This <a href="http://joystiq.com/game/donkey-kong-country-returns"><em>Donkey Kong Country Returns</em></a> diorama perfectly captures the essence of the game: DK and Diddy are bravely attempting to grab a puzzle piece, and are about to be killed by an annoying enemy.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/04/20/donkey-kong-country-returns-in-papercraft-form/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Donkey Kong Country Returns in papercraft form</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/04/20/donkey-kong-country-returns-in-papercraft-form/">Donkey Kong Country Returns in papercraft form</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 20 Apr 2011 00:00:00 EST. Well, here we are. Until someone builds an entire, sustainable city out of construction paper and tissues, we're pretty sure we've witnessed the ultimate opus from the papercraft community: A life-size model of <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/no-more-heroes"><em>No More Heroes</em></a> hero, Travis Touchdown. Check out this masterfully intricate, somewhat-upsetting-in-a-Max-Headroom-kind-of-way statue over on <a href="http://www.instructables.com/id/Life-Size-Paper-Travis-Touchdown/">Instructables</a>.<br />
<br />
While we know Travis Touchdown is a total dreamboat, we wouldn't recommend creating one of these on your own for <em>carnal purposes</em>. See, there'd be two major problems with that:<br />
<ol>
	<li>
		Papercuts</li>
	<li>
		That's really gross</li>

If you just can't get enough <a href="http://joystiq.com/game/minecraft"><em>Minecraft</em></a> -- and, let's face it, you <em>can't</em> -- then these <a href="http://www.minecraftforum.net/viewtopic.php?f=3&amp;t=20288&amp;p=621386&amp;hilit=papercraft">adorable papercraft models</a> are for you! As an added bonus, the models are so simple and boxy that there's no way you'll super glue your fingers together trying to make a <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/10/17/today-in-joystiq-october-17-2007/"><em>stupid</em>, <em>impossible-to-build</em> Companion Cube</a>.<br />

<div style="text-align: left;">It's our sincere hope that if the Super Mario Bros. ever actually did show up in our world, they wouldn't look <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super_Mario_Bros._%28film%29">anything like Bob Hoskins and John Leguizamo</a> -- instead, we'd really prefer they look something like what you see above: Two papercraft statues <a href="http://touchfuzzygetdizzy.deviantart.com/art/Super-Smash-Brothers-164509728?q=&amp;qo=">put together by DeviantArt-ist TouchFuzzyGetDizzy</a>. Definitely click the Source link below to see these guys as big as possible. The actual statues are 40 and 50 centimeters tall, and with the detail on them, you're probably looking at quite a bit of paper.<br />
<br />
If you want to try cutting, folding, and pasting them together yourself, you're welcome to -- the creator has uploaded patterns of each, though he warns that there are no instructions to go along with them yet. Elsewhere in his gallery, you can see <a href="http://touchfuzzygetdizzy.deviantart.com/art/SSBB-Luigi-Angles-164509700?q=gallery%3ATouchFuzzyGetDizzy%2F10254799&amp;qo=12">more angles of Luigi</a>, as well as models of <a href="http://touchfuzzygetdizzy.deviantart.com/art/Aryll-161963344?q=gallery%3ATouchFuzzyGetDizzy%2F10254799&amp;qo=18">Aryll</a> and <a href="http://touchfuzzygetdizzy.deviantart.com/art/Salvatore-161198261?q=gallery%3ATouchFuzzyGetDizzy%2F10254799&amp;qo=22">Salvatore</a> from <a href="http://joystiq.com/tag/the-legend-of-zelda-wind-waker"><em>The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker</em></a>. In anticipation of the chiptune-soaked, sidescrolling action game starring Commander Video, Gaijin posted the template for this papercraft <em>Runner</em> diorama. <br />
<br />
If you throw it across the room, it'll kind of look like the game in motion! But there's no way we'd ever do that after spending hours meticulously cutting, folding, and gluing this model together. In fact, we're just going to get some of that puzzle glue to drench this with.<br />
<br />
If you like building papercraft <em>Bit.Trip</em> models, there's a <a href="http://www.gaijingames.com/?p=968">Commander Video</a>, too, also created by Paper Foldables.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/05/12/run-to-your-printer-for-bit-trip-runner-papercraft/">Run to your printer for Bit.Trip Runner papercraft</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 12 May 2010 15:14:00 EST. Although <em>this horse</em> was in a box, so the elaborate ruse really didn't play into my acceptance of the item. And thankfully, the cartridge didn't murder me after emerging. As has become the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/08/11/professor-layton-and-the-real-diabolical-box/">company's</a> <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/12/01/the-real-life-treasure-of-zelda-spirit-tracks/">custom</a> of <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/08/07/nintendo-sends-us-odd-fossil-fighters-package/">late</a>, Nintendo cutely packaged its review copy of <em>Glory of Heracles</em> with the cartridge hidden away inside the papercraft horse.<br />
<br />
Along with the horse and the empty game case, Nintendo sent a scroll -- a letter from the immortal Greek demigod himself, exhorting us to retrieve the cartridge and help him regain his memories. <br />
<br />
Embark upon a <em>grand looking-at-pictures adventure</em> in our gallery. Does anyone else find it hilarious and kind of adorable to imagine Nintendo PR staff carefully cutting, folding and gluing a bunch of papercraft horses?<br />

<div style="text-align: left;">It's been a busy week over at WoW.com and in the <em>WoW </em>world. We've heard from our sources late last week that the <a href="http://www.wow.com/2010/01/09/cataclysm-friends-and-family-alpha-to-begin-tuesday/">internal friends and family alpha</a> will be beginning for the next <em>World of Warcraft</em> expansion, <a href="http://wow.com/cataclysm"><em>Cataclysm</em></a>. And while this has lots of people excited, chances are <a href="http://www.wow.com/2010/01/10/you-are-not-invited-to-the-cataclysm-alpha/">you probably will never get in</a> -- unless you know someone. <br />
<br />
There were also lots of other interesting stories this past week, from the <em>WoW </em>movie being pushed up thanks to Spider-Man's demise, to security holes and care packages, to papercrafts that prove none of us have any real artistic talent.<br />

Our grandmother had this saying, "Handicrafts make for strange bedfellows." In fact, she believed in it so much she once stitched the saying into a pillow she made from the skin of drifters she had lured into her home and killed. True, you don't normally think "drifter murder" and "decorative pillows" as a pairing, so she had made her point. But we tried (and are still trying) to convince her that there are ways of stating her case that are both less illegal and involve less risk of contracting hepatitis C.<br />
<br />
... So we guess what we're saying is that our grandmother would probably be way into <a href="http://www.harlancore.com/blog/?p=1502">these <em>Brutal Legend</em> papercrafts</a>.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/11/11/brutal-legend-gets-papercrafted/">Brutal Legend gets papercrafted</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 11 Nov 2009 00:29:00 EST. If your fascination with the characters of the <em>Resident Evil </em>universe extends beyond the confines of each game, then you may like to know that <a href="http://www.cubeecraft.com/blog/resident-evil-darkside-chronicles-operation-javier-leon-and-krauser-now-available/">Cubeecraft</a> and <a href="http://www.capcom-europe.com/downloads">Capcom Europe</a> have teamed up to offer some papercraft versions of <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/resident-evil-the-darkside-chronicles"><em>Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles</em></a></em> characters. With little more than a printer, some paper and the ability to fold strategically, you can make miniaturized and highly flammable versions of your favorite characters, perfect for reenacting scenes from the games. Well, unless your favorite character is Steve Burnside. He's nowhere to be found, which may or may not be <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sAFO3FKoFw4">a really good thing</a>.<br /><br />[Via <a href="http://www.cubeecraft.com/blog/resident-evil-darkside-chronicles-operation-javier-leon-and-krauser-now-available/">Cubeecraft</a>]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/11/02/resident-evil-the-darkside-chronicles-cubecraft-is-sharp-around/">Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles cubecraft is sharp around the edges</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 02 Nov 2009 13:15:00 EST. Remember how frustrated you were when you tried to build that <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/05/13/papercraft-links-useless-against-dodongos/">tiny papercraft Link</a>? Yeah, well this guy made a <em>life-size</em> statue of Link ... <a href="http://www.papercraftmuseum.com/life-sized-link-images/">out of paper</a>. <em>Paper</em>. Just look at it. It's insanity. Seriously, if someone handed you a pile of card stock and asked you to build insanity, it would turn out like this. Sure, it's <em>awesome</em> and everything but ... damn.<br /> <br /> If you can feel your grip on reality slipping a little every day, then feel free to download the detailed plans to craft your own right <a href="http://www.papercraftmuseum.com/life-sized-link/">here</a>. You know, we often wonder why we don't have a large, flammable recreation of <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/wii-sports-resort"><em>Wii Sports Resort</em></a>'s Wuhu Island sitting on our desk, but then we remember most of our work is done while being chained to a laptop in some random dungeon in Philadelphia. While we may be starved for sunlight (not to mention just plain starving), seeing things like <a href="http://www.nintendopapercraft.com/2009/08/wii-sports-resort-wuhu-island.html">this piece of papercraft</a> gives us hope. Hope that we can make cheap pieces of art when we're finally so malnourished that we can slip out of our shackles. <br /><br />Hit up the gallery below for more Nintendo-inspired papercraft, including <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/awesome-nintendo-papercraft/803570/">this awesome Wolf Link</a>.<br />
<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/08/21/papercraft-recreates-wii-sports-resorts-wuhu-island/">Papercraft recreates Wii Sports Resort's Wuhu Island</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 21 Aug 2009 18:15:00 EST. It's one of the laws of the internet: When a popular game is released, the papercraft is not far behind, whether it's of a luminary like <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/06/08/weekly-webcomic-wrapup-has-a-snake-in-a-box/">Solid Snake</a> or everyday joes like <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/10/14/penny-arcade-adventures-on-the-rain-slick-precipice-of-papercra/">Gabe and Tycho</a>. Now, Faith of <em>Mirror's Edge</em> fame is getting the wood pulp facial (as no one calls it) courtesy of Robot Martini.<br /><br />As the state has relegated us to only safety scissors, we've never actually put one of these together. While we're awaiting the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/10/01/penny-arcade-adventures-ep-2-done-priced-at-15/">recently-completed</a>, more competitively-priced <em>Penny Arcade Adventures: Episode 2</em>, the official site has given us a way to bide our time. Introducing <a href="http://www.rainslick.com/papercraft">The Official <em>PAA </em>Papercraft[TM]</a>, which includes regulars Tycho, Gabe, Anne-Claire and Fruit ... erm, <em>Lover</em>. <br /><br />Also available are <em>Episode 2</em> foes Hat Spider, Asylum Patient and Dr. "I see you've been <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/penny-arcade-adventures-episode-2/1012174/full/">staring at my balls</a>" Wolfington (his balls are not currently available as papercraft). Fun fact: In a display of irony, should you find yourself surrounded by papercraft Fruit Lovers, the use of fruit juice will actually <em>harm</em> them. <br />

Geek crafts often start with things you can put on your own body, or on the "bodies" of the things you care about (like your DS!). From <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/11/16/wear-this-bob-omb-jewelry-at-a-safe-distance/">jewelry</a> to <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/07/17/more-fan-created-phoenix-wright-ace-apparel/">clothes</a> to <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/07/21/zombees-case-will-stay-in-your-head-in-your-head/">cases</a>, we've seen a lot of wearables in the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/category/show-and-tell/">history of Show and Tell</a>, so for the second week in our new format, it only seemed sensible to revisit one of the most popular types of fan-made objects. If you need a <em>thing</em> to put on another <em>thing</em>, you've come to the right place! <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/show-and-tell-wearables/985004/">Take a tour of our latest finds</a>, or dip directly into the gallery below.<br /><br /><br /><br />

We were a bit caught up in <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/Braid/">Braid</a></em> hysteria earlier this week, so we thought we'd table this post until the scalding heat of our passion cooled down a little bit ...<br /><br />And here we are! <em>Braid</em> artist David Hellman tipped us off to a pair of adorable <em>Braid</em>-themed papercraft projects depicting the game's time-manipulating hero Tim and his ubiquitous foe ... uh, Creature thing. Print out one of Tim, thirty of the Creature, figure out how to control the immutable march of time, then reenact all your favorite scenes.<br /><br />[Thanks, <a href="http://www.davidhellman.net/blog/braid-papercraft/">David</a>]<br /><br /><a href="http://www.cubeecraft.com/character076.html">Source</a> - Braid papercraft, Tim<br /><a href="http://www.cubeecraft.com/character077.html">Source</a> - Braid papercraft, Creature<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/08/14/control-time-err-tim-with-braid-papercraft/">Control Time ... err, Tim with Braid papercraft</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 14 Aug 2008 18:29:00 EST. The game <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/06/10/wii-fanboy-review-my-pokemon-ranch/">might not be very good</a>, but you can't argue with how cute the little critters look in <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/06/20/down-at-the-ranch-with-penny-arcade/"><em>My Pokemon Ranch</em></a>. The visual style is just incredibly adorable. Media Molecule is giving you something to do while you wait for the company's <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/littlebigplanet/"><em>LittleBigPlanet</em></a> to come out. They've suggested on their <a href="http://www.mediamolecule.com/blog/2008/07/10/sackboy-papercraft/">blog</a> that you should try a hand at making some Sackboy papercraft. <br /><br />Yep, papercraft is one step closer to having those <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/06/19/littlebigplanet-dev-chats-about-story-mode-adult-content-and-s/">adorable plushies</a>. Just one piece of advice: you can't squeeze papercraft with some TLC like you can a plushie; so be careful with your papercraft creation. Download the <a href="http://www.mediamolecule.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/07/sackboy_papercraft.pdf">high-res image here</a> and get started!<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/07/10/make-sackboy-papercraft-media-molecule-shows-how/">Make Sackboy papercraft, Media Molecule shows how</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 10 Jul 2008 12:30:00 EST. This is probably a bit old, but we never tire of game-related origami, especially for <em>Team Fortress 2</em>. A sentry gun and paperclip dispenser? Priceless. Instructions can be found in the <a href="http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=694162">middle of this forum page</a>. Don't forget it's a <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/06/19/reminder-tf2-pyro-update-now-available-free-to-play-this-weeke/">free <em>TF2 </em>weekend</a>. Even with <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/05/02/earthbound-gets-rated-by-the-esrb/">its ESRB rating</a>, we can't help but be skeptical about <span style="font-style: italic;">Earthbound</span> descending onto the Virtual Console. While we'd like nothing more, it seems too good to be true that Starmen.net's <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/05/08/a-history-of-zealous-earthbound-fandom/">hard-fought battle</a> to get the game on the VC would finally end in victory. As we've also mentioned, an ESRB rating <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/05/06/hudson-evaluating-north-american-vc-release-for-ys/">does not necessarily</a> equate to a Virtual Console release.<br /><br />Since all we can do now is wait and see, we have to find <span style="font-style: italic;">Earthbound</span> related ways to keep ourselves busy. Aside from playing games like <span style="font-style: italic;">Smash Bros</span>., we thought we'd try our hand at some <span style="font-style: italic;">Earthbound</span> cubeecraft (aka papercraft). Is it just us, or does Mr. Saturn look rather swank when shaped like a cube?<br /><br />

A papercraft version of level 1-1 from <em>Super Mario Bros.</em> recreated inside an actual Game Boy brick (no worries it was already broken). We can't help but point out in <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/senorwences/2308457168/in/pool-make">Camera Wences'</a> design, however, that the Game Boy was never in color and never has this version of <em>Mario Bros.</em> Oh well, we should've just called it a clever hack and made a <em>Paper Mario</em> joke. When our handhelds die, we tend to either put them up in the attic (our own little "console heaven"), or throw them across the room in a fit of rage, depending on the circumstances. Never are we as productive as <a href="http://joshburker.blogspot.com/2008/03/super-mario-shadow-box.html">Josh Burker</a>, though, who made an awesome housed diorama with his dead Game Boy.<br /><br />There's no big mystery to this beauty; it's simply a work of <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/papercraft/">papercraft</a> encased by a Game Boy shell (which Josh gutted himself). We know the papercraft is in color, so it's not an accurate artistic portrayal of the DS's portable ancestor, but the creativity and craft work put into this project are astonishing.<br /><br />Hmm, maybe our broken Game Boy is still in the attic somewhere ...<br /><br />[Via <a href="http://technabob.com/blog/2008/03/03/super-mario-is-super-shadowbox-art/">Technabob</a>]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/03/04/game-boy-makes-the-perfect-home-for-papercraft/">Game Boy makes the perfect home for papercraft</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 04 Mar 2008 15:00:00 EST. We're <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/02/07/boom-blox-dev-discusses-the-games-structure/">beginning</a> to <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/02/07/surfer-girl-gives-boom-blox-praise-as-we-continue-to-come-around/">warm</a> to the idea of a puzzle game based on knocking over a tower of blocks (or BLOX -- nah, <em>blocks)</em>. With certain blocks providing special effects (like 'splosions), and the ability to create and share your own structures, there might be a solid puzzler in here, or at least more than just a game about busting stacks of stuff. Plus the block characters are <em>really cute</em> -- so cute that someone has already been inspired to create a <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/papercraft/">papercraft</a> model of the rooster character. <br /><br />Are you slowly coming aboard the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/02/06/do-not-want-boom-blox/"><em>BOOM BLOX</em></a> not-quite-hype-but-at-least-not-disgust train? Have you always been down for some block booming? Or are you outraged that Steven Spielberg's concept for a Wii game doesn't seem to include much in the way of narrative?<br /><br /><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/02/08/wii-warm-up-blox-head/">Wii Warm Up: BLOX head</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 08 Feb 2008 09:00:00 EST. We find the <em>Team Fortress 2</em> <a href="http://www.bongo-papercraft.net/2008/02/pyro-instructions.html">Pyro papercraft</a> hilariously ironic, given how flammable we suspect him to be. (Disclaimer: Joystiq advises against the use of flames. There is no respawn in real life.) Wow. Just ... wow. That is an amazing piece of art and to think it is made from just paper. That's the kind of piece we would pay good money for, but lucky us we don't have to. See, the instructions to make our very own Thwomp (<em>Super Mario Galaxy</em> version) are available online. <br /><br />Any of you out there planning on making your own? Any of you successfully make one?<br /><br />[Via <a href="http://gonintendo.com/?p=30935">Go Nintendo</a>]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/12/10/this-thwomp-wont-crush-you/">This Thwomp won't crush you</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 10 Dec 2007 22:41:00 EST. Using the official Capcom <a href="http://www.court-records.net/art.htm">Phoenix Wright and Edgeworth papercrafts</a> as a template, some brilliant artist has expanded the <em>Phoenix Wright</em> papercraft universe with spot-on Damon Gant and Prosecutor Godot figures. Every detail is perfect, down to Gant's weird gloves (for which he is named) and Godot's ubiquitous coffee mug (<em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/10/23/metareview-phoenix-wright-trials-and-tribulations/">Phoenix Wright 3</a> spoiler: Godot enjoys coffee</em>).<br /><br />It is officially time for this genius to go <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/papercraft">papercraft</a> crazy </em>and make templates for every character in the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/11/16/can-capcoms-ace-attorney-contest-has-winnarz/"><em>Ace Attorney</em></a> universe, as well as a courtroom set. You know, so we can <strike>play with them</strike> display authentic recreations of our favorite scenes. Since all that ever happens is talking and pointing, these would be <em>perfect.</em><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/12/03/papercraft-is-awesome-thats-one-of-my-rules/">Papercraft is awesome. Over at <a href="http://paperartgadgets.blogspot.com/2007/10/complete-halo-3-papercraft-pack.html">Paper Art Gadgets</a> they've posted complete template downloads for you to create your own <em>Halo 3</em> Legendary Edition (stand and helmet included) or a <em>Halo 3</em> Xbox 360 in foldable paper form. The paper downloads can be downloaded <a href="http://www.mediafire.com/lyztlcgkt">right here</a>, but we are not responsible for crippled, carpal tunneled or injured fingers as a result of the tiny paper folding you'll have to go through to create your own Legendary helmet. And, if possible, wear the proper finger protection. We've seen far too many lives ruined as a result of horrendous paper cuts.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/10/26/build-it-yourself-a-paper-halo-3-legendary-edition/">Build it yourself, a paper Halo 3 Legendary Edition</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 26 Oct 2007 17:00:00 EST. Here we are, delivering this exquisite Master Chief papercraft to you complete with instructions, and the only people who would likely take the time to replicate something like this are, you know, playing <em>Halo 3. </em>Bitter irony, thy name is papercraft.<br /><br />Luckily, the artist's work does not have to be in vain. Laymen like us can appreciate the wood pulp-based sculpture from afar without having to actually pick up the scissors and glue. ... Come to think of it, when the <em>Halo</em> dolls become sentinent (<a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/09/13/see-yet-another-new-ad-for-halo-3/">and they will</a>) it's probably better that we have as few of these things lying around as possible.<br /><br />[Via <a href="http://www.wonderlandblog.com/wonderland/2007/09/papercraft-mast.html">Wonderland</a>]<br /><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/09/25/master-chief-papercraft-is-pinnacle-of-sadness/">Master Chief papercraft is pinnacle of sadness</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 25 Sep 2007 11:30:00 EST. The latest update on the tactical RPG's site shows off a <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/papercraft">papercraft model</a> of a horned beetle -- just one of the dozens of customizable units in your army of mechanized bugs -- equipped with an intimidating cannon on its back. The guy's camera must have been made out of paper itself-- or maybe it was a camera-shaped cake that could only take real pictures by a freak accident. Alternately, it could have been a cell phone.<br /><br />But even in low detail, you get the idea. A <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/craft">crafter</a> named Patrick made a tiny <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/papercraft">papercraft</a> Wii and Wiimote that any strong waggle could blow away. It would make a nice companion piece to that <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2006/12/07/playing-wii-on-a-1-5-inch-set/">teensy TV</a> from earlier this year.
