For six bucks, fisticuffs enthusiasts receive the game, its soundtrack, 24 avatars and 41 pieces of related artwork.<br /><br />Since this is a straight port of the Windows version of the game from the late 90s, anyone plugging a PS3 or Xbox arcade stick into their USB port and hoping for built-in compatibility will be disappointed. Regardless, if PC is your fighting platform of choice and you, like many others, pine for the simpler days of the Alpha era, here you go.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/11/09/street-fighter-alpha-2-on-gog-for-6/">Street Fighter Alpha 2 on GOG for $6</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 09 Nov 2012 01:00:00 EST. Intelligent Systems's patently odd shooting game <em>530 Eco Shooter</em> arrives on WiiWare this week, aiming to fill you with terror at the sight of any preserved vegetable. For those among you who shun can combat, <em>Street Fighter Alpha 2</em> is also available, in a surprisingly competent SNES port.<br />
<br />
On DSiWare, Gameloft has released <em>Legends of Exidia</em>, which is <a href="http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=19524019&amp;postcount=464">reportedly</a> a port of its mobile game <a href="http://www.gameloft.com/mobile-games/might-and-magic-2/"><em>Might and Magic II</em></a> (not to be confused with the <em>real <a href="http:// http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Might_and_magic_2">Might and Magic II</a></em>) with all the license stuff excised. That's pretty weird.<br />

There's some classic platforming to be had in both <em>Rayman </em>and <em>Shinobi</em> in this week's Nintendo downloads, and even a way to deal with Jack's overabundance of stress in <em>Stop Stress: A Day of Fury</em>. There's over ten titles in all, so cruise past the break for the full list.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/12/07/nintendoware-weekly-rayman-stop-stress-shinobi-street-fighte/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>NintendoWare Weekly: Rayman, Stop Stress, Shinobi, Street Fighter Alpha 2</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/12/07/nintendoware-weekly-rayman-stop-stress-shinobi-street-fighte/">NintendoWare Weekly: Rayman, Stop Stress, Shinobi, Street Fighter Alpha 2</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 07 Dec 2009 10:30:00 EST. The ESRB spills the beans yet again. The ratings board has listed <em>Street Fighter Alpha II</em> and <em>III</em> for release on the PS3 and PSP. So expect to see both games appear on the PSN Store at some point in the future. This might all be moot though, considering <em>Street Fighter II HD</em> is <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/10/21/street-fighter-ii-hd-promised-soon-new-screens-released/">on its way "soon"</a> and <em>Street Fighter IV</em> will be arriving next year. Honestly, how many different <em>Street Fighter </em>games do you need? <br /><br />If all this news of imminent <em>Street Fighter</em> goodness has you itching to play, you can always grab <em>Street Fighter Alpha</em> from the US PSN Store right now.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/10/21/street-fighter-alpha-2-and-3-rated-by-esrb/">Street Fighter Alpha 2 &amp; 3 rated by ESRB</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 21 Oct 2008 12:00:00 EST.
