Hey look, it's another edition of Ask Joystiq Xbox. It's like we do one of these every week! Not the credible ones, either.

Got a question for Ask Joystiq Xbox? Maybe you have a story or some information you'd like to share? It's Tuesday, time for another edition of Ask Joystiq Xbox. This week, we talk about Xbox Live credit card removal (again), Halo 3: ODST multiplayer (again), good games for little brothers, HDMI connection weirdness and more. And, as the headline suggests, we discuss the 360's awful, awful D-pad.

Also, by the way, we're practically out of questions to answer. We refuse to believe that we've answered them all. Sure, we're probably getting close, but not that close. Welcome once again to Ask Joystiq Xbox. Ha! We bet you thought Ask X3F had gone the way of the dodo thanks to the recent relaunch of Joystiq. Well, okay, technically you're right. Ask X3F is no more. Have no fear though, as Ask X3F has just valmorphanized into Ask Joystiq Xbox. Yeah, it's not quite as catchy but it's all we got. This week we discuss console killing power supplies, backwards compatibility, free Marketplace content and more. Soak it all up with your brain sponge -- or you could just read it -- after the break.

Oh, one more thing: The Ask email address is staying the same for now. It may change in the future, but rest assured that the original address will keep working in the meantime, so keep sending in those questions!

Got a question for Ask X3F? This week on Ask X3F -- our weekly, reader-powered Q&A feature -- we discuss the gravest of matters, the Red Ring of Death. Of course, we can't sour the entire column with the stench of dead consoles, so we also devote some time to FASA, gamesaving cheating and the post-launch fate of Halo Wars. Read on, but be sure to call for help if your left arm goes numb.

Got a question for Ask X3F? Welcome to the first installment of Ask X3F in the year 2009. We'd like to tell you it's extra special because its the first one of the year, but it's totally not! Nope, It's completely ordinary and mundane. All we do in answer some questions as best as we can. Nothing special about that. Still, if you insist on reading it, you should know that we discuss VGA backwards compatibility problems, Saints Row 2 issues, Faith and a .45, and an assortment of other random topics. Click forth and read like it's 2009. Because, well, it is.

Got a question for Ask X3F? Maybe you have a story or some information you'd like to share? Ask X3F returns this week with a new batch of questions sent in by you, our loyal, information starved readers. This week, we've got questions about the Xbox 360's power usage (hint: it's a lot), rhythm game instrument compatibility, and yet another email about the profoundly bad behavior found on Xbox Live. We've also got some new info for folks out there looking for good splitscreen games, which we were asked about last week. Click onward and enjoy.

Got a question for Ask X3F? Maybe you have a story or some information you'd like to share? Ask X3F is back once again with loads of questions from you, our lovely, talented readers. This week, we cover questions about Lips (en Español), the hard drive data migration kit, license transferring and more. Sit back, get cozy, grab some cocoa, and enjoy. As always, we invite you to give us your feedback, and don't forget to lend a hand in the comment if you have a better answer than we do (which you probably do, considering how lovely and talented you are).

Got a question for Ask X3F? Welcome once again to the latest installment of Ask X3F, our weekly feature in which we answer only the burningest of reader questions.. The questions are really piling up lately, so we've done our best to tackle as many as we can this week. We've got questions about mom-friendly games, network issues, Xbox Originals, and so very much more. We even have a question about stupid questions. Click past the break to read it all. Do it gingerly though, lest you be buried in an avalanche of knowledge.

Got a question for Ask X3F? It's time for another exciting(?) edition of Ask X3F, the community powered feature in which you ask and we (attempt to) answer. This week, we've got some NXE questions and complaints, Left 4 Dead issues and a Friends list quandary. We also deal with the most hated of all subjects: airports. Read it all after the break.

Got a question for Ask X3F? Geez, kids, we've got more questions than we can shake a raw hunk of undead flesh at. Trust us when we say that we're capable of shaking a hunk of undead flesh at a lot of questions, but this is overwhelming even to us. Are we to believe that you actually want -- possibly need -- our sage advice? We're truly touched. This week in Ask X3F, we cover child account promotion, saved films, achievement tracking and more. Now please stop touching us. We don't answer a ton of NXE questions this week, but we do get around to some very specific ones. We answer one question about notifications (also known as bleep-bloops) and the Guide button and the we've got a pair of questions about installing games to the hard drive. Even our old buddy the HD DVD drive makes a guest appearance! Speaking of strange resurrections, we even have a question that involves Shadowrun. Seriously, Shadowrun. Finally, we've got the nicest, most complimentary email ever (protip: flattery is the easiest way to get your question published).

Got a question for Ask X3F? Welcome to another exciting edition of Ask X3F, where readers ask the questions and we put on an air of a pompous know-it-all. This week, we discuss hard drive issues, immature gamers (again), dismemberment and online splitscreen games. We also take somewhat of a departure this week by explaining to some worried parents that Firefox is not spyware.

Got a question for Ask X3F? This week on Ask X3F, we've got more Netflix questions, Mirror's Edge motion sickness, and awful D-pads. Things take a turn for the serious too, when we discuss the occasionally reprehensible behavior encountered on Xbox Live. You can find all of this and more after the break. This week, we got a lot of people asking the same question about Netflix. We also got one person asking a lot of question about Rock Band. And in the Ask X3F tradition of people asking about obscure games most people have forgotten, we answer a question about the Unlock Xbox contest winner, which was to made into a Doritos sponsored XBLA game. And now, apparently, we're starting a new tradition in which we answer question about long forgotten movies about games. This week's edition of Ask X3F is relatively short, but that doesn't mean it isn't packed with the good stuff. This week we've got questions about yet another old game (a rumored GUN sequel this time), music licensing, and Portal XBLA. We also give advice on adjusting to console FPS games and earning achievements with a significant other (makes for a great date!). Here we are for yet another edition of Ask X3F, and we've made a discovery. It seems you readers just love sending us questions about games everyone seems to have forgotten. This week we answer questions about (get this) Interstellar Marines (who?) and the video game versions of both Heat and Sin City. At least, we try to answer them. Interstellar Marines seems to have done everything short of disappearing. We also address charging for gamerpics and themes and the console real time strategy experience. Click ahead for your questions, and our answers. As always, feel free to supplement our answers (especially on these obscure games) with your own knowledge.

Got a question for Ask X3F?
For Ask X3F this week, we tackle the tough issues.
It's Tuesday, time for another installment of Ask X3F, the community powered feature where we ask you to ask us your most pressing Xbox 360 questions. On the other hand, we wouldn't be surprised if you've never even heard of Frame City Killer. Come, learn about Frame City Killer and learn about the many ways your 360 HD DVD is still useful.

Got a question for Ask X3F?
Another edition of Ask X3F is upon us, boys and girls. In this weeks installment, we discuss many puzzling issues including what happened to Microsoft Point gifting, why X3F giveaways are only open in North America and just what the deal is with Rock Band 1 DLC compatibility. We also ask a very important question: what exactly makes a hit? The Arcade Hits program has been discounting Xbox Live Arcade games for a while now, but we really don't know what makes a 'hit.' Why are some games discounted while others are not. We explore the possibilities after the break.

The mailbag is getting a bit thin this week, so be sure to send in your questions and comments for next week.

Got a question for Ask X3F? This week on Ask X3F, the community-powered feature where we answer reader questions, we have a lot to cover. We've got Star Trek Online questions, we've got New Xbox Experience questions, we even have questions that aren't really questions at all. We also share a few choice words on exactly why it is that Microsoft can cram a 120GB hard drive into a Zune but decided not to build one into every Xbox 360. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, we answer a question we haven't heard since the 90's: Virtua Fighter or Soul Calibur?

Got a question for Ask X3F?
This week on a newly rejuvenated Ask X3F, we tackle wireless internet stealing sharing, erratic Xbox 360 sign-in problems and the ability of the Xbox 360 Fancast to turn people into (extremely) minor internet celebrities. We also discuss the practice of borrowing games from friends. It's a tricky road to travel. Personally, we've seen some of our best games lost to the abyss thanks to untrustworthy friends (thanks for losing Earthworm Jim, Joey!). However, it can also be a great (and cheap) way to experience games you wouldn't otherwise. Delve dee into this week's edition of Ask X3F and uncover its secrets. No, seriously. Delve.

Got a question for Ask X3F? Maybe you have a story or some information you'd like to share? It's a short Ask X3F this week. Why? Because we have next to zero questions to answer. Sometimes, that's just how it happens. As such, it won't take you very long to read it this week. We know, it makes us sad too. But look at it this way, with the time you save on reading Ask X3F, you can get other things done. Important things ... like chores! Or, failing that, you could always play some video games. We understand that's a pretty popular activity these days.

Fun fact: this is the second time we've featured Chronicles of Riddick as the headline image for Ask X3F. See if you can find the other one. It will be fun, we promise!

Got a question for Ask X3F? Maybe you have a story or some information you'd like to share? Okay, deep breath. Ask X3F is back the way it was always meant to be. Oh sure, Xav came and filled in for a week, but now it's time to get back to business for real and for true. This week we have got a brand new heap of questions. It seems quite a few folks are curious about the new 60GB Xbox 360. Another reader wants to know what happened to all of our swag (hint: E3). Finally, we deal with the controversial topics of IPTV and inversion. With Richard on vacation a few things were left hanging in the air. What will come of the Fancast this week? Well, it was put on hold so we all could rest. Who will force us to work? Well, we're all drinking lots of coffee to stay awake. What will happen to Ask X3F? Well, about that ...

Loyal readers will know that the last time one of us tried to do an Ask X3F segment the response wasn't exactly positive. But we decided that answering your growing list of emails was more important than anything else so we decided to go ahead (with Richard's approval of course) and take over this week. We assure you Richard will be back to answer all your Xbox-related concerns soon but in the mean time it's Xav's turn to get hated on for doing Richard's weekly feature. This week we cover everything from lost cables to niche games (like Oneechanbara in the image above) not making it Stateside. Read it, learn it, love it. Also, keep all possible flaming creative for bonus points.

Got a question for Ask X3F? Maybe you have a story or some information you'd like to share? We hope you like this edition of Ask X3F, because you ain't getting one next week. We're going to be at E3, you see, and we imagine most of your questions will be answered by our non-stop, super awesome coverage of the event. Anyhway, to the questions! This week, we've got questions (and answers) about XBLA release dates, Guitar Hero: Aerosmith guitar compatibility, and achievement tracking. As an added bonus, depending on your point of view, we don't have one question about Halo 3 toys this week. We know, it feels weird to us too. Read on, knowledge seekers!

Got a question for Ask X3F? Maybe you have a story or some information you'd like to share? This is it. This is the 26th episode of Ask X3F. We've been doing this for half a year now. In fact, we missed a week at least once, so we've been doing it even longer. It seems like only yesterday when we were answering questions on Christmas morning. Ah, memories. But enough of this sentimental codswallop! It's time to answer some questions. This week we answer queries about Xbox 360 memory units, the DRM tool and box art. Oh, and we should mention this is also the first edition of Ask X3F to include not one, but two haiku poems. Don't bother yourself with silly questions about how (or why) there are haikus in a question and answer column. Just read the column and enjoy it.

Got a question for Ask X3F? Maybe you have a story or some information you'd like to share? The video game industry certainly sees its share of rumors and, in this week's edition of Ask X3F, we tackle one of the biggest. That is, of course, whether or not Metal Gear Solid 4 will ever hit our beloved white console. We also discuss Street Fighter II HD, Halo toys and Spore. After a one week hiatus, Ask X3F returns once again. Where was it last week? Frankly, there just weren't enough questions (or too many questions we aren't equipped to answer). Even this week's batch of questions is fairly small. Still, we must press on, and so we have. After the break, find answers to questions about Xbox 360 controller problems, the upcoming DRM fix and more. Now, start sending more questions!

Got a question for Ask X3F? Maybe you have a story or some information you'd like to share? Welcome once again to Ask X3F, the community-powered feature where we answer the burningest questions around. This week, we talk Guitar Hero: Aerosmith and Guitar Hero III DLC, DiRT 2, and storage media. Oh, and we also discuss the Indiana Jones game that was announced way back in 2006. It's dropped of the radar since then. What happened to it? Was it canceled? Find out inside.

Got a question for Ask X3F?
With so many editions of Ask X3F come and gone, one would think that we would have answered them all by now. But no, man is a curious creature, a creature whose thirst for knowledge will not be slaked. Also, it turns out, people just love asking questions about unreleased games. The most recent game-du-semaine is none other than The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena. Announced just over a year ago, it missed its projected 2007 release and sank into obscurity. What happened to it? It's alright everyone, Ask X3F is here. We know you've been waiting, slavering at the chance to sink your eyeballs into another action-packed edition of our column devoted to both Q's and their A's. Rest assured, we are happy to oblige in every possible way. This week, we boldly explore the Xbox 360's lack of mutli-person private chat, overscan problems, and the absence of Bionic Commando: Rearmed. We also do our best to start the Guitar Hero IV versus Rock Band 2 flamewar months and months (possibly even years) in advance. Find out if we're successful after the break.

Got a question for Ask X3F? Maybe you have a story or some information you'd like to share? Ask X3F returns this week with a new batch of reader questions and blogger answer. This week, we revisit profile login problems, Too Human trepidation, Halo spin-offs, and GTAIV sales numbers. That's really about it for this week, actually. What can we say, we're all tuckered out from covering Microsoft's Gamers' Day. Find your latest Q's and A's after the break.

Got a question for Ask X3F? Maybe you have a story or some information you'd like to share? It's time for yet another delectable edition of Ask X3F, the community powered feature where we answer all of our readers most pertinent questions. That's not entirely true. We also answer questions that are totally impertinent. We'll let you decide which is which. This week we talk about region locked Xbox Originals, HDTV issues, Auto Sign-In, and more. Find the precious and succulent knowledge after the break.

Got a question for Ask X3F? Maybe you have a story or some information you'd like to share?
