The PC launch is the first action in a plan by creator Phil Fish to port Fez to "pretty much everything." PSN and PS Vita, Mac, iOS, Linux and Ouya ports are all in various stages of development and planning, Fish has said. In little over a year, Fez has sold more than 200,000 copies on Xbox Live Arcade.

The collection also includes the 1981 text-based DOS/Apple II game Softporn Adventure, which despite how it sounds, is mostly about navigating a bar and reading newspapers. Not that we've played it or anything.

Good Old Games continues reaching out to new platforms, adding official Windows 8 support last week and expanding its Mac support with additional games this week. The newly Mac-compatible games include all three Star Controls and a bunch of games that are going to be really anticlimactic after the news that all three Star Controls are on Mac.

Okay, the other new GOG Mac games include Puddle, Pirates! Gold Plus, Master of Orion 1+2, Alone in the Dark 1, 2, and 3, Broken Sword 2: Remastered, Dragonsphere (which is free), and Screamer 2.

The digital distribution service stated 431 games (out of 486 available on the service) have been "fixed, tested, and reported" to work on Windows 8.

"Note that most of these have not had the master builds updated, so you shouldn't need to redownload the installer or anything," GOG's announcement noted. "Some of the titles, our build ninjas performed their usual magic on, and they'll work now in Windows 8 - and we're even adding Windows 7 support to a few. We'll also be adding more Windows 8 games as time goes by and we've got time to apply some fixes to more of the classic games in the catalog."

We reached out to GOG for an official list of the 431 compatible games, but they told us it's easier to list the games that aren't Windows 8 compatible. We've dropped that list after the break.

It's offering six of Telltales' episodes-bundled games at 80 percent off, while the site's entire Interplay catalog's going at half-price.

The Telltale offer covers Sam & Max: Season One, Two, and Three, Wallace & Gromit's Grand Adventures, Back to the Future: The Game, and Tales of Monkey Island. Each game can be bought separately at 80 percent off, but for the record they total in at a measly $34.94. The offer's good until the clock strikes midnight ET on November 13.

Whereas you've got an extra three days for the other offer, which slashes 50 percent off all 32 Interplay games in the site's catalog. They include Fallout 1, 2, and Tactics, both MDK games, and the once-controversial Kingpin: Life of Crime. Incidentally, hip hop superstars Cypress Hill supplied the soundtrack for Kingpin. The group's music was all over the game including the official trailer, an ad it somehow-well-not-really got away with back in 1999.

Good Old Games is expanding to include not only Mac games, but PC games for Mac. Right now GOG has 50 games available for Mac, 28 of which are only on GOG. Games include: Syndicate, the Ultima and Wing Commander franchises, The Witcher 2 (all out for the first time on Mac today), Machinarium, FTL, Syndicate, Sim City 2000, Dungeon Keeper, Tiny and Big: Grandpa's Leftovers and Crusader: No Remorse. GOG is hosting a Mac sale today, which includes The Witcher Enhanced Edition, Crusader: No Remorse, Theme Hospital, Little Big Adventure, Postal Classic and Uncut, and Simcity 2000 for half off.

All GOG games are hybrid, meaning both Mac and PC versions come for one price: Buy it for PC, own it for Mac and vice versa. GOG hosts a native OS X downloader app as well. For a company built on old games, GOG is certainly keeping tabs on the current trends. Not only is it selling new indies (and Witcher games), now the retailer has announced its first pay-what-you-want bundle.

The bundle, available until October 18, provides Divine Divinity, Beyond Divinity, and Divinity 2 Developer's Cut for as much as you feel like paying. Provided it's at least $21 - early access to the Developer's Cut comes only at that level, and Beyond Divinity is similarly withheld for below-average payments.

"This year Larian celebrates the 10th anniversary of our Divinity RPG series, and we're happy to partner up with GOG.com in order to put the whole collection at the mercy of our community," Larian CEO Swen Vincke said. "We've always been thankful for the unceasing support that our players have provided over the years and we'll gladly welcome any and all newcomers!"

If you already love Divinity games and feel like paying a set price, Larian has also announced a Divinity Anthology box, with the same games and lots of extras.

But if you want some vintage 'Geddon, you'll be able to get that too - the original game, and its "Splat Pack" expansion, are coming to digital retailer GOG.com in "the coming months."

The bundle will cost $9.99 if you want to buy it outright; it'll also be available for free to anyone who kicked in $25 or more to the Reincarnation Kickstarter, presumably under the assumption that people who like Carmageddon would like Carmageddon.

The Longest Journey's sequel, Dreamfall, open world shooter Far Cry 2, and Remedy's Alan Wake's American Nightmare have arrived on the service, and are now available at $15 or less.

Other recent updates include a few other, properly old games like Torin's Passage, the Quest for Glory series, and Silver.

Alan Wake is priced at $14.99 until 8:59pm GMT on May 15, while American Nightmare is $13.49 - or, if you already own Alan Wake or purchase both games at once, $11.24.

For the rest of this weekend, GOG is slashing prices on 1C Company's line of classics, which includes Space Rangers, Star Wolves, Fantasy Wars and Fantasy Brigade: Star Battles in Space. Each is half-off until May 14 at 3:59am GMT.

Oh, and two more: You may now possess Ubisoft's, Tom Clancy's, Clint Hocking's Splinter Cell; and Anomaly: Warzone Earth, the reverse tower defense game that was most recently ported to Xbox Live Arcade.
