The biggest of <a href="http://blog.us.playstation.com/2013/02/04/playstation-plus-update-guardians-of-middle-earth-free-karateka-50-off/">this week's bonuses</a> is a free download of <a href="http://joystiq.com/game/guardians-of-middle-earth"><em>Guardians of Middle Earth</em></a>, a game that does a <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/12/07/guardians-of-middle-earth-review/">surprisingly good job</a> of bringing the MOBA genre to consoles.<br /><br />There will also be a handful of discounts on other games. Jordan Mechner's <a href="http://joystiq.com/game/karateka"><em>Karateka</em></a> will see its price punched and kicked down to $5. Twin-stick shooter <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/05/28/twin-stick-shooter-really-big-sky-evolves-to-big-sky-infinity/"><em>Big Sky Infinity</em></a> will be $5.99 and features Cross Buy, unlocking the game on both PS3 and Vita. Finally, we have the stylish, humorous platform adventure <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/01/09/snapshot-knytt-underground/"><em>Knytt Underground</em></a>, which will be available for only $5.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/02/04/ps-plus-free-guardians-of-middle-earth-this-week-cheap-karatek/">PS Plus: Free Guardians of Middle Earth this week, cheap Karateka</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 04 Feb 2013 14:40:00 EST. The shadowy trio all become available on December 5, while <em>Mortal Kombat Vita</em> steals the month's portable limelight on December 19.<br /><br />Two newly launched games are also in next month's Instant Collection, both available on PS3 and Vita. The first is <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/05/28/twin-stick-shooter-really-big-sky-evolves-to-big-sky-infinity/"><em>Big Sky Infinity</em></a>, a port of Boss Baddie's PC release <em>Really Big Sky. </em>The luminous twin-stick shooter comes to Europe's PSN on December 12. Second up is <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/knytt-underground/"><em>Knytt Underground</em></a>, the next chromatic platformer in Nicklas Nygren's 'Knytt' series, due on December 21.<br /><br />On the get-it-while-you-still-can front, December also sees a few removals from the Euro Instant Game Collection. <em>Crysis 2</em>, <em>Scott Pilgrim vs. The World</em> and <em>Double Dragon Neon</em> all depart on December 5, <em>Chronovolt</em> rolls off on December 19, and <em>Tales from Space: Mutant Blobs Attack</em> rockets away on December 21. Get them before they disappear.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/11/29/decembers-euro-playstation-plus-bonuses-include-arkham-city-mo/">December's Euro PlayStation Plus bonuses include Arkham City, Mortal Kombat Vita</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 29 Nov 2012 04:00:00 EST. Developer Boss Baddie, collaborating with Voofoo Studios and Ripstone Publishing, is working on a new version for PlayStation Vita and PS3 called <em>Big Sky Infinity</em>.<br /><br />Details of the new version are more ... finite, but Boss Baddie promises "new modes and enemies, and touch controls" (the latter for the Vita version, of course). You can get a broad sense of what Big Sky is about by watching the trailer for the PC version above, trying the demo at the <a href="http://bossbaddie.co.uk/bigsky/">website</a>, or checking out <em>Really Big Sky</em> on <a href="http://store.steampowered.com/app/201570/">Steam</a>, where it's currently on sale for $2.50.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/05/28/twin-stick-shooter-really-big-sky-evolves-to-big-sky-infinity/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Twin-stick shooter Really Big Sky evolves to 'Big Sky Infinity' on PS3 and Vita</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/05/28/twin-stick-shooter-really-big-sky-evolves-to-big-sky-infinity/">Twin-stick shooter Really Big Sky evolves to 'Big Sky Infinity' on PS3 and Vita</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 28 May 2012 11:00:00 EST.
