Remember those <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/06/19/thq-brings-warhammer-40k-squad-command-to-the-ds/"><em>Warhammer 40k: Squad Command</em></a> screens we <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/07/19/warhammer-40k-squad-command-might-be-awesome/">mentioned</a> a few weeks back? Now you can see them for yourself, sans watermark, in their original glory. This is one we think will definitely look great in motion, and the online battles promise hours of fun. We're <em>always</em> interested in more <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/category/game-night/">Wi-Fi games</a>, especially when there are strategy elements. <br /><br />[Via <a href="http://gonintendo.com/?p=22371">GoNintendo</a>]<br /><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/08/03/the-latest-from-warhammer-40k-squad-command/">The latest from Warhammer 40k: Squad Command</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 03 Aug 2007 17:20:00 EST. In <em>Squad Command</em>, gamers play as the elite Space Marines of the Ultramarines chapter and must fight the (obviously) evil Chaos Space Marines. The game promises 13 single-player missions and a "robust multiplayer mode" with 9 unique missions.<br /><br />Of particular note is the "fully destructible, real time 3D battlefields" the game promises. Theoretically, this means that each battle can be dynamic and different, although we haven't seen the extent of the damage that can be dealt.<br /><br />There will be over 20 ranged and close combat weapons in the game, taken directly from the <em>Warhammer 40,000</em> universe, including the Bolter, Plasma Gun, Chainsword and Power Fist. Expect more details on this new game in the coming months.<br /><br /><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/06/19/warhammer-40-000-bringing-turn-based-strategy-to-psp/">Warhammer 40,000 bringing turn-based strategy to PSP</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 19 Jun 2007 12:30:00 EST.
