div align="center"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/10/27/top-5-5" id="ninbutton">NEXT &gt;&gt; </a></div> </div> <style type="text/css"> #ninbutton { border-style: solid; border-color: #000; border-width: 2px; background-color: #BBB; color: #000; text-decoration: none; width: 100px; text-align: center; padding: 2px 2px 2px 2px; margin: 2px 2px 2px 2px; } .buttontext { color: #000; text-decoration: none; font: bold 14pt Helvetica; } #ninbutton:hover { text-decoration: none; color: #BBB; background-color: #000; } </style> <center> </center><br /> <div style="border-top: 1px solid; padding-top: 5px;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/category/top-five/"><img hspace="4" border="1" align="left" vspace="4" src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2008/07/top5_thumbnail_kd_20080702.jpg" alt="" /></a><em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/category/top-five/">The Top 5</a> is a weekly feature that provides us with a forum to share our opinions on various aspects of the video game culture, and provides you with a forum to tell us how wrong we are. <br />Our greener, slightly more hi-def colleagues at <a href="http://xbox.joystiq.com">X3F</a> recently had a chance to sit down with Denis Dyack, famously <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/08/19/dyacks-defense-too-human-haters-just-dont-get-it/">outspoken</a> founder and president of Silicon Knights. Although Dyack and Silicon Knights have been working with <em><a href="http://xbox.joystiq.com">the</a> <a href="http://playstation.joystiq.com">others</a></em> in recent years, the company does have a history of working alongside Nintendo, perhaps most notably when Ninty published cult favorite <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/eternal-darkness/"><em>Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem</em></a> on the GameCube. Since it was released in 2002, the fan clamor for an <em>Eternal Darkness</em> follow-up has been <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/05/14/strong-chance-eternal-darkness-will-return-but-will-it-be-for/">considerable</a>.<br /><br />Regrettably, the signs given by Dyack here (at around the 4.30 mark) aren't encouraging. The sticking point seems to be the issue of who owns the <em>Eternal Darkness</em> IP, something which Dyack describes as "a complicated question with a complicated answer."<br /><br />That said, he also reveals that Nintendo is a "silent partner" with the developer, and that the two companies have a "great" relationship. "It's not time to talk about <em>Eternal Darkness 2</em>," he concludes. The chances of an <em>Eternal Darkness</em> sequel on Wii seem a little slimmer after watching this, and that makes us sad pandas.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/08/28/dyack-ownership-of-eternal-darkness-ip-is-complicated/">Dyack: Ownership of Eternal Darkness IP is 'complicated'</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 28 Aug 2008 14:40:00 EST. Dyack went on to say that, despite some reports to the contrary, SK has never announced <em>ED2</em> to be in development.<br /><br />Dyack also discussed his one console theory, and how the consolidation of the developers and publishers support his claim that the industry is moving towards a one-console future, adding that Silicon Knights is not opposed to being acquired by a publisher. He also said that the company's next game will be "very different" from <em>Too Human</em>, declining to elaborate further.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/08/28/dyack-nintendo-a-silent-partner-eternal-darkness-ip-ownershi/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Dyack: Nintendo a 'silent partner', Eternal Darkness IP ownership 'complicated'</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/08/28/dyack-nintendo-a-silent-partner-eternal-darkness-ip-ownershi/">Dyack: Nintendo a 'silent partner', Eternal Darkness IP ownership 'complicated'</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 28 Aug 2008 12:00:00 EST. In the final part of our <a href="http://xbox360fanboy.com/too-human">three-part interview</a> with Silicon Knights president <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/Denis-Dyack/">Denis Dyack</a> one of the biggest questions lingering in our mind was the ownership debate regarding the <em>Eternal Darkness</em> IP. Some say Nintendo is the sole owner of the name, some say they were simply the publishers.<br /><br />While Denis agreed that the question is one they have never answered in the past, he still kept silent on the answers. ""It's a complicated question with a complicated answer and we're not answering that question."<br /><br />However Dyack surprised us by stating that Silicon Knights still has a "silent partner" in Nintendo when discussing <em>Eternal Darkness</em> but reiterates that nothing has ever been announced for a sequel to the famed horror title.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/08/28/dyack-mum-on-eternal-darkness-ip-ownership/">Dyack mum on Eternal Darkness IP ownership</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 28 Aug 2008 11:00:00 EST. Speaking to <a href="http://computerandvideogames.com/article.php?id=195319">CVG</a>, Silicon Knights head Denis Dyack mentioned the company's next title that isn't part of the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/too-human"><em>Too Human</em></a> trilogy. Mentioning some of Silicon Knights titles (including the likes of <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/eternal-darkness"><em>Eternal Darkness</em></a> and <em>Legacy of Kain</em>), Dyack emphasized the diversity of the company's catalog. Apart from the remaining <em>Too Human</em> titles, Dyack noted that the company's next title will be "nothing like anything else" Silicon Knights has done before. Could this be the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/crucible"><em>Crucible</em></a> title that was leaked earlier this year? We don't know, obviously, but there is one thing that we can surmise here: whatever it is, Silicon Knights' next title won't be <em>Eternal Darkness 2</em>. Sigh ....<br /><br />[Via <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/08/19/silicon-knights-next-game-not-two-human-but-trilogy-will-con/">Joystiq</a>]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/08/20/dyack-hints-at-next-non-too-human-title/">Dyack hints at next non-Too Human title</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 20 Aug 2008 13:45:00 EST. After viewing <em>Zero Punctuation's</em> <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/07/30/zero-punctuation-apparently-missed-the-actual-e3/">latest video</a>, I've decided that the old phrase distributed liberally by parents and teachers is indeed very true: "you can't please everyone." Nintendo themselves must have felt this pretty hard after their E3 showing was widely perceived as sub-par. On the gamers' side, even those who were most disappointed usually turned to any of the numerous third party efforts for hope. Understanding that <em>Zero Punctuation</em> is mostly intended as farce, it's difficult to call them out. Yet one glaring assertion must be rebutted: E3 2008 was most definitely <em>not</em> the year of the sequel. In fact, on the Nintendo side, the exact opposite was true. <br /><br /> For the first time in a long while, I'm much more excited about upcoming third party releases than Nintendo titles as a whole (save for <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/07/30/wario-land-look-at-screens-of-it/"><em>Wario Land: Shake It!</em></a>). As those of us who braved the GameCube generation quickly learned, a console cannot survive on first party titles alone -- even those of <a href="http://www.metacritic.com/games/platforms/cube/supersmashbrosmelee">the</a> <a href="http://www.metacritic.com/games/platforms/cube/metroidprime">highest</a> <a href="http://www.metacritic.com/games/platforms/cube/legendofzeldathewindwaker">quality</a>. Here are the top five original third party games that we are excited about. <br /><br /> </div>

Alright, this isn't <em>officially</em> Xbox 360 news, but given Silicon Knights' <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/too-human">current relationship</a> with Microsoft, we're fairly confident that it <em>could</em> be. Speaking to <a href="http://www.totalvideogames.com/news/Dyack:_Strong_Chance_Of_Eternal_Darkness_Return_13217_7557_0.htm">TVG</a> at Microsoft's Spring Showcase, Silicon Knights head Dennis Dyack had some hopeful things to say regarding an <em>Eternal Darkness</em> sequel. After noting that Silicon Knights doesn't want to be "pigeon-holed" into any specific genres, he admitted, "There's a strong chance we'll return to it, but there's no announcements yet." This marks the best news we've heard about a possible sequel <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2006/07/09/eternal-darkness-2-absolutely-yes/">since 2006</a>. That joyous yet vaguely disturbing sound you just heard was a worldwide nerd-splosion of the highest order.<br /><br />[Via <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/05/14/dyack-strong-chance-that-eternal-darkness-will-return/">Joystiq</a>]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/05/14/dyack-strong-chance-of-eternal-darkness-sequel/">Dyack: 'Strong chance' of Eternal Darkness sequel</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 14 May 2008 14:00:00 EST. You know, it's a funny thing about adjectives in the video game industry. <em>Final Fantasy </em>is never actually final, the company that made <em>Cabela's 4x4 Off-Road Adventure III</em> was called Fun Labs and with its one appearance on GameCube, <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/search/?q=Eternal%20Darkness">Eternal Darkness</a> </em>seemed to be anything but. Silicon Knights boss <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/Denis-Dyack/">Denis Dyack</a> provided some hope however yesterday, while speaking at Microsoft's Spring Showcase.<br /><br />TVG reports that Dyack said "We don't want to be pigeon-holed [into a genre], we want to be known for strong content...There's a strong chance we'll return to it, but there's no announcements yet." It's not much, but if you've played the game we know that's enough for your day to be officially made. If you haven't -- what are you waiting for?<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/05/14/dyack-strong-chance-that-eternal-darkness-will-return/">Dyack: 'Strong chance' that Eternal Darkness will return</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 14 May 2008 12:30:00 EST. Even though the combat isn't that great, the game just did a wonderful job of screwing with our mind. When a game screws with you to the point that you believe it when it tells you that the memory card inserted into your console has no data on it, causing you to reboot the system and access the memory card directly, its experiences stick with you. At least, it stuck with us.<br /><br />Now, Silicon Knights' Dennis Dyack has commented that there is a pretty good chance his company will be returning to the IP for another title. <span id="intelliTXT" name="intelliTxt">"There is a chance; we love all the games we work on," he commented. "We don't want to be pigeon-holed [into a genre], we want to be known for strong content...There's a strong chance we'll return to it, but there's no announcements yet." So, good news for fans of the first title, however this is likely going to be a sore spot for some of you. Even though they remain open to developing a game for the Wii, with their work on the <em>Too Human</em> trilogy, the likelihood of that happening is probably pretty slim right now.<br /><br />Who else would do despicable, disgusting things to play an <em>Eternal Darkness</em> sequel on the Wii?<br /></span><br />[Via <a href="http://gonintendo.com/?p=42868">Go Nintendo</a>]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/05/14/strong-chance-eternal-darkness-will-return-but-will-it-be-for/">'Strong chance' Eternal Darkness will return, but will it be for Wii?</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 14 May 2008 10:15:00 EST. And what game was it?<br /><br />What you see above is actually the last GameCube game this blogger spent any time with. Since the Wii has caused the GameCube to be all but something to toss into a cardboard box and placed in the attic, garage or basement, I was rocking this bad boy on my Wii. So, it inevitably lead me to this post you read before you.<br /><br />Oblige us, won't you?<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/11/07/wii-warm-up-when-was-the-last-time-you-played-a-gamecube-game/">Wii Warm Up: When was the last time you played a GameCube game?</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 07 Nov 2007 09:00:00 EST.
