It will also include the game, but when you have an encyclopedia and some comic books, what self-respecting nerd needs video games?<br /><br />The<em> Ubiworkshop Edition</em> is for Xbox 360 and PS3 and costs $100 in a special pre-order price, valid through July 4, and $110 following that <em>completely random day</em>, exclusively on <a href="http://store.ubiworkshop.com/assassins-creed-iii-collector-ubiworkshop-edition/">Ubiworkshop</a>. Ubisoft promises this edition includes more than 500 pages of narrative content: The encyclopedia alone runs $50 and each comic is $20 separately on Ubiworkshop, so on top of a $60 game, this edition is a <em>steal</em>.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/05/31/assassins-creed-3-ubiworkshop-edition-has-500-pages-for-100/">Assassin's Creed 3 Ubiworkshop Edition has 500 pages for $100</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 31 May 2012 12:30:00 EST. Interactive Entertainment and NetherRealm Studios have just unveiled <em>Injustice: Gods Among Us</em>, which is a superhero fighting game set in the DC Universe. Based on the <a href="http://www.gamespot.com/injustice-gods-among-us/videos/injustice-gods-among-us-announcement-trailer-6379451/?tag=Topslot;InjusticeGodsAmongUs;TrailerFirstLookAtT">debut trailer</a> above, it appears as though something has turned the Earth's greatest heroes into the Earth's deadliest villains, who are now pitted against each other in mortal combat.<br /><br />Spotted characters include Batman, Superman, the Flash, Wonder Woman, Harley Quinn (!!), Lex Luthor and Solomon Grundy, all of whom seem capable of delivering incredible amounts of damage to one another. Injustice: Gods Among Us will launch for on the PS3, 360 and Wii U sometime in 2013.<br /><br /><strong>Update</strong>: <em>Injustice</em>'s character roster is split into two categories: "Power" characters like Superman and Wonder Woman, and "Gadget" characters like the Batman and (presumably) Harley Quinn. Depending on a character's class, they'll be able to interact with the environment in different ways. Batman may be able to slam Wonder Woman's head into a parked car, for instance, while Wonder Woman is able to slam a parked car into Batman's head.<br /><br />Environmental hazards are set to play a major role in the game, adding a bonus level of strategy to each character match-up, according to <a href="http://www.gamespot.com/injustice-gods-among-us/videos/injustice-gods-among-us-interview-w-ed-boon-6379456/?tag=Topslot;InjusticeGodsAmongUs;InterviewEdBoonTalks">this video interview</a> with NetherRealm's Ed Boon: "You're really going to want to care where you are, in which background, with which character."<br /><br />Additionally, the debut trailer clearly shows the Flash narrowly avoiding a massive icicle, which may be a strong indicator of the presence of either <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Captain_Cold">Captain Cold</a> or Mr. Freeze. <em>Injustice</em> will have "at least as many" fighters as <em>Mortal Kombat</em>, according to <a href="http://www.gamespot.com/injustice-gods-among-us/previews/batman-vs-superman-who-wins-6379457/?tag=Topslot;InjusticeGodsAmongUs;PreviewBatmanVsSupe">Gamespot</a>.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/05/31/warner-bros-announces-injustice-gods-among-us-a-new-dc-fighti/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Warner Bros. announces Injustice: Gods Among Us, a new DC fighting game from NetherRealm [Update!]</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/05/31/warner-bros-announces-injustice-gods-among-us-a-new-dc-fighti/">Warner Bros. announces Injustice: Gods Among Us, a new DC fighting game from NetherRealm [Update!]</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 31 May 2012 10:22:00 EST. The first trailer for the upcoming "Dawnguard" DLC went live this morning, care of Bethesda's Twitter account, which noted, "E3 arrives early!"<br /><br />The trailer shows off some incredible additions to <em>Skyrim</em>, including winged creatures and giant vortexes and ... there's kind of a lot going on in this trailer, is what we're trying to say. Sony also promises tweaks like simpler calibration, more opportunities to customize your avatar, and multiple user profiles.<br /><br />The new "Party Play" mode lets users set playlists of matches, then compete for score. "You can create your own match playlist, see photos and voices from each player during the game, and draw something humiliating (or nice!) on the hapless loser," says producer Jeremy Ray. He probably means in the game. You <em>always</em> had the option of drawing on your friends.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/05/31/sports-champions-2-takes-a-victory-lap-on-ps-move-this-fall/">Sports Champions 2 takes a victory lap on PS Move this fall</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 31 May 2012 10:00:00 EST. Seriously, we've written this piece, like, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/11/04/no-doubt-suing-activision-for-band-hero-circus-act-appearance/">three</a> <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/04/16/activision-fails-to-have-no-doubt-lawsuit-dismissed/">times</a> <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/02/18/no-doubts-activision-lawsuit-can-go-to-the-next-level/">already</a>. This story is bananas.<br /><br /><em>Sorry.</em><br /><br />No Doubt, the rock band led by singer Gwen Stefani, sued Activision in 2009, claiming it was used to create a "virtual karaoke circus act;" No Doubt says it only signed off on having its likeness portrayed singing its own songs, but the band is unlockable to play through the game's complete catalog.<br /><br />A Superior Court judge has denied Activision's attempt to dismiss claims from the case, including fraud, violation of publicity rights and breach of contract, and it is expected to (finally) go to trial later this year. Activision says it has a video recording of No Doubt being told about the unlockable features and it is looking forward to presenting its defense.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/05/30/no-doubt-vs-activision-lawsuit-cleared-for-trial-later-this-year/">No Doubt vs Activision lawsuit cleared for trial later this year</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 30 May 2012 23:00:00 EST. That is no longer the case, however, as Sony's internal machinations decided that internet connections the world over are too inconsistent to sufficiently support a console incompatible with traditional physical media. Relying entirely on some future version of the PlayStation Network for distribution could potentially cripple the console in countries with less developed networking infrastructure.<br /><br />It's also possible that Sony has learned a valuable lesson from its first foray into download-only gaming, the monumentally unsuccessful <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/psp-go">PSP Go</a>. The Go's inability to play previously purchased UMD games, coupled with the fact that new releases hit the device weeks after they hit retail and that the system itself was more expensive than the comparatively more functional PSP-3000 spelled doom for the handheld.<br /><br />The next PlayStation, in whatever form it ends up taking, is supposedly set to launch in 2013 with components built by AMD, according to the Wall Street Journal's sources. We've reached out to Sony for comment.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/05/30/report-sony-considered-download-only-console-thought-better-of/">Report: Sony considered download-only console, thought better of it</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 30 May 2012 18:30:00 EST. "Four-point holds work really well for game balance, but I was worried that beginners couldn't pull off mid kick holds," Shimbori tweeted. "But all of the feedback we got from players with the Alpha Demo gave me the final nudge to go with four-point."<br /><br />The demo in question, distributed as a pre-order bonus and included in collector's editions of <em>Ninja Gaiden 3</em>, used a three-point grab system similar to <em>Dead or Alive 3</em>'s. It's nice to know that Team Ninja still has time to think about <em>DoA5</em>'s design from a balancing standpoint in between implementing costume-specific breast physics and integrating helicopter missiles into gameplay.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/05/30/dead-or-alive-5-to-use-a-doa4-style-four-point-hold-system/">Dead or Alive 5 to use a DOA4-style four-point hold system</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 30 May 2012 15:00:00 EST. Insomniac head (and general nice dude) Ted Price took to the <a href="http://blog.us.playstation.com/2012/05/30/ratchet-clank-full-frontal-assault-coming-to-psn-this-fall/">US PlayStation Blog</a> this afternoon to announce "Ratchet &amp; Clank: Full Frontal Assault" for PlayStation Network, alongside plans to launch the game "this holiday season."<br /><br />Aside from the artwork you see above and the logo we've dropped in the gallery below, Price offered few details on the game. He said it'll be a "fun-sized" R&amp;C title (like <em>Ratchet &amp; Clank Future: Quest for Booty</em> before it), and that the game will return to "the series' classic feel, camera, controls, and weapons, while innovating and giving you a whole new way to play." What that <em>means</em> is another question altogether. Price also said that the game will feature online co-op, but kept details similarly slim.<div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/ratchet-and-clank-full-frontal-assault/">Ratchet &amp; Clank: Full Frontal Assault</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/ratchet-and-clank-full-frontal-assault/#5054184"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2012/05/ratchetclankfa01_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/ratchet-and-clank-full-frontal-assault/#5054185"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2012/05/ratchetclankfalogo_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/05/30/ratchet-and-clank-full-frontal-assault-is-insomniacs-next-psn-ga/">Ratchet &amp; Clank: Full Frontal Assault is Insomniac's next PSN game, arriving this fall</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 30 May 2012 12:30:00 EST. The service apparently costs $50 one time and includes a variety of content, including access to the five released and upcoming <em>Battlefield 3</em> expansion packs, two weeks of early access to said packs, and "a host of unique in-game items not available anywhere else."<br /><br />That, however, is where the "interesting" part of this ends, and the "pretty gross" part begins. Beyond the DLC access, Premium members are said to get "access to powerful new features." What features might those be? "The ability to reset stats" is listed, but so is "queue priority into servers," which means exactly what it sounds like. As in, "pay for this service and get into servers faster than the rabble."<br /><br />The fact sheet reconfirms what we saw <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/05/30/battlefield-3-premium-service-dated-for-june-4-alongside-clo/">leak out of the EU PlayStation Blog</a> earlier today - <em>Battlefield 3</em> "Premium" is expected to launch alongside the "Close Quarters" DLC on June 4 across Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. Head past the break to see the full sheet.<br /><br /><strong>Update:</strong> EA tells Joystiq, "Looks like the excitement for Battlefield Premium cannot be contained. For details, please visit Battlefield.com on June 4." We'd suggest you check out Joystiq.com on June 4 as well. <em>Just a guess</em>.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/05/30/report-battlefield-3-premium-service-costs-50-one-time-incl/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Report: Battlefield 3 'Premium' service costs $50 one time, includes 'all five themed expansion packs'</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/05/30/report-battlefield-3-premium-service-costs-50-one-time-incl/">Report: Battlefield 3 'Premium' service costs $50 one time, includes 'all five themed expansion packs'</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 30 May 2012 12:10:00 EST. Entitled "Dead Space Graphic Novel Short," the video showcases the story of John Carver, an Earthgov Seargent, as he "witnesses an attack on the Marker Site he guards which changes his life forever." There's also a countdown on the site - coded in Dead Space's alien language - set to expire in six days. Electronic Arts' E3 press conference, meanwhile, is set to take place on Monday, curiously only <em>five</em> days away.<br /><br />Despite the video's title, there's reason to believe this is all tied to <a href="http://joystiq.com/game/dead-space-3"><em>Dead Space 3</em></a>. As noticed by fans on the <a href="http://www.facebook.com/deadspace/posts/362732430449187">Dead Space Facebook page</a>, the website's source code contains numerous references to "ds3." The site adds that this is "just the start of John Carver's saga in the Dead Space Universe," implying that something grander than merchandising is on the way. Perhaps Carver is a new protagonist? One way or another, we'll find out next week.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/05/30/new-dead-space-video-pops-up-signs-point-to-dead-space-3/">New Dead Space video pops up, signs point to Dead Space 3</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 30 May 2012 11:30:00 EST. In the gameplay department, a "new check point save system" is being added, and the ever-frustrating flashlight issue is being resolved with "the new armor-mounted flashlight." If that weren't enough, the BFG Edition includes both <em>Doom 1 </em>and <em>2</em>, so you can truly vanquish every single last demon in all of the space hells, all in one package. Warner Bros. Interactive's Monolith Productions is crafting the Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit-themed MOBA, and the studio plans on launching the game this fall (ahead of this December's film, <em>The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey</em>).<br /><br />According to the announcement, 10 players will battle in five-on-five matches set against the backdrop of Middle-earth. Various Lord of the Rings bulletpoints will be hit, of course, with characters like Gollum and Sauron available for fighting (as "Guardians" - think <em>League of Legends</em>' "Hero" characters). We'll assuredly get a closer look at the game next week during E3.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/05/30/lord-of-the-rings-meets-moba-in-xbla-psn-guardians-of-middle-ea/">Lord of the Rings meets MOBA in XBLA/PSN 'Guardians of Middle-earth' from F.E.A.R. devs</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 30 May 2012 10:00:00 EST. The game's upcoming DLC pack "Close Quarters" also got a date and price: June 4, &pound;11.99/&euro;14.99/AU$23.95.<br /><br />As you might imagine, someone at Sony quickly realized the issue and pulled the info ... but not before Google Cache caught it in its icy, permanent grip. We've reached out to EA and Sony for more info, but it sounds like the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/05/14/rumor-ea-to-reveal-cod-elite-like-service-for-battlefield-3-at/">rumored Call of Duty Elite-esque service</a> for <em>Battlefield 3</em> is more than just a rumor.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/05/30/battlefield-3-premium-service-dated-for-june-4-alongside-clo/">Battlefield 3 'Premium' service dated for June 4, alongside 'Close Quarters' DLC pack</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 30 May 2012 09:30:00 EST. Gametrailers, whom Beiswenger sued in the same case, settled with the author on May 18 under undisclosed terms.<br /><br />Beiswenger voluntarily dismissed all action against Ubisoft before any formal adjudication on the validity of his claims could begin - <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/05/09/novelist-suing-over-assassins-creed-has-his-lawyer-respond-to-g/">the Internet</a> made up its mind about his claims a while ago. Beiswenger has dropped the case, citing the expense of federal litigation:<br /><br />"I filed the Complaint and Motion for Preliminary Injunction in federal court because I believe authors should vigorously defend their rights in their creative works; otherwise, the laws protecting them simply have no purpose," Beiswenger's official statement reads. "Regrettably, the resources required to defend those rights are unavailable to many individual creators. As a result, rampant infringement is occurring with impunity."<br /><br />Beiswenger was seeking $5.25 million in damages and the potential cessation of all Assassin's Creed endeavors, including the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/assassins-creed-3">third game</a> currently due out in October. Beiswenger filed the dismissal "without prejudice," meaning he can pick up the claims and the case again in the future.<br /><br />If he ever does, we don't think Ubisoft will sweat it too much; the Internet has already done most of the <a href="http://www.amazon.com/Link-Beiswenger-John-L/product-reviews/0741413485/ref=cm_cr_dp_see_all_btm?ie=UTF8&amp;showViewpoints=1&amp;sortBy=bySubmissionDateDescending">debunking</a> already, unless Beiswenger can somehow prove that he owns the rights to "spiritual and biblical tones" or "assassinations."<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/05/29/lawsuit-alleging-copyright-infringement-in-assassins-creed-drop/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Lawsuit alleging copyright infringement in Assassin's Creed dropped, Gametrailers settles</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/05/29/lawsuit-alleging-copyright-infringement-in-assassins-creed-drop/">Lawsuit alleging copyright infringement in Assassin's Creed dropped, Gametrailers settles</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 29 May 2012 20:40:00 EST. The DLC is part of the<em> <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/batman-arkham-city">Batman: Arkham City</a></em> Game of the Year Edition, which includes previous packs featuring Catwoman, Nightwing and Robin.<br /><br />Harley Quinn's Revenge is a plotty affair, beginning with players as Robin as he tracks down Batman, who has gone missing after <em>Arkham City</em>'s final moments. Control shifts between Robin and Batman, but is contained to the DLC's world and any previously released challenge maps.<br /><br />We assume the closed-world setting is a metaphor for the psychological cage that Harley constructed during her time with The Joker, but hey, we're not the psychiatrists here. <em>She </em>is.<br /><br /><strong>Update:</strong> Yes, it looks like Harley has made her way to Xbox 360 today as well. Also, Spoiler: There are clownish thugs in Harley Quinn's Revenge.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/05/29/psa-harley-quinns-revenge-begins-today-on-psn/">PSA: Harley Quinn's Revenge begins today on PSN and Xbox 360 [Update]</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 29 May 2012 16:30:00 EST. Nope, <em>Snapshot</em>'s been kicking around indie game festivals and such for quite some time (since at least 2009, if not earlier), though we now know that <em>Snapshot</em>'s being developed for PSN on both PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.<br /><br />In <em>Snapshot</em>, you follow a little robot named (appropriately enough), "Pic," as he ventures across a puzzle-filled 2D world. By snapping square photos of the environment, Pic can alter the world around him - "taking photographs of light and using it to interact with physics" and momentum-based puzzles are both given as examples of <em>Snapshot</em>'s gameplay twist.<br /><br />The game's a Sony exclusive (at least for now), with cross-platform save functionality built-in, and it's expected some time this fall. Check out the latest trailer just above - it's quite pretty!<div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/snapshot-psn/">Snapshot (PS3/Vita)</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/snapshot-psn/#5052276"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2012/05/snapshot01_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/snapshot-psn/#5052277"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2012/05/snapshot02_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/snapshot-psn/#5052278"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2012/05/snapshot03_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/snapshot-psn/#5052279"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2012/05/snapshot04_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/snapshot-psn/#5052280"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2012/05/snapshot05_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/05/29/snapshot-training-amateur-photogs-on-ps3-and-vita-this-fall/">Snapshot training amateur photogs on PS3 and Vita this fall</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 29 May 2012 16:00:00 EST. How likely? <em>Pretty freakin' likely</em>, especially considering the recently discovered group of domain registrations from Sony Computer Entertainment of America tied to URLs like "PlaystationAllStarsVita.com," "PS-AllStarsVita.com," and "PSAllStarsBattleRoyaleVita.com."<br /><br />As with so many of these discoveries, <a href="https://twitter.com/#!/supererogatory">Superannuation</a> spotted the URLs - URLs that pretty clearly identify a Vita-based version of the brawler. We'll be saying this a lot this week, so get used to it: we've reached out to Sony for more info, but only got "we don't comment on rumor or speculation" in return. We expect more info next week during E3.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/05/29/smattering-of-playstation-all-stars-battle-royale-vita-domains-r/">Smattering of PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale Vita domains registered by Sony</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 29 May 2012 15:00:00 EST. The reason for the delay was not disclosed. When reached for comment, a Namco Bandai representative informed Joystiq that the title is still slated for a <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/03/05/inversion-flipping-out-in-north-america-on-june-5-june-8-in-eur/">June 5 launch</a> in North America. Whatever the reason, it looks like Europe, at least, will have to wait just a bit longer to shoot baddies while walking on the ceiling.<br /><br />This marks the second delay for <em>Inversion</em>, which saw its original February release date pushed back earlier this year.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/05/29/inversion-delayed-to-july-in-europe-still-on-track-in-us/">Inversion delayed to July in Europe, still on track in US</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 29 May 2012 13:00:00 EST. Feel free to read the book on the <a href="http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:2920,_Hearth_Fire,_v9">Unofficial Elder Scrolls wiki</a>.<br /><br />Other trademarks recently filed by the company include last month's "Dragonborn" and April's "<a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/04/11/zenimax-files-fus-ro-dah-trademarks-uspto-cowers-behind-desk/">FUS RO DAH</a>." The game has been spotted in Danish retail listings, specifically a <a href="https://www.coolshop.dk/catalog/product/63793-witcher_rise_of_the_white_wolf_ps3">PS3 listing</a> at CoolShop and both <a href="http://www.blockbuster.dk/the-witcher-rise-of-the-white-wolf-1.html">PS3</a> and <a href="http://www.blockbuster.dk/the-witcher-rise-of-the-white-wolf.html">Xbox</a> listings at Blockbuster. Neither site has a release date listed, though each advises eager fans to place pre-orders now. (If you're looking for a deal, go with CoolShop to save a <em>cool</em> 100 krone.)<br /><br />Witcher fans will remember <em>Rise of the White Wolf</em> as the console-specific version of CD Projekt's first Witcher game. It was slated to feature completely reworked controls for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, though the project was <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/04/29/ding-dong-the-console-witcher-is-dead-for-now/">canceled in April of 2009</a>. At the time, developer Widescreen Games complained of missed payments, while publisher CD Projekt claimed that all milestone payments had been made to Widescreen.<br /><br />CD Projekt Red's Summer Conference is slated to take place tomorrow, and <a href="http://www.facebook.com/thewitcher/posts/441741042521561">promises a major announcement</a>. That announcement, however, will <em>not</em> be <em>Rise of the White Wolf</em>, reports <a href="http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2012-05-29-witcher-2-dev-to-reveal-first-details-on-second-triple-a-rpg-tomorrow">Eurogamer</a>. CD Projekt told the site that it will instead be announcing its next RPG, which was <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/05/12/cd-projekt-red-hiring-for-rpg-in-a-brand-new-setting/">revealed</a> in recent job listings. That said, the company does have some Witcher-related "surprises" planned for this year and next year.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/05/29/witcher-rise-of-the-white-wolf-spotted-on-retail-sites-for-xbox/">Witcher: Rise of the White Wolf spotted on retail sites for Xbox, PS3</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 29 May 2012 11:00:00 EST. It's on sale for $29.99, and will be joined by a new, temporary deal every couple of hours.<br /><br />Currently, that deal is the Wii's Cyberbike, which is, yes, an exercise bike that hooks up to the Wii. <a href="http://thriftynerd.com/2012/05/amazon-lightning-deals-for-5-29-12/">Thrifty Nerd's</a> Googling of the clues for future sales suggest we'll see discounts on <em>Final Fantasy XIII-2, WoW: Cataclysm</em>, the <em>Disgaea 4</em> Premium Edition, and even the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/02/03/video-review-mad-catz-arcade-fightstick-soul-edition/">SoulCalibur V Arcade Fightstick</a>.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/05/29/prototype-2-30-at-amazon-gold-box-deals-all-day/">Prototype 2 $30 at Amazon, Gold Box deals all day</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 29 May 2012 09:30:00 EST. So good, it seems, that BioWare has decided to manufacture her designs and sell them to the public. Schott recently posted her designs, which reflect many of Mass Effect's most popular characters, and her work inspired BioWare to reach out with the offer.<br /><br />Schott does note that her designs are likely "nowhere near the final product" and that BioWare will be redesigning them before selling a selection of them as a trial run. BioWare is compensating Schott for her work, though the details are still being "worked out." Frankly, we just want to know when we can get our Mordin on.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/05/28/bioware-to-sell-fan-designed-mass-effect-hoodies/">BioWare to sell fan-designed Mass Effect hoodies</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 28 May 2012 23:00:00 EST.
