Me Studios opted instead to create his game out of needle-pointed wool and stop-motion animation techniques. The game itself is a tilt-controlled avoidance game where the player's adorable little space ship must avoid space debris and creatures while collecting things.<br /><br /><em>Voyager</em> is both Retina Display-capable and a Universal app, and is <a href="http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/voyager-the-game/id553336542?ls=1&amp;mt=8">available on the App Store</a> right now for $0.99.<div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/voyager-09-04-2012/">Voyager (09/04/2012)</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/voyager-09-04-2012/#5257872"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2012/09/voyager1_thumbnail.png" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/voyager-09-04-2012/#5257873"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2012/09/voyager2_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/voyager-09-04-2012/#5257874"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2012/09/voyager3_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/voyager-09-04-2012/#5257875"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2012/09/voyager4_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/09/05/voyager-is-an-ios-game-made-out-of-wool/">'Voyager' is an iOS game made out of wool</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 05 Sep 2012 02:30:00 EST. If some people worry about changing history by stepping on a butterfly, <em>Time Pilot</em> tossed all that out a window by just blowing up anything in history's path to ... well, to do something we're not actually sure of -- but we're sure it was justified. Now Konami shows off their latest middle finger to the temporal prime directive: Time Ace.<br /><br />DSFanboy has the <a href="http://www.dsfanboy.com/2007/06/04/a-most-excellent-adventure-through-time/">pretty pictures</a> of the <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/After_Burner"><em>After Burner</em></a>-through-time re-imagining of <em>Time Pilot</em>. The game is expected to release next week for those who need a modern <em>After Burner</em> fix that has them blowing up pirate ships and anything else history puts in the way of your progress. Who needs a temporal prime directive, right Cpt. Janeway?<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/06/04/time-ace-turns-clock-forward-on-time-pilot/">Time Ace turns clock forward on Time Pilot</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 04 Jun 2007 19:32:00 EST.
