According to comments made to <a href="http://www.edge-online.com/news/ea-montreal-re-focusing-on-hd-quality-products">Edge</a> by EA Montreal general manager Alain Tascan, you can expect more big action titles like <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/army-of-two-the-40th-day"><em>Army of Two: The 40th Day</em></a> from the studio. While previous Wii games, including <em>Skate It</em>, <em>Boogie Superstar</em> and the recently released <em>Need for Speed: Nitro</em>, have enjoyed acceptable levels of success, Tascan believes that targeting HD consoles with "fewer and bigger things" might yield improved results. It's a prudent approach, no doubt stemming from the publisher's <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/11/09/losses-layoffs-in-eas-q2-earnings-report/">recent</a> <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/11/17/pandemic-closes-physical-doors-brand-lives-on/">layoffs</a>.<br /><br /> Tascan explains that the Wii market is "a little bit unpredictable these days," further encouraging a shift to additional "big, blockbuster-type titles." We probably don't need Tascan to point out that <em>Army of Two</em> is "the most successful original IP EA has had in the last few years," since it's the first to get a big, blockbuster sequel ahead of <em>Dead Space </em>and -- can we dream? -- <em>Mirror's Edge</em>.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/11/24/ea-montreal-shifting-focus-to-big-blockbuster-type-titles/">EA Montreal shifting focus to 'big, blockbuster-type titles'</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 24 Nov 2009 11:45:00 EST. In an interview with <a href="http://www.gamesindustry.biz/articles/ea-montreals-alain-tascan-interview">Gamesindustry.biz</a>, EA Montreal general manager Alain Tascan discussed the possibility of a <em>SSX</em> franchise revival, saying, "If the market is there and is ready for a new one then we'll consider it." While Wii gamers have already hit the slopes with <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/SSX-Blur/">SSX Blur</a>, the closest PS3 and Xbox 360 users have been to the franchise is through shoddy <a href="http://xbox.joystiq.com/2008/01/10/the-end-of-back-compat-updates-may-be-nigh/">backwards</a> <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/08/20/sony-ps2-back-compat-not-returning-to-ps3-ever/">compatibility</a> features.<br />
<br />
Tascan also discounted a new installment in the rhythm music franchise, <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/Boogie/">Boogie</a></em>. According to Tascan, the franchise has been a success for EA and, while the publisher is proud of its work with the series, there are no plans for <em>Boogie</em> to return at this time. Thankfully, the games industry has plenty of <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/the-beatles/">music</a> <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/guitar-hero-5">games</a> to spare nowadays.<br />

We're totally serious, gals, and it's being made <em>just for you</em>. Aren't you happy? Wait, you didn't play the first game? That's probably a good thing!<br /><br />We're surprised such a decision has been made for <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/08/10/metareview-boogie/">another <em>Boogie </em>game</a>, which is titled <em>Boogie SuperStar</em>, considering how horribly the game sold on both the DS and Wii. And now it's being made with the fairer gender in mind, as well. So, we guess they're building <em>something</em>. Oh, and for those of you looking for <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/05/16/ngamer-boogie-superstar-is-balance-superstar/">Balance Board support</a>, it's <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/05/02/boogie-sequel-confirmed/">still a rumor</a>. We do expect <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/ea">EA</a> to go that route, however. But, that's just, like, our personal opinion.<br /><br /><font color="red">Update:</font> Screens!<br /><br /><br /><br />[Via <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/06/26/ea-announces-girl-friendly-boogie-superstar-for-wii/">Joystiq</a>]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/06/26/boogie-sequel-asks-the-ladies-to-shake-it/">Boogie sequel asks the ladies to shake it [update]</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 26 Jun 2008 14:00:00 EST. Electronic Arts has slipped on a pair of bootie shorts and shaked its groove thang all the way back to the well, announcing <em>Boogie SuperStar</em> exclusively for the Wii. A follow up to <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/boogie/">last year's family-friendly rhythm game</a>, <em>Boogie</em>, the game is the latest to be counted among EA's <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/06/05/ea-announces-casual-games-branch/">casual brand</a>, and is being targeted specifically at girls - though <em>how exactly</em> the game will favor the fairer sex remains to be seen.<br /><br />Once again being developed by EA Montreal, information about the game was first <a href="http://www.nintendowiifanboy.com/2008/05/16/ngamer-boogie-superstar-is-balance-superstar/">leaked last month</a>, at that time indicating that <em>Boogie SuperStar</em> would have players dancing on the Wii Balance Board, though EA's official announcement makes note of no such functionality. What we do know is that <em>Boogie SuperStar </em>will allow up to four gals to keep rhythm, customize characters, and cut rugs using the Wii remote, all while being judged by the game on their road to win it big in the game's 'Boogie Star Show.' The sequel will also feature more than 40 different licensed tracks from groups and singers such as Maroon 5, Britney Spears, and Kanye West, though EA bills the music as being 'made popular by' these artists, so cheap imitations will likely be the order of the day when <em>Boogie SuperStar</em> ships in both North America and Europe this October.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/06/26/ea-announces-girl-friendly-boogie-superstar-for-wii/">EA announces girl-friendly Boogie SuperStar for Wii</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 26 Jun 2008 09:45:00 EST. What is interesting is that, if NGamer's description of the game as a "board-based dance-a-thon" is accurate, Balance Board support may be <em>more</em> than just an optional extra.<br /><br />It's no surprise that <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/EA/">EA</a> is supporting the new controller: their recently-announced <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/05/10/skate-it-ea-announces-it/"><em>Skate It</em></a> simulates a skateboard with the Board, and there's some kind of <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/05/08/ea-plans-western-style-exercise-game-for-balance-board/">exercise game</a> on the way that will use it extensively. But if EA really is building a sequel to an existing (if somewhat unloved) franchise that <em>requires</em> $90 hardware the previous game didn't, they must really like <strike><em>Wii Fit </em>money</strike> the Balance Board.<br /><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/05/16/ngamer-boogie-superstar-is-balance-superstar/">NGamer: Boogie Superstar is Balance Superstar</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 16 May 2008 16:00:00 EST. EB Games' site has a rather interesting listing up. It's for <em>Boogie Superstar</em>, which we can only assume is a sequel for EA's <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/08/10/metareview-boogie/"><em>Boogie</em></a> game (you think, Wii Fanboy?). Uh, did <em>Boogie </em>do well enough to justify a sequel? Also, will this supposed new sequel utilize the Balance Board, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/01/24/rumor-boogie-sequel-to-employ-balance-board/">as rumored</a>?<br /><br />Despite <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/08/15/boogie-producer-defends-his-game-against-reviews/">some lukewarm reviews</a> and an overall failure at retail, it would seem that EA is not giving up on their rhythm-based franchise. Let's just hope that this time around, it will require more than <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/08/14/boogie-beaten-by-babbling-baby/">a babbling baby's effort</a> to actually succeed.<br /><br />[Via <a href="http://gonintendo.com/?p=41878">Go Nintendo</a>]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/05/02/boogie-sequel-confirmed/">Boogie sequel confirmed?</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 02 May 2008 15:00:00 EST. It could, if you're optimistic enough! This "premium" (read: $50) <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/01/18/rock-band-songs-tops-2-5m-downloads-200-songs-in-pipeline/"><em>Rock Band</em></a> microphone peripheral's packaging says that it works on the Xbox 360, the Wii, and the PlayStation 3. Of course, there is currently no version of <em>Rock Band</em> for the Wii, nor has there been an announcement. Score Hero forum member Rocker74 picked up one of the mics and took the picture seen above. You can <em>just</em> see the word "Wii" if you kinda squint.<br /><br />Did the packaging design for an accessory leak an unannounced game? Probably not. Our guess is that this USB microphone is compatible with the existing Wii singing games, which means <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/01/23/high-school-musical-save-twenty-bucks-on-it/">High School Musical</a>,</em> <em>American Idol,</em> and <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/EA/">EA</a>'s own <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/01/24/rumor-boogie-sequel-to-employ-balance-board/"><em>Boogie</em></a>. We would, of course, <em>love</em> to be wrong. We'd rather have the full <em>Rock Band</em> experience instead of just the expensive peripherals.<br /><br />[Via <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2008/01/28/official-rock-band-premium-microphone-turns-up-still-cant-save/">Engadget</a>]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/01/29/does-the-new-rock-band-mic-hint-at-a-wii-game/">Does the new Rock Band mic hint at a Wii game?</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 29 Jan 2008 11:15:00 EST. Word is that not only might we see a sequel to the karaoke/dance game, but it may employ the balance board as a dance mat.<br /><br />The first <em>Boogie</em> came packaged with a <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/06/11/check-out-the-boogie-mic/">microphone</a>, but the balance board could really increase the immersion factor for such a title. Gob <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Oscar_%22G.O.B.%22_Bluth_II">taught us</a> many things, but most importantly he taught us the best magic is done to Europe's masterpiece.<br /><br />So, will you be honing your skills at illusion or do you have some other game you plan on sinking your teeth into? Draw a breath and hoard your pennies, DS fans ... there's more to come soon, and this lull won't last long. This might also be a good time to catch up on some of the games you've got lying around. Unless, of course, you're going to be picking up one of this week's releases! Gamers in the rest of the world aren't as lucky this week -- or are luckier, depending on your point of view -- and Japan in particular faces a spectacular array of DS games. Importers might want to take a closer look.<br />

One mode in particular, Copycat, rewards accurate imitation of dance moves, without regard for rhythm. There are more traditional timing-based game modes as well, however.<br /><br />Some of the ancillary features, like drawing decals on character clothing, might help give the game some longer life, as could the multiplayer. Overall, the impressions seemed positive, with the constant reminder that it's <em>for casual audiences only.</em><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/09/28/joystiq-boogie-a-casual-unfocused-elite-beat-agents/">Joystiq: Boogie a 'casual, unfocused Elite Beat Agents'</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 28 Sep 2007 13:10:00 EST. The portable version of the title has more game in it (read: objectives and losing conditions). But after briefly playing, it still seems <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/09/07/todays-least-surprising-video-boogie-on-the-ds/">aimed close at the casual market</a> <span style="font-style: italic;">Boogie</span> (Wii) courted; rhythm fans might want to pass.<br /><br /><span style="font-style: italic;">Boogie</span> (DS) copies rhythm game techniques, but it comes off as a casual, unfocused <a href="http://joystiq.com/tag/elitebeatagents"><span style="font-style: italic;">Elite Beat Agents</span></a>. But there's plenty to <em>Boogie DS</em> that we didn't know, and this Pocket Gamer hands-on covers a lot of that information. Except for the big question of <em>so is the game any good</em>, but that's not really the jurisdiction of the preview. <br /><br />For example, the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/minigames/">minigames</a>. We knew they were coming. The minigames described in the preview include tambourine-playing, spotlight-chasing, and a very special one that makes us laugh heartily: moving a slider back and forth to control your dancer's mouth movements, for the purpose of lip-syncing. <em>Magical</em>! <br /><br />You can also create clothing decals for your character's shirts, should you desire to advertise yourself or your interests on a big pink <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ToeJam_&amp;_Earl">Earl</a>-looking thing.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/09/13/boogie-ds-taken-for-a-turn-around-the-floor/">Boogie DS taken for a turn around the floor</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 13 Sep 2007 09:50:00 EST. And as the video above demonstrates, the little portable port meets these expectations quite nicely. <br /><br />Gone from the game is any hint of a karaoke portion (which might be a good thing, given the quality of the DS's tiny mic). Instead, <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/boogie">Boogie</a> DS</em> seems to be purely about a series of weaksauce rhythm mini games. Tap the tambourine! Strum the guitar! Step to the beat! It's every great music series mashed up in a mediocre milkshake. Of course, we'll hold off from making any strong assumptions until we can actually <em>play</em> the thing. In the meantime, anyone else care to judge the book by its cover?<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/09/07/todays-least-surprising-video-boogie-on-the-ds/">Today's least surprising video: Boogie on the DS</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 07 Sep 2007 00:01:00 EST. Obviously the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/09/05/boogie-to-slide-its-way-onto-the-ds/">DS version</a> doesn't allow you to wave your arms around to dance, which means that the game had to be adapted for the handheld format. <br /><br />Luckily for us, it's been adapted into what looks like a much more familiar rhythm game. For each motion or instrument (headbanging, tambourine, etc.) you touch the screen in a different manner, but always in response to onscreen cues, and always in a location indicated by an icon. The different icons are just window dressing, basically, since you're now tapping the screen to the rhythm. It's less whatever-you-want-to-call-<em>Boogie</em> and a little more <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/Ouendan/">Ouendan</a>.</em> This short video shows some of the motions involved in playing <em>Boogie </em>on the go, accompanied by a Commodores cover.<br /><br />[Via <a href="http://gonintendo.com/?p=24411">GoNintendo</a>]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/09/05/boogie-ds-video-reveals-a-much-more-traditional-rhythm-game/">Boogie DS video reveals a much more traditional rhythm game</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 05 Sep 2007 15:40:00 EST. As <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/05/07/boogie-comes-with-usb-headset/">hinted at</a> in May, EA has <a href="http://www.gamesindustry.biz/content_page.php?aid=28351">announced</a> that the all-singing, all-dancing <em>Boogie</em> will be released on the PlayStation 2 (fake box art above) and DS this holiday season. When it debuted on the Wii in August, <em>Boogie</em>'s musical sing-and-swing gameplay left some critics <a href="http://www.gamepro.com/nintendo/wii/games/reviews/127849.shtml">gyrating in pleasure</a> and others <a href="http://www.1up.com/do/reviewPage?cId=3161802">convulsing in pain</a>, the latter screaming "shallow and mindless" to the other group's "simple and accessible." <br /><br />EA's press release claims that the DS verse-ion of <em>Boogie</em> will feature "the first 3D gameplay on the handheld system," a statement made less outrageous when it's followed by mention of special (and no doubt embarrassing) 3-D glasses. It also promises new gameplay modes, multi-card play and rather unbelievably, more minigames compared to Wii. The PS2 version isn't as thoroughly explained, though its content will likely differ less than its means of input.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/09/05/boogie-getting-down-on-ps2-ds-this-holiday/">Boogie getting down on PS2, DS this holiday</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 05 Sep 2007 15:25:00 EST. So, what do you do when your console game is so broken a <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/08/14/boogie-beaten-by-babbling-baby/">baby</a> can beat it? Move it into the handheld gaming space, of course!<br /><br />The title will feature several different gameplay modes and a new approach that should make it more palatable for on-the-go gaming. Not only that, but the game will also be bundled with a pair of 3D glasses, allowing you to not only sound like a dork in public as you play the game, but also look like one as you wear the glasses.<br /><br />Should you wish to see some screens for the game, be sure to hit up Nintendic <a href="http://www.nintendic.com/news/1037">here</a>.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/09/05/boogie-to-slide-its-way-onto-the-ds/">Boogie to slide its way onto the DS</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 05 Sep 2007 11:30:00 EST. It should be easy to dance. It should be tough to dance on a certain level of difficulty." He said that his team reexamined motion control schemes after <em>SSX Blur's </em>controls were <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/04/11/ea-producer-responds-to-ssx-blurs-icy-reception/">panned</a> as too complicated, and that <em>Boogie's </em>controls were focus-tested on a diverse age group.<br /><br />Of course, none of that addresses the major issue found in the 1UP review, that "this game is <em>fun for exactly 20 minutes</em>, and only in a group of two or more." Of course, that's a little harder to respond to than specific complaints about the oversimplified, rhythm-insensitive controls.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/08/15/boogie-producer-defends-his-game-against-reviews/">Boogie producer defends his game against reviews</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 15 Aug 2007 15:45:00 EST. We have two responses to this video of <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/08/10/metareview-boogie/">Boogie</a> </em>gameplay: first, <em>Boogie </em>appears to be totally broken. Second, <em>awwwwwwwwwww</em>.<br /><br />NeoGAFfer Captain N's niece Kaelyn got a gold medal on "Brick House" by yelling incoherently into the microphone. For those of you unfamiliar with the Commodores' <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EB6wSJ1zjzA">signature song</a> (ignore the video in that link), it has <em>words</em> and <em>rhythm.</em> We know she's playing in easy mode, and we're glad that Kaelyn was able to experience such a rousing success at such an early age, but shouldn't scoring in a rhythm game be based on ... some kind of criteria? There's a difference between casual games and games that you can win without even being aware that you're playing.<br /><br /><em>Boogie </em>owners-- the gauntlet has been laid down. How well can you perform by yelling nonsense syllables with no rhythm?<br /><em><br /></em>[Via <a href="http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=179997">NeoGAF</a>]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/08/14/boogie-beaten-by-babbling-baby/">Boogie beaten by babbling baby</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 14 Aug 2007 10:30:00 EST. We haven't seen many reviews for the game yet, but what's out there certainly warrants discussion. It's been mostly good scores, but 1UP certainly didn't like it in the long run. But, without further delay, let's check out the reviews so we can get to the good part: your thoughts.<br />
<ul>
    <li><a href="http://www.gamepro.com/nintendo/wii/games/reviews/127849.shtml">GamePro</a> (<strong>80/100</strong>) thinks the game only lacks the fun of multi-tasking: "Pros: Easy, accessible fun. Song list is varied and interesting. Cons: You can't sing and dance at the same time, there's no online play and the replay value is low."</li>
    <li><a href="http://www.gameinformer.com/Games/Review/200710/R07.0809.1455.03980.htm">Game Informer</a> (<strong>78/100</strong>) is of the mind that the game isn't for music snobs: "Leave your stuffy music and game sensibilities at the door - Boogie has a more plebeian appeal."</li>
    <li>Games Radar (<strong>70/100</strong>) says multiplayer makes it last: "As with most Wii games, it really glistens with more than one player. If you're willing to commit to Boogie, mind, body and sooooul, it's a goddamned blast, channeling the same enthusiastic participation we all had last year when firing up Wii Sports first time. But then it's all over too quickly, and too easily."</li>
    <li><a href="http://www.1up.com/do/reviewPage?cId=3161802">1UP</a> (<strong>30/100</strong>) really trashes the game: "The fact that this game is fun for exactly 20 minutes, and only in a group of two or more, should keep you from buying this game. In the end, Boogie is light on dancing, light on karaoke -- a jack-of-all-trades, master-of-none moment of fluff."</li>

This week sees the release of EA's <em>Boogie</em> and EA's <em>Boogie</em> alone. It's a game we've been <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/07/25/video-demonstrates-how-to-get-your-boogie-on/">watching</a> here for quite some time, so we're anxious to see the final product. Set to include a <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/06/11/check-out-the-boogie-mic/">microphone</a> and an incredibly stylish <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/06/27/get-your-boogie-on-save-it-for-posterity/">replay mode</a>, <em>Boogie </em>looks like it may be quite the success for EA. <br /><br />Do any of you plan on picking this up this week?<br /><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/08/06/wii-releases-for-the-week-of-august-6th/">Wii releases for the week of August 6th</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 06 Aug 2007 11:15:00 EST. It's days like this that make us pine for a time machine. Can you imagine being able to tell you from five years ago the the biggest release one week would be an original IP from <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/EA/">EA</a> where you sing and wave your arms around to dance? Oh, and also, you appear to be a giant pink squid-Travolta ... and it's called <span style="font-style: italic;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/Boogie/">Boogie</a></span>. This new release list doesn't just tell you what games are coming out, it reminds you that wonders never cease.<br /><br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/boogie-wii/">Boogie (Wii)</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/boogie-wii/#310134"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2007/07/e3_lea_dance_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/boogie-wii/#310133"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2007/07/e3_julius_karaoke_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/boogie-wii/#310132"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2007/07/e3_lea_customization_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/boogie-wii/#310131"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2007/07/e3_jet_videomaker_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/boogie-wii/#310130"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2007/07/e3_jet_dance_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/08/06/new-games-this-week-boogie-edition/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>New games this week: Boogie edition</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/08/06/new-games-this-week-boogie-edition/">New games this week: Boogie edition</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 06 Aug 2007 08:30:00 EST. John Riccitiello, the new CEO of Electronic Arts, made a surprising concession regarding <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/EA/">EA</a>'s recent strategies, saying that they failed to anticipate the insane success of the Wii. Instead, they put the greatest portion of their next-generation investment into PS3 games, which is kind of unfortunate for everyone. Riccitiello categorized the focus on Xbox 360 and PS3 games as EA being on "the wrong horse." We'd argue that they didn't back <em>any</em> horse sufficiently. Their next-gen sports games, for example, were feature-poor compared to their last-gen contemporaries.<br /><br />We don't know about this year's PS3/360 sports games, but expect EA to shift more and more heavily to the Wii, especially with games from their newly-formed <a href="http://www.gamasutra.com/php-bin/news_index.php?story=14211">EA Casual</a> division. We've already got <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/07/13/friday-video-mysims-is-setting-us-up-for-months-of-addiction/">MySims</a> </em>and <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/07/25/video-demonstrates-how-to-get-your-boogie-on/">Boogie</a> </em>on the way, two games that bear more than a passing resemblance to quality product. Oh, and <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/07/13/e307-steven-spielberg-presents-knock-some-stuff-over/">Blocks</a>.</em><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/07/27/wii-success-took-ea-by-surprise/">Wii success took EA by surprise</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 27 Jul 2007 09:50:00 EST. A new video for EA's <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/boogie"><em>Boogie</em></a> has surfaced, showing us all how to do the thing in-game. Complete with a nunchuk and Wiimote, the video's hand model shows us how to move our character around, build up boost, and overall how to cut up some rugs. Should you be one of the many who're dying to get down with the game, head past the break and check out the embedded video.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/07/25/video-demonstrates-how-to-get-your-boogie-on/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Video demonstrates how to get your Boogie on</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/07/25/video-demonstrates-how-to-get-your-boogie-on/">Video demonstrates how to get your Boogie on</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 25 Jul 2007 12:10:00 EST. While we've <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/06/27/get-your-boogie-on-save-it-for-posterity/">seen video</a> of the editing function in action, we never knew the wide variety of effects one could put into their own user-created replay video could also include a 3D filter. Sure, we assumed such when we saw the first video, given that the 3D glasses icon is right there, but we're never ones to report on something unless it's confirmed. And with the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/06/11/check-out-the-boogie-mic/">inclusion</a> of the mic, we're fairly certain EA will be so kind as to include 3D glasses, as well.<br /><br />And, if you could care less about the replay mode, there's some other screens for you to drool over.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/07/20/fresh-boogie-screens-reveal-replay-mode-has-3d-filter/">Fresh Boogie screens reveal 3D filter in replay mode</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 20 Jul 2007 15:45:00 EST. Electronic Arts' <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/Boogie/">Boogie</a></em> for Wii is not a very competitive game. You can stop grooving mid-dance to change your avatar's outfit (just with the push of the A button) and receive no penalty. The purpose of <em>Boogie,</em> though, is not to be involved. This game is very clearly targeted for that Wii demographic aged 5 to 95, and almost everything about it seems tailored to that push.<br /><br /> Playing the game involves the flick of the wrist to the beat of the song, which will subsequently cause your character to dance. You can move your dancer around the stage with the control stick, and at any time you can press a button to Strike a Pose, whereby you must maneuver an on-screen arrow (using the nunchuk) into a target. Singing is just what you've seen in other games, and there is a sliding bar to adjust the volume difference between the recorded vocals and your own.<br /><br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/boogie-wii/">Boogie (Wii)</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/boogie-wii/#310134"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2007/07/e3_lea_dance_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/boogie-wii/#310133"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2007/07/e3_julius_karaoke_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/boogie-wii/#310132"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2007/07/e3_lea_customization_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/boogie-wii/#310131"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2007/07/e3_jet_videomaker_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/boogie-wii/#310130"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2007/07/e3_jet_dance_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/07/12/joystiq-hands-on-boogie/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Joystiq hands-on: Boogie</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/07/12/joystiq-hands-on-boogie/">Joystiq hands-on: Boogie</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 12 Jul 2007 19:55:00 EST. Pull out your tapshoes and tambourine, the soundtrack for <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/ElectronicArts/">Electronic Arts'</a> Wii rhythm game <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/Boogie/" style="font-style: italic;">Boogie</a> has just been revealed. There are 38 songs in all, spanning a rather eclectic list, from Jackson 5 to Jamiroquai, Kool &amp; the Gang to The Black Eyed Peas. There's even MC Hammer's "U Can't Touch This" -- no, really.<br /><br />Full list, as well as a new trailer for the game, embedded after the break.<br /><br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/boogie-wii/">Boogie (Wii)</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/boogie-wii/#310134"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2007/07/e3_lea_dance_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/boogie-wii/#310133"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2007/07/e3_julius_karaoke_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/boogie-wii/#310132"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2007/07/e3_lea_customization_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/boogie-wii/#310131"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2007/07/e3_jet_videomaker_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/boogie-wii/#310130"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2007/07/e3_jet_dance_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/07/10/boogie-shakes-on-camera-announces-soundtrack/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Boogie shakes on camera, announces soundtrack</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/07/10/boogie-shakes-on-camera-announces-soundtrack/">Boogie shakes on camera, announces soundtrack</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 10 Jul 2007 17:27:00 EST. <span style="font-style: italic;"><br />Boogie</span> just looks like good, clean dancin' fun and we're really excited about giving it a try, particularly after seeing this new video of ... well, video! Specifically, the video-making function in the forthcoming EA title. Looks very easy to use, and the results are pretty spiffy. Seems that <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/05/25/nms-cutting-a-rug-in-boogie/">impressions</a> from the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/nms07">Nintendo Media Summit</a> were on target -- <span style="font-style: italic;">Boogie</span> is ready to get down. Even though some of us have <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/05/25/nintendo-media-summit-boogie-hands-on-wii/">played <span style="font-style: italic;">Boogie</span></a>, the title continues to confuse others. Today's video pick is the first time it made sense for this writer: instead of a dancing-and-singing game, it's a game where you control a dancing-and-singing puppet. Finally, the lack of direct correlation between controllers and avatars -- like left controller for left arm -- makes sense.<br /><br />It's still too early to predict <a href="http://joystiq.com/tag/boogie"><span style="font-style: italic;">Boogie's</span></a> success, but at least we finally understand the basics. And it took us long enough -- the title is close to shipping, with an August 9, 2007 release. See the video after the break.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/06/19/todays-finally-understandable-video-boogie/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Today's finally understandable video: Boogie</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/06/19/todays-finally-understandable-video-boogie/">Today's finally understandable video: Boogie</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 19 Jun 2007 00:00:00 EST. As recently as this month, additional rumor fodder came in the form of one unused "<a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/06/01/wiimote-has-unused-voice-translator/">audio translator</a>" sitting idly inside each and every Wiimote. It's too bad then that the upcoming Wii rhythm game, <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/Boogie/">Boogie</a></em>, is coming with the pictured microphone, as <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/05/07/boogie-comes-with-usb-headset/">promised</a>.<br /><br />Sure, maybe some part of us believed that -- through the magic of technology (or just plain magic) -- our plain, unassuming Wiimotes would be transformed into super-powered Wiimote / microphone hybrids. Or maybe they still will and Nintendo's just not ready to share the magic with third-parties. Speaking of third-parties, note the generic EA branding, perfect for use with other EA-developed, microphone-enabled Wii games. Yes, we're thinking of you, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/03/11/rumor-the-wii-mic-and-harry-potter-will-use-it/">Harry Potter</a>.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/06/11/eas-boogie-bundled-wii-microphone-pictured/">EA's Boogie-bundled Wii microphone pictured</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 11 Jun 2007 13:27:00 EST. Among them:<br />
<ul>
    <li><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/05/25/nms-multiplayer-mayhem-with-mario-party-8/"><em>Mario Party 8</em></a></li>
    <li><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/05/25/nms-scoring-goals-in-mario-strikers-charged/"><em>Super Mario Strikers: Charged</em></a></li>
    <li><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/05/25/nms-big-brain-academy-hands-on/"><em>Big Brain Academy</em></a></li>
    <li><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/05/25/nms-pokemon-battle-revolution-impressions/"><em>Pokemon Battle Revolution</em></a></li>
    <li><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/05/25/nms-up-close-and-personal-with-the-bigs/"><em>The Bigs</em></a></li>
    <li><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/05/25/nms-cutting-a-rug-in-boogie/"><em>Boogie</em></a></li>
    <li><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/05/23/my-word-coach-lets-you-be-like-us-plus-ds-to-wii-connectivity/"><em>My Word Coach</em></a></li>
    <li><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/05/24/more-rabbid-stuff/"><em>Rayman: Raving Rabbids 2</em></a></li>
</ul>
We're most jazzed for <em>Strikers</em>, especially after reading such effulgent impressions from <a href="http://www.penny-arcade.com/">Penny Arcade</a>. But which game shown at NMS <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/wwu">excited you</a> the most? If you were stuck on an island and could only have one game ... you know, assuming you had a Wii and a couple Wiimotes, and a nice TV ... maybe some nunchuks, oh, and the sensor bar, and I guess you'd need a standard 120 W outlet somewhere in the sand ... and a decent supply of food and water, or you wouldn't spend your time playing the Wii ... you know what, never mind.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/05/26/wii-warm-up-nms-excitement/">Wii Warm Up: NMS excitement</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Sat, 26 May 2007 10:00:00 EST. Not only do they remark that the game looks great, but they also comment that the gameplay was fun and exciting. Also, they got some time with the karaoke portion of the game (which uses that <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/05/07/boogie-to-hook-you-up-with-a-headset/">bundled microphone</a>). As far as graphics go, they went so far as to say it was the best looking game at the Media Summit, only challenged by the likes of <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/search/?q=mario+strikers+charged"><span style="font-style: italic;">Mario Strikers: Charged</span></a>.<br /><br /><span style="font-style: italic;">Boogie</span> is broken down into two main sections: the rhythm-based dancing, where the player must flick the Wiimote in-time with the song causing the on-screen character to dance with the beat, and the karaoke portion utilizing the microphone. This second section of gameplay is highly reminiscent of titles such as <span style="font-style: italic;">Karaoke Revolution</span> and <span style="font-style: italic;">SingStar</span>.<br /><br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/boogie/">Boogie</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/boogie/#253765"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/nintendo.joystiq.com/media/2007/05/boogie_bubba_karaoke_01_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/boogie/#253764"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/nintendo.joystiq.com/media/2007/05/boogie_bubba_dance_03_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/boogie/#253763"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/nintendo.joystiq.com/media/2007/05/boogie_bubba_dance_02_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/boogie/#253762"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/nintendo.joystiq.com/media/2007/05/boogie_bubba_dance_01_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/boogie/#253761"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/nintendo.joystiq.com/media/2007/05/boogie_bubba_karaoke_02_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/05/25/nms-cutting-a-rug-in-boogie/">NMS: Cutting a rug in Boogie</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 25 May 2007 12:55:00 EST. The most pleasant surprise at this week's Nintendo Media Summit was the EA-developed rhythm/singing game, <em>Boogie</em>. I was pretty skeptical of the game from just the early screenshots that I had seen, and judging from the deserted EA booth, a lot of other people felt the same way. You'll understand then that I was surprised to find myself actually <span style="font-style: italic;">enjoying</span> <span style="font-style: italic;">Boogie</span>, not only for the gameplay but also the attractive and pleasant graphics. For those of you unfamiliar with the game, <em>Boogie </em>is one EA's attempts to cash in on two current crazes at the same time -- rhythm/music games and the Wii. It combines a rhythm-based dance game with karaoke (via an included microphone) and a host of likeable, wacky characters and they pull it off surprisingly well.<br /><br />Probably what impressed me the most about <em>Boogie </em>was the graphics; it had a really nice cel-shaded look to it, fantastic stages, and good animation. It was by far and away the best looking game at the show, with no other game except maybe <em>Mario Strikers Charged</em> coming anywhere close. The five different characters are attractively designed in a cartoonish way, and they're all well animated -- a key detail for a dancing game. The stages themselves were fairly small, but the backgrounds were huge and detailed. The forest stage in the below screenshots is probably my particular favorite. And the game gets extra points for being less aliased than any other title shown by Nintendo that day -- a huge plus for people bothered by the chainsaw-like jaggies on some other Wii titles (like me).<br /><br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/boogie-wii/">Boogie (Wii)</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/boogie-wii/#310134"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2007/07/e3_lea_dance_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/boogie-wii/#310133"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2007/07/e3_julius_karaoke_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/boogie-wii/#310132"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2007/07/e3_lea_customization_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/boogie-wii/#310131"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2007/07/e3_jet_videomaker_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/boogie-wii/#310130"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2007/07/e3_jet_dance_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/05/25/nintendo-media-summit-boogie-hands-on-wii/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Nintendo Media Summit: Boogie hands-on (Wii)</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/05/25/nintendo-media-summit-boogie-hands-on-wii/">Nintendo Media Summit: Boogie hands-on (Wii)</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 25 May 2007 00:00:00 EST.
