With the first footage we've seen of the Wii's <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/alone-in-the-dark"><em>Alone in the Dark</em></a> in action, the game's producer, Maxime Loppin, shows off the title to <a href="http://www.jeuxvideo.com/news/2008/00025662-alone-in-the-dark-reportage-a-new-york-partie-3.htm">JeuxVideo</a>. To be honest, we know next to nothing of what Monsieur Loppin is saying, but sometimes actions speak louder than words.<br /><br />After the break we've embedded footage of Loppin playing the game (he starts around 1:57). A nice touch: by moving the Wiimote and nunchuk away from each other in a "coat opening motion" players can view Carnby's inventory, which he conveniently keeps inside his coat. And if anyone is feeling super ambitious and wants to translate, be our guest.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/04/28/alone-in-the-dark-producer-shows-wii-controls-and-gameplay/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Alone in the Dark producer shows Wii controls and gameplay</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/04/28/alone-in-the-dark-producer-shows-wii-controls-and-gameplay/">Alone in the Dark producer shows Wii controls and gameplay</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 28 Apr 2008 12:30:00 EST. French gaming site Jeux France has what it claims is the first images of the new <em>NiGHTS </em>title for Wii, from magazine scans of Portuguese magazine Maxi Consola. (We're so multicultural.) So far, NiGHTS has been an extremely <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/nights">persistent rumor</a>; this is the either the first concrete evidence of the title's existence or the cleverest Photoshop effort to date.<br /><br />The magazine scans feature an interview with Takashi Iizuka (here written Takeshi), a Sega developer who's had a <a href="http://www.mobygames.com/developer/sheet/view/developerId,43208/">hand</a> <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Takashi_Iizuka_(game_designer)">or two</a> in every Sonic game since 1994 as well as the original <em>NiGHTS Into Dreams</em>. Our Portuguese is a bit pathetic, but <a href="http://www.play-nintendo.com/playnintendo/content.php?content_id=809">Play Nintendo</a> has translated the interview. The game is purported to have a two player mode and some online capabilities. Jeux France purports that Sega will make an announcement early April.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/03/30/nights-wii-screens-interview-found-in-portuguese-game-mag/">NiGHTS Wii screens, interview found in Portuguese game mag</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 30 Mar 2007 17:15:00 EST. Bandai-Namco is adding yet another excellent <em>Tales</em> game to the PSP library, which continues to expand, much to the anguish of American PSP owners. <a href="http://www.jeux-france.com/news18320_tales-of-destiny-2-se-devoile.html">Jeux France</a> has tons of new screenshots of <em>Tales of Destiny 2</em>, a port of the popular PlayStation 2 RPG. Unlike <em>Tales of the World</em>, this game features some old school 2D graphics. However, with large, eye-catching sprites, and some cool battle animations, <em>ToD 2</em> will most likely look quite stunning on the portable screen. Expect it to hit Japan in 2007, and potentially never come out in the US. French website <a href="http://www.jeux-france.com/news17286_jeanne-d-arc-fait-le-plein-d-images.html">Jeux France</a> has scored <em>tons</em> of new pictures of the upcoming PSP-exclusive <em>Jeanne d'Arc</em>. As you may know, we at PSP Fanboy are highly anticipating this game, and by looking at <em>your</em> comments to the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2006/07/22/jeanne-darc-trailer-shows-incredible-production-values/">official trailer</a>, it looks like you guys can't wait either. Hopefully, SCEA will get off their butts and announce a US version of this incredible-looking game soon.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2006/09/04/jeanne-darc-continues-to-impress/">Jeanne d'Arc continues to impress</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 04 Sep 2006 17:00:00 EST.
