WWE '13 Collector's Edition features Stone Cold Steve Austin

THQ announced a special collector's edition of WWE '13 that features legendary pro wrestler Stone Cold Steve Austin. The Austin 3:16 edition of the game includes a DVD/Blu-Ray about Austin's career, signed art, and Austin's in-game attire and classic ATV ring entrance. The collector's edition version is priced at $79.99 and is available for pre-order now on THQ's site, which lists the Austin 3:16 edition for PS3 and Xbox 360, not Wii.

A tie-in with the oft-hilarious Texas Rattlesnake fits with THQ's "Attitude Era" approach to this year's game, which will see the inclusion of Mankind and Mike Tyson. WWE '13 is slated to Irish whip players off retail ropes and into a scoop slam, a two-count pin attempt, figure four leg lock, rope break, and a chair shot to the head when the referee isn't looking ... all on October 30.

Leaked WWE 13 trailer shows off slams, jams and a Nov. 1 2012 release date

The above leaked trailer for WWE 13, assuming it hasn't been ripped from the pages of YouTube by THQ, shows off many of the wrestling acrobatics and tiny shorts one can look forward to performing and wearing this fall, when the game pile drives its way onto retail shelves come November 1.

Eagle-eyed readers will recognize wrestling legends The Undertaker, Stone Cold Steve Austin and Mankind, among newer faces like Sheamus, Mark Henry, CM Punk and Chris Jericho. Hey THQ, how 'bout bringing back some Doink?

James Bond 007: Blood Stone hurled through holiday release window, courtesy of Bizarre

Assassinating months of speculation, Activision has finally announced its new James Bond game, helmed by Project Gotham Racing and Blur developer Bizarre Creations. Featuring an original story by Bruce Feirstein (who penned the screenplay for GoldenEye and the script for 2003's Bond game, Everything or Nothing), James Bond 007: Blood Stone features a mix of third-person cover-based shooting, hand-to-hand combat and "adrenaline-fuelled driving sequences" on land and sea -- and air, if there are enough exploding ramps.

Daniel Craig will reprise his role as suave spy guy (it's not like they need him for a movie right now) alongside Judi Dench, who once again plays stern boss lady "M." Grammy award-winning singer Joss Stone will be playing Blood Stone's obligatory gun-toting temptress, presumably because Oliver Stone couldn't quite pull off the evening gowns. Stone -- that's Joss -- will also provide the game's original theme song, "I'll Take it All," with the aid of Dave Stewart from the Eurythmics.

Bizarre's James Bond 007: Blood Stone is set to launch on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 this holiday season. N-Space is developing a DS version for the same time frame. You can watch the trailer for the console version here.
