Capcom sure seems to enjoy when people sing the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/ducktales-remastered"><em>DuckTales</em></a> theme song, as its E3 section features an enclosed glass booth for that sole purpose.<br />
<br />
We took a quick video when passing by of one gentleman exercising his vocal chords to the enjoyment of viewers behind him. Listen closely for the "woo-oo" part of the song; he totally nailed it.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/06/14/seen-e3-capcoms-ducktales-singing-booth/">Seen@E3: Capcom's DuckTales singing booth</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 14 Jun 2013 04:00:00 EST. <br />
Traversing <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/dead-rising-3"><em>Dead Rising 3</em></a>'s reportedly massive open world won't be a race against the clock, <em>or</em> an all-out search for a bathroom like previous entries in the series - that is, unless you want it to be. The game's new direction, as well as its opt-in <em>old</em> direction, was explained to us by Capcom during a closed-door demonstration of the game at E3.<br />
<br />
"We're trying to have our cake and eat it too, in terms of how the game world works," a Capcom representative told us during the demonstration. "In previous Dead Rising games, time was ticking. You have to rush through the game, you don't get a chance to explore, you don't get a chance to experiment, you can only save in certain locations ... and some people loved that, but some people hated it and it totally turned them off from Dead Rising."<br />
<br />
To wit, Capcom's goal has been to make zombies the main threat in the game, rather than time pressure, and its doing so by removing the timer and adding auto-saves. The company does seem aware, however, that this is against the grain of the series' history, and as such a "Nightmare" mode will be available for those that want something a little more classic.<br />
<br />
"No auto-saves; clock is ticking; we'll fail your ass if you don't make it to the next mission in time. It works just like old Dead Risings - so if you're a Dead Rising fan and you want a sadistic experience, you can totally do that."<span><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/dead-rising-3/">Dead Rising 3</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/dead-rising-3/#5950866"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2013/06/deadrising3-01_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/dead-rising-3/#5950867"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2013/06/deadrising3-02_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/dead-rising-3/#5950868"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2013/06/deadrising3-03_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/dead-rising-3/#5950869"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2013/06/deadrising3-04_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/dead-rising-3/#5950870"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2013/06/deadrising3-05_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div></span><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/06/11/dead-rising-3-adds-nightmare-mode-for-die-hard-dead-rising-tradi/">Dead Rising 3 adds Nightmare mode for die-hard Dead Rising traditionalists</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 11 Jun 2013 18:06:00 EST. <br />
Capcom announced <em>Dead Rising 3</em> at Microsoft's E3 press conference, and the game is coming this holiday as an Xbox One exclusive. Nick Ramos is the new protagonist enduring another massive zombie outbreak.<br />
<br />
As per the series' ethos, Nick used a variety of weaponry in the showcased <em>DR3</em> gameplay video, including a wrench, a tactical handgun, his bare fists, and maybe most memorably a slegehammer-chainsaw hybrid.<br />
<br />
Capcom revealed <em>DR3</em> will also feature SmartGlass integration, with Nick using it in the gameplay demo to call in artillery support to create a sizzling zombie BBQ. Capcom also promised "no load times" for <em>DR3</em>'s open world.<br />
<br />
<strong>Update</strong>: We've added in a trailer. Meanwhile, Microsoft noted on its <a href="http://news.xbox.com/2013/06/e3-dead-rising-3-trailer">Wire service</a> <em>DR3</em> features Kinect integration. <p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/06/10/dead-rising-3-announced/">Dead Rising 3 launches this holiday as Xbox One exclusive [Update: trailer!]</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 10 Jun 2013 13:34:00 EST. The <a href="http://www.capcom.co.jp/ddq/">official website</a> for <em>Dragon's Dogma Quest</em> is live, broadly confirming <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/06/05/report-dragons-dogma-quest-is-a-2d-online-only-rpg-for-vita/">yesterday's report</a> from Game Jouhou. <em>Quest</em> is a 2D online-only, free-to-play RPG for Vita, coming to Japan via PSN this fall. Regards whether or not it's winging its way west, a Capcom spokesperson told Joystiq "At present <em>Dragon's Dogma Quest</em> is only confirmed for release in Japan and we are currently evaluating if the title will be released in pan-western markets."<br />
<br />
As before, <em>Quest</em> begins with the hero character's heart being stolen by a dragon - biology be damned. The hero finds another heartless victim in a wizardly-looking woman called Lota, and together the pair trek towards home as they begin their quest to retrieve their tickers.<br />
<br />
While it's unclear if <em>Quest</em>'s story follows on from the original<em> Dragon's Dogma</em>, the Vita RPG features returning non-player characters like the knight Julien, Captain Mercedes of the Enlistment Corps, and Black Cat storekeeper Mountebank. One screen shows <a href="http://game.watch.impress.co.jp/img/gmw/docs/602/498/ddq04.jpg">Mercedes in dialogue,</a> with what looks like a hand-drawn background of a country village behind her.<br />
<br />
As previously reported, the hero employs a party of pawns that go into battle - it's unclear if the hero's involved in combat or is more like a commander. The party size is increased to eight, with a maximum of four player pawns and four pawns from friends. The website reveals several of the 150-plus pawn vocations in <em>Quest</em>, including the poison archer, arc guardian, gatherer, and rogue.<br />
<br />
It remains unclear how exactly combat adapts from 3D to 2D in <em>Quest</em>. The pawns-orientated combat of <em>Dragon's Dogma</em>, particularly in terms of formulating strategies for the larger beasts, was a key component of that game. We're curious to see how it works in <em>Quest</em>, particularly given there are so many vocations to choose from.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/06/06/dragons-dogma-quest-site-goes-live-capcom-evaluating-western/">Dragon's Dogma Quest site goes live, Capcom 'evaluating' western release</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 06 Jun 2013 14:15:00 EST. A new Dragon's Dogma game is reportedly coming to Japan, but it sounds a fair bit different to its predecessor. According to <a href="http://remoon.blog15.fc2.com/blog-entry-25746.html">Game Jouhou</a> (via <a href="http://gematsu.com/2013/06/dragons-dogma-quest-announced-for-ps-vita">Gematsu</a> and <a href="http://www.siliconera.com/2013/06/04/dragons-dogma-quest-a-2d-online-only-rpg-is-heading-to-vita/">Siliconera</a>), this week's Famitsu magazine announces <em>Dragon's Dogma Quest, </em>a 2D free-to-play, online-only RPG for the Vita, due in Japan this fall.<br />
<br />
Going by Game Jouhou's report, <em>Quest</em> once more pits players as Arisen, and the Arisen commands a party of pawns who go into battle. Parties can comprise a maximum of eight pawns, including four of the player's, and four from friends. Just imagine all those repeated phrases - "This looks interesting!" - but in <em>stereo</em> (hopefully not).<br />
<br />
<em>Quest</em> again sees players explore a world of towns, dungeons, enemies, and side-quests. On the vocations-side, <em>Quest</em> features a far greater selection, with over 150 jobs included. It's unclear what exactly's tied to microtransactions, but they're apparently for assisting players who don't have lots of time to play the game.<br />
<br />
We've reached out to Capcom for confirmation and to find out if it's headed west.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/06/05/report-dragons-dogma-quest-is-a-2d-online-only-rpg-for-vita/">Report: Dragon's Dogma Quest is a 2D online-only F2P RPG for Vita</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 05 Jun 2013 11:00:00 EST. Capcom <a href="http://www.capcom-unity.com/xantista/blog/2013/06/04/ducktales-remastered-confirmed-for-pc">announced</a> today that its globe-trotting, pogo-jumping platformer <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/ducktales-remastered"><i>DuckTales Remastered</i></a> is coming to PC platforms via Steam, Origin, Impulse, GamersGate, Green Man Gaming, and "numerous other places PC gamers download their wares."<br />
<br />
Helmed by <i>Double Dragon: Neon</i> developer WayForward, <i>DuckTales Remastered</i> was first revealed as a downloadable game for Xbox Live Arcade, the PlayStation Network, and the Wii U's eShop <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/03/22/capcom-reveals-new-ducktales-game/">back in March</a>. Capcom <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/03/27/capcom-working-on-confirming-ducktales-remastered-for-pc/">later</a> announced plans for a PC port, leading up to today's announcement.<br />
<br />
The PC version of <i>DuckTales Remastered</i> will launch this summer, "within or around same window as the Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii U versions," at $14.99. Capcom will reveal more details at E3 next week.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/06/04/ducktales-remastered-coming-to-pc-via-steam-other-services/">DuckTales Remastered coming to PC via Steam, other services</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 04 Jun 2013 14:30:00 EST. Europeans who purchase and register <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/monster-hunter-3-ultimate"><em>Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate</em></a> for the 3DS before 11pm UK time on June 30 will be eligible for a recommendation code good for one download of Capcom's game. If your pal registers a Nintendo 3DS or 3DS XL through <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/club-nintendo">Club Nintendo</a> between 11pm UK time tonight and 11pm UK time on July 31, and enters the recommendation code before 11pm UK time on August 5, then they'll be able to download the game.<br />
<br />
So what if you already registered <em>Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate</em> 3DS? Check <a href="http://www.nintendo.co.uk/NOE/en_GB/club_nintendo/club_not_logged_in.jsp">the Club Nintendo site</a> tomorrow after 3pm UK time, at which point you should find your recommendation code available and can continue the rest of the process. The promotion only applies to the 3DS version - the Wii U game is not eligible - and Nintendo has announced no plans to extend the promotion outside of Europe.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/06/04/register-monster-hunter-3-ultimate-3ds-in-europe-get-free-downl/">Register Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate 3DS in Europe, get free download for a friend</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 04 Jun 2013 02:00:00 EST. Londoners not attending E3 this year have a video game-centric event of their own to attend called "EToo." EToo was announced as an alternative to E3 with both Sony and PlayJam's <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/gamestick">GameStick</a> headlining the event as sponsors. The event's press release noted that over 30 developers will show off their latest games. Demos of <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/lost-planet-3">Lost Planet 3</a></em> and <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/ducktales-remastered"><em>DuckTales</em></a> will be presented by Capcom and <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/the-last-of-us"><em>The Last of Us</em></a> and <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/rain"><em>Rain</em></a> will be on display as well, to name a few.<br />
<br />
EToo will be held at the Loading Bar in Soho from Monday, June 10 through Thursday, June 13. The daily events will be free to the public but require <a href="http://etoolondon.eventbrite.co.uk/">registration</a> in advance, while nightly livestream shows have a &pound;6 entry fee. Hopeful attendees will have to act fast, as the June 10 evening show has already sold out.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/06/02/sony-sponsored-etoo-event-in-london-is-an-alternate-to-e3/">Sony-sponsored 'EToo' event in London is an alternate to E3</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Sun, 02 Jun 2013 19:00:00 EST. <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/monster-hunter-4/"><em>Monster Hunter 4</em></a> seeks out Japan on September 14. Producer Ryozo Tsujimoto announced the release date in a Nintendo Direct today, during which he also unveiled two limited edition <em>MH4</em> 3DS XLs. Both designs are due at launch, and come with the game.<br />
<br />
There's no news as yet on <em>MH4</em> localization for the west.<br />

The word of the week on Xbox Live is "dark," evidently, as both <a href="http://joystiq.com/game/darkstalkers-resurrection">DarkStalkers Resurrection</a> and the Games on Demand version of <a href="http://joystiq.com/game/dark-souls"><em>Dark Souls</em></a> are <a href="http://marketplace.xbox.com/en-us/promotion/dealoftheweek">heavily discounted</a> until June 4. You can pick up either game for $10.<br />
<br />
The marketplace also has <em><a href="http://joystiq.com/game/ghost-recon-future-soldier">Ghost Recon: Future Soldier</a></em> for $15, along with some discounted DLC for the tactical shooter. We realize that one doesn't have "dark" in the title, but it does have "ghost." Both <em>DarkStalkers</em> and <em>Dark Souls</em> have ghosts in them, so it makes sense, see?<br />
<br />
PSN is running a <em>DarkStalkers Resurrection</em> deal of its own as well. Pick up <em>Resurrection</em> for $15 and you'll get a free download of the excellent <em>Super Puzzle Fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix</em>. PlayStation Plus members can get the same deal for only $10.49. This promotion also runs until June 4.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/05/30/darkstalkers-resurrection-and-dark-souls-for-10-on-xbox-live-th/">DarkStalkers Resurrection and Dark Souls for $10 on Xbox Live this week</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 30 May 2013 23:59:00 EST. You can grab Remedy's <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/alan-wake"><em>Alan Wake</em></a> for $3 on Steam this weekend, and if you toss in an extra buck you'll also get <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/alan-wakes-american-nightmare">Alan Wake's American Nightmare</a>. </em><br />
<br />
Weekend savings are also being extended to <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/dmc-devil-may-cry">DmC: Devil May Cry</a>,</em><em> </em>available for $30. All will revert to regular price at 10am PT on Monday morning.<br />

The eShop cup spilleth over this week, with lots of great new releases for Wii U and 3DS. The Legend of Zelda gets two links to the past in <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/the-legend-of-zelda-oracle-of-seasons"><em>Oracle of Ages</em> and <em>Oracle of Seasons</em></a>. Both games are available for <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/05/17/zelda-oracle-of-ages-oracle-of-seasons-discounted-for-first-th/">$4.99 each</a> until June 20, and use a password system to interact with one another.<br />
<br />
The 3DS also gets <em>The Denpa Men 2: Beyond the Waves, </em>and on June 4, you can snag a demo for <a href="http://joystiq.com/game/project-x-zone"><em>Project X Zone</em></a>, the bizarre Capcom/Sega/Namco mash-up RPG.<br />
<br />
Meanwhile, the Wii U Virtual Console picks up <em>Mega Man X</em> and <em>Ghosts N' Goblins</em> (not to be confused with <em>Super Ghouls N' Ghosts</em>, which <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/05/16/new-nintendo-eshop-releases-super-metroid-super-ghouls-n-ghos/">came out earlier this month</a>). From now until June 6, purchasing one of these games will get you the other for half price.<br />
<br />
Finally, there's a Just Dance 4 sale going on - you can pick up the game or select DLC for <a href="http://www.nintendo.com/whatsnew/detail/xwomOCQFIHEtOYX7UREhOUWQDD27bq0W">30 percent off</a> until June 4.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/05/30/new-nintendo-eshop-releases-zelda-oracle-games-mega-man-x-gho/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>New Nintendo eShop releases: Zelda Oracle games, Mega Man X, Ghosts N' Goblins</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/05/30/new-nintendo-eshop-releases-zelda-oracle-games-mega-man-x-gho/">New Nintendo eShop releases: Zelda Oracle games, Mega Man X, Ghosts N' Goblins</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 30 May 2013 12:00:00 EST. If you can spare the gigglebits on your Xbox 360, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/metal-gear-rising-revengeance"><em>Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance</em></a> and <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/dmc-devil-may-cry"><em>DMC: Devil May Cry</em></a> are both available through Games on Demand on Xbox Live for $50 right now. Each will consume 7.34 GB and 6.57 GB, respectively.<br />
<br />
<em>Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance</em> is the slice-em-up starring series cyborg Raiden that Platinum Games <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/12/13/hideo-kojima-gets-his-revengeance-with-metal-gear-rising/">took over full-time</a> from Kojima Productions in 2011. <em>DMC: Devil May Cry</em> is Ninja Theory's reboot issued earlier this year, which re-imagines Capcom's world replete with <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/11/27/meet-the-man-behind-dmcs-dante/">a new Dante</a>.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/05/29/metal-gear-rising-dmc-plunge-into-games-on-demand/">Metal Gear Rising, DMC plunge into Games on Demand</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 29 May 2013 15:00:00 EST. Japan is getting a bit of exclusive Nintendo Direct love this week. On Friday, May 31, Nintendo will broadcast a presentation that will focus on 3DS games <em>Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies</em> and <em>Monster Hunter 4</em>. The Direct, which you can watch <a href="http://www.nintendo.co.jp/nintendo_direct/20130531/index.html">here</a>, begins at 8PM in Japan (4AM PT, 7AM ET, midday Brit-time).<br />
<br />
<em>Ace Attorney: Dual Destinie</em>s has its release date of July 25 in Japan - it's scheduled to come west to the eShop <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/05/13/phoenix-wright-ace-attorney-5-hits-west-as-dual-destinies-this/">this autumn</a>.<em> Monster Hunter 4</em>, however, is still undated, so maybe this week's Direct will see its summer window upgraded to something more concrete.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/05/28/monster-hunter-4-ace-attorney-5-feature-in-nintendo-direct-for/">Monster Hunter 4, Ace Attorney 5 feature in Nintendo Direct for Japan this week</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 28 May 2013 10:30:00 EST. The shivering mass exposed at the summit of this week's charts is <em>Resident Evil: Revelations</em>. While last year's 3DS game debuted in sixth, its PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, and PC port takes advantage of all its new platforms to knock <em>Metro: Last Light</em> off the top, and provide yet another new No. 1 in the UK.<br />
<br />
<em>Last Light</em> continues to flicker in third, with charts mainstay <em>FIFA 13</em> no doubt climbing to second thanks to some timely price promotion. It was a soccer-packed weekend in the UK, with the final of the Champions League taking place in Wembley, London. This led to a certain, <em>spirited</em> German fan dozing on the shoulder of a certain Joystiq editor on a certain early morning bus ride home. Repeatedly. And drippily.<br />
<br />
Moving on, the other new entry in this week's top ten is <em>Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D, </em>which surpasses the Wii version's best-ever placement of seventh; the 3DS port debuts in fifth. Further down the charts, Activision's <em>Fast and Furious: Showdown</em> tie-in<em> </em>screeches into a debut position of 14th.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/05/28/resident-evil-revelations-proclaims-top-spot-in-this-weeks-uk/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Resident Evil: Revelations proclaims top spot in this week's UK charts</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/05/28/resident-evil-revelations-proclaims-top-spot-in-this-weeks-uk/">Resident Evil: Revelations proclaims top spot in this week's UK charts</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 28 May 2013 08:00:00 EST. Nintendo recently posted a trailer for <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/mega-man-x"><em>Mega Man X</em></a> to its YouTube channel showing the game in action on the Wii U Game Pad. The SNES game will launch on the Wii U Virtual Console next week, on May 30, to be exact.<br />
<br />
Meanwhile, <em>Super Metroid</em> is <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/05/15/get-super-metroid-for-30-cents-on-wii-u-virtual-console-right-no/">still 30 cents</a>, the service will see more <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/05/17/more-sega-game-gear-titles-coming-to-virtual-console/">Game Gear titles</a> and <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/earthbound"><em>Earthbound</em></a> is coming this year. We're just saying, the Wii U's Virtual Console offerings are looking pretty hot right about now.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/05/25/mega-man-x-coming-to-wii-u-virtual-console-on-may-30/">Mega Man X coming to Wii U Virtual Console on May 30</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Sat, 25 May 2013 12:00:00 EST. Your patience has paid off. Today, Capcom has issued the full <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/capcom-arcade-cabinet/"><em>Capcom Arcade Cabinet</em></a> collection - a cheaper bundle of all 17 games previously issued in piecemeal packs and as individual downloads. The all-in-one pack is available starting today for 2,000 MS Points ($30), a saving of $15 over purchasing all five game packs.<br />
<br />
<em>Capcom Arcade Cabinet</em> highlights games from the publisher's catalog spanning the years between 1984 and 1988. The full list of 17 games within the <em>Capcom Arcade Cabinet</em> are <em>Black Tiger, Avengers, 1943, The Battle of Midway, Ghosts n Goblins, Gun Smoke, Section Z, Side Arms, Legendary Wings, Trojan, Commando, The Speed Rumbler, Exed Exes (Savage Bees), 1942, SonSon </em>and<em> Pirate Ship Higemaru</em>. There are also two secret games: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/04/16/capcom-arcade-cabinet-secret-games-are-1943-kai-and-vulgus/"><em>1943 Kai</em> and <em>Vulgus</em></a>.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/05/24/psa-capcom-arcade-cabinet-all-in-one-available-now/">PSA: Capcom Arcade Cabinet all-in-one available now</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 24 May 2013 12:00:00 EST. <em>Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy HD</em> has been pegged for a May 30 launch on iOS. The game was initially <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/08/29/phoenix-wright-ace-attorney-trilogy-hd-coming-to-ios-this-fall/">announced</a> for last fall, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/04/25/objection-phoenix-wright-trilogy-hd-delayed-again-for-ios-due/">pushed back to July</a> and has now been bumped up to the end of this month.<br />
<br />
<em>Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy HD</em> is a bundle of the first three DS games, <em>Ace Attorney</em>, <em>Justice for All</em> and <em>Trials and Tribulations, all </em>"remastered and enhanced for retina displays," <a href="http://www.capcom-unity.com/xantista/blog/2013/05/23/phoenix-wright-ace-attorney-trilogy-hd-coming-to-ios-may-30th">Capcom says</a>. The app itself is a free download for iOS 5.0 and greater devices, with the first two chapters of the first game serving as a demo. Each game may be purchased separately - the first is $6 and the other two are $7 each - or in a collection for $17.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/05/23/phoenix-wright-trilogy-hd-enters-ios-courtroom-may-30/">Phoenix Wright Trilogy HD enters iOS courtroom May 30</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 23 May 2013 23:00:00 EST. <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/resident-evil-revelations"><em>Resident Evil: Revelations</em></a> launches this week and Capcom has promised some DLC. It starts on June 4 with the Resistance and Enhancement sets for 160 MS Points ($2), each including six different weapon upgrades. Then, on June 11, Capcom will issue two additional characters for use in Raid mode: Rachel Ooze and Lady Hunk. Each character costs 240 MS Points ($3).<br />
<br />
<em>Resident Evil: Revelations</em> is a remake of the 3DS game bearing the same name launched by Capcom in early 2012. Bridging the story between <em>Resident Evil 4</em> and <em>Resident Evil 5</em>, <em>Revelations</em> follows series regulars Jill and Chris, and takes place aboard a derelict cruise liner called the SS Queen Zenobia. A free <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/05/10/resident-evil-revelations-demo-dated-for-may-14/">demo</a> has been available to all on Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U and Steam since last week.<div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/resident-evil-revelations-5-20-13/">Resident Evil: Revelations (5/20/13)</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/resident-evil-revelations-5-20-13/#5894254"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2013/05/ladyhunk001bmpjpgcopy_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/resident-evil-revelations-5-20-13/#5894255"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2013/05/ladyhunk002ui0bmpjpgcopy_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/resident-evil-revelations-5-20-13/#5894256"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2013/05/ladyhunk006bmpjpgcopy_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/resident-evil-revelations-5-20-13/#5894257"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2013/05/rachelooze001bmpjpgcopy_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/resident-evil-revelations-5-20-13/#5894258"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2013/05/rachelooze002ui0bmpjpgcopy_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/05/20/resident-evil-revelations-dlc-characters-upgrades-outlined/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Resident Evil: Revelations DLC characters, upgrades outlined</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/05/20/resident-evil-revelations-dlc-characters-upgrades-outlined/">Resident Evil: Revelations DLC characters, upgrades outlined</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 20 May 2013 13:30:00 EST. The original soundtrack for <em>Mega Man 5</em> is now available for $8.95 on Capcom's <a href="http://shop.capcom.com/store/capcomus/en_US/pd/ThemeID.1944700/productID.281373700/Mega-Man-5-Official-Soundtrack.html?resid=UV9foAoBAlgAAANGKc8AAAA8&amp;rests=1368913879766">official shop</a>; it's almost as if they planned its release to coincide with the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/05/16/new-nintendo-eshop-releases-super-metroid-super-ghouls-n-ghos/">debut</a> of <em>Mega Man 5</em> on the 3DS Virtual Console. What a weird coincidence!<br />
<br />
At 57 hot jams long, <em>Mega Man 5</em>'s soundtrack was composed by Mari Yamaguchi, who was often credited mononymously (as "Mari") for her work at Capcom. She also composed the music for <em>Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts</em> and several of the songs on the <em>Breath of Fire</em> soundtrack, in addition to handling arrangement duties for the TurboGrafx-16 version of <em>Street Fighter 2: Champion Edition</em>. Yamaguchi returned to the Mega Man franchise in 2010, penning the stage theme for <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/mega-man-10"><em>Mega Man 10</em></a>'s Sheep Man.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/05/18/mega-man-5-ost-busts-into-the-capcom-store/">Mega Man 5 OST busts into the Capcom Store</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Sat, 18 May 2013 22:30:00 EST. The upcoming console/PC iteration of <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/resident-evil-revelations"><em>Resident Evil: Revelations</em></a> will include a trio of confusing new costumes for Jill Valentine, Chris Redfield and Keith Lumley, Capcom has <a href="http://www.capcom-unity.com/brelston/blog/2013/05/14/pirate-jill-and-chris-ninja-keith-costumes-unlockable-in-revelations">announced</a>. As can be seen in the gallery, Jill and Chris both sport equally leggy nautical-themed outfits, while Keith channels his inner <a href="http://onepiece.wikia.com/wiki/Roronoa_Zoro">One Piece character</a> as a shirtless sword-guy in hammer pants.<br />

Costumes are unlocked by playing through the game's Campaign and Raid modes, in addition to "other unlocking mechanisms" that Capcom is keeping a secret. We're just hoping Capcom eventually rides this train of thought all the way to its logical extreme: Pretty Soldier Sailor Claire Redfield.<div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/resident-evil-revelations-new-costumes/">Resident Evil: Revelations (New costumes)</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/resident-evil-revelations-new-costumes/#5889664"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2013/05/976924587353061285585720603118o_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/resident-evil-revelations-new-costumes/#5889662"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2013/05/96490858813059787449856113012o_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/resident-evil-revelations-new-costumes/#5889663"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2013/05/9198585873530712855841241595201o_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/05/18/resident-evil-revelations-adds-pirate-jill-sailor-chris-ninja/">Resident Evil: Revelations adds Pirate Jill, Sailor Chris, Ninja Keith</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Sat, 18 May 2013 18:00:00 EST. <br />
Ahead of <em>Arrested Development</em> blue-ing up on screens once more when the fourth season arrives <a href="http://www.guardian.co.uk/tv-and-radio/tvandradioblog/2013/apr/04/arrested-development-netflix-may-26">later this month</a>, Netflix released a sizzle reel (below the break) for the sitcom's hapless actor wannabe Tobias F&uuml;nke. As ever, Tobias' awkward choice of words is the star of the show, but the <em>Jumpman</em> cameo is a very close second.<br />
<br />
That'd be pretty tenuous to post on its own, but thankfully Capcom stepped in and gave us the perfect excuse. Responding to Tobias' call in the sizzle reel - "Insert me anywhere!" - Capcom did just that with a selection of its classic games. And now we want a Mega Man game with Dr F&uuml;nke as the villain. Make it happen, universe.<br />
<br />
Also, we got this far without making the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/04/18/capcom-adjusts-forecasts-following-canceled-games-revises-strat/">obvious gag</a>. <a href="http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lwuhjeD9i01qbbk61o1_400.gif">Huzzah</a>!<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/05/17/capcom-inserts-arrested-developments-tobias-funke-everywhere/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Capcom inserts Arrested Development's Tobias Fünke everywhere</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/05/17/capcom-inserts-arrested-developments-tobias-funke-everywhere/">Capcom inserts Arrested Development's Tobias Fünke everywhere</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 17 May 2013 07:00:00 EST. This week, Bob returns to the world of Monster Hunter.</p>

<div style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/05/15/powering-beyond-one-hundred-hours-in-monster-hunter-3-ultimate/"><img alt="" src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2012/10/ultimatewiiuscreen.jpg" /></a></div>
Since I don't play MMOs, it's a rare occasion to see the timer on any of my games roll past that magical 99:59 mark. Still, it's happened more times than I'd like to admit; whenever an especially deep or content-rich RPG hits me during a particularly inactive time in my life, I'll focus on it and it alone. Since I've chosen a career path laden with vast periods of inactivity, RPGs <em>Fallout 3</em>, the Persona and Dragon Quest franchises, and <em>Dark Souls</em> have done a fine job of soaking up free time that would have otherwise gone to waste on frequent power naps or community service.<br />
<br />
Chalk it up to fate if you want, but <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/Monster-Hunter-3-Ultimate/">Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate</a></em> found me in the familiar condition of "nothing better to do," and for the past six weeks, Capcom's hardcore action-RPG has given me a whole new set of complex mechanics and arcana to obsess over with thousands of my fellow monster-hunting fans. Now that I've reached that monumental 100-hour mark, it's time to ask myself one question: Did I invest my time wisely?<br />
<br />
Short answer: no, but I'll save regrets over playing too many video games for my death bed.<div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/monster-hunter-3-ultimate-1-17-13/">Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate (1/17/13)</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/monster-hunter-3-ultimate-1-17-13/#5579412"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2013/01/mh3ghdwiiumultiplay009bmpjpgcopy_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/monster-hunter-3-ultimate-1-17-13/#5579413"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2013/01/mh3ghdwiiumultiplay010bmpjpgcopy_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/monster-hunter-3-ultimate-1-17-13/#5579414"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2013/01/mh3ghdwiiumultiplay011bmpjpgcopy_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/monster-hunter-3-ultimate-1-17-13/#5579415"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2013/01/mh3ghdwiiumultiplay012bmpjpgcopy_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/monster-hunter-3-ultimate-1-17-13/#5579416"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2013/01/mh3ghdwiiumultiplay013bmpjpgcopy_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/05/15/powering-beyond-one-hundred-hours-in-monster-hunter-3-ultimate/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Powering beyond 100 hours in Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/05/15/powering-beyond-one-hundred-hours-in-monster-hunter-3-ultimate/">Powering beyond 100 hours in Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 15 May 2013 16:30:00 EST. Capcom VP Christian "Sven" Svensson has shed some light on why <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/phoenix-wright-dual-destinies"><em>Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies</em></a> is destined solely for the 3DS eShop in the west. Responding to users on the <a href="http://www.capcom-unity.com/ask_capcom/go/thread/view/7371/29928019/dear-capcom-please-reconsider-digital-only-for-ace-attorney-5?post_num=13#532242829">Capcom-Unity forums</a>, Svensson stated that while he understands "the value" of owning a physical copy of a game, "it is a sign of the times that increasingly our business is going digital and not everything is going to be in both formats."<br />
<br />
"Not every game is appropriate for both formats given the economics involved," he wrote, pointing to games like <a href="http://joystiq.com/game/darkstalkers-resurrection"><em>Darkstalkers Resurrection</em></a>, <a href="http://joystiq.com/game/resident-evil-4-hd"><em>Resident Evil 4 HD</em></a> and <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/okami-hd"><em>Okami HD</em></a>, which were released physically in Japan but digitally in the west. "Their COGS (costs of goods sold) and retail margins and reserve issues are entirely different there given the market differences," wrote Svensson. "It's a sad fact, but it's still a fact."<br />
<br />
He added Capcom's US operation "worked very hard" to see <em>Dual Destinies</em> released in the west. "If we'd said 'no, it's not coming', it would have triggered the inevitable 'please bring it to eShop, at least' cries. Instead we shortcutted that and brought it straight to eShop."<br />
<br />
In other gavel-banging news, a playable <a href="http://www.capcom.co.jp/gyakutensaiban/5/trial/index.html">browser demo</a> of <em>Dual Destinies</em> is now available on the game's Japanese website. Just make sure your Kanji is up to snuff if you hope to make heads or tails of it. Finally, <a href="http://gematsu.com/2013/05/ace-attorney-dual-destinies-japanese-web-demo-launched">Gematsu</a> reports that the latest Famitsu confirms that both Miles Edgeworth and Trucy Wright will make a return appearance in the game.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/05/15/capcom-vp-explains-why-ace-attorney-dual-destinies-is-eshop-onl/">Capcom VP explains why Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies is eShop only, Japanese demo now available</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 15 May 2013 14:30:00 EST. <em>Ace Attorney 5</em> is scheduled to appear in North America and Europe this autumn, now under the new legal name of <em>Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Dual Destinies</em>. Capcom says it's releasing the 3DS game in the west digitally (on the eShop).<br />

Who could possibly want a <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/03/24/heres-that-mega-man-25th-anniversary-statue/">statue</a> to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Mega Man when you know that somewhere out there a Blue Bomber-adorned NES exists? Ryan Fitzpatrick (aka Platinumfungi) created this one-of-a-kind blue NES, which features a backlit Mega Man on top of the case with a rather slick paint job.<br />
<br />
Fitzpatrick has a bunch of photos of the system on his <a href="https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.517465208290043.1073741828.305139316189301&amp;type=1">Facebook</a> page. One issue we have is that it just wouldn't feel right to play any NES game on it that isn't the best Mega Man game ever, <em>Mega Man 2</em>.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/05/09/this-backlit-mega-man-25th-anniversary-nes-has-style/">This backlit Mega Man 25th anniversary NES has style</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 09 May 2013 23:59:00 EST. <em><a href="http://joystiq.com/game/resident-evil-6">Resident Evil 6</a></em>, Capcom's <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/10/01/resident-evil-6-review/#review">flagship of horrors</a> for the fiscal year concluding March 31, 2013, certainly has "plateaued," as Capcom put it in today's <a href="http://www.capcom.co.jp/ir/english/news/html/e130508b.html">results</a>. The game, which launched in October of 2012, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/10/04/resident-evil-6-ships-over-4-5-million-copies-worldwide/">shipped over 4.5 million units at the time</a>. The company announced today the game sold 4.9 million units. Comparatively, <em>Resident Evil 5</em> has sold <a href="http://www.capcom.co.jp/ir/english/business/million.html">6.1 million units</a>.<br />
<br />
"As a result, [Resident Evil 6] did not meet with our projection," the company's statement reads. "In contrast, <em><a href="http://joystiq.com/game/dragons-dogma">Dragon's Dogma</a></em> became a <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/07/30/capcoms-quarterly-earnings-strong-on-dragons-dogma-social-gam/">greater-than-expected hit product in the domestic market</a>, which has high profitability, and became an <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/06/25/capcom-ships-over-a-million-copies-of-dragons-dogma/">unprecedented million seller</a> in the recent years as an original title."<br />
<br />
Overall, Capcom sales were up 14.6 percent for the year to &yen;94.07 million ($950M), with net income down to &yen;2.97 million ($30M), which is a decrease of 56 percent from last year. Capcom expects this year to be similar in revenues, but hopes to bring that profit back to the 2012 level. This year's line-up includes <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/remember-me/">Remember Me</a></em> and <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/lost-planet-3">Lost Planet 3</a></em>.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/05/08/capcom-year-end-results-sales-up-profit-down-resident-evil-6/">Capcom year-end results: sales up, profit down, Resident Evil 6 failed to meet projections at 4.9M</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 08 May 2013 10:45:00 EST. Defying our understanding of neurology, memory can be found in the heart and soul of <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/remember-me"><em>Remember Me</em></a>. Manipulating memories drives the action in Dontnod's cyberpunk game, as creative director Jean-Max Morris reminds us in this six-minute synopsis.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/05/03/remember-me-hacks-our-memories-inserts-this-trailer/">Remember Me hacks our memories, inserts this trailer</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 03 May 2013 07:00:00 EST. Capcom has taken part in an ongoing observation of Mega Man's 25th anniversary with <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/03/29/mega-man-25th-anniversary-statue-up-for-pre-order/">statues</a>, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/04/06/mega-man-1-ost-now-available-digitally-through-capcom/">soundtrack releases</a>, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/03/01/arm-your-computer-with-mega-buster-usb-drive/">USB drives</a>, and even an <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/12/08/street-fighter-x-mega-man-is-a-free-pc-8-bit-crossover-availabl/">officially promoted fan game</a>. As we stretch into year two of the 25th anniversary celebration, Capcom is producing a Mega Man-themed case for 3DS and 3DS XL.<br />
<br />
At first blush, outfitting a 3DS in Mega Man garb seems like a cruel tease, after the death of <em>Mega Man Legends 3</em>. But Capcom is releasing all of the NES Mega Mans on the handheld's Virtual Console (it's <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/04/25/new-nintendo-eshop-releases-rayman-legends-challenges-mega-man/?icid=joystiq_3ds_art">up to <em>4</em> now</a>), making an NES-style Mega Man motif appropriate.<br />
<br />
The case will be on sale at Comic-Con, as well as at Capcom's online store.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/05/01/capcom-encases-3ds-3ds-xl-in-vintage-mega-man-look/">Capcom encases 3DS, 3DS XL in vintage Mega Man look</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 01 May 2013 11:00:00 EST.  <em>Dragon's Dogma</em> vanilla and <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/dragons-dogma-dark-arisen"><em>Dark Arisen</em></a> players alike, take heed. A recent title update for Capcom's fantasy RPG seems to be corrupting save files for some users.<br />
<br />
If you haven't downloaded the update yet, Capcom suggests copying your data to the cloud or an external device before patching the game. Capcom promises to have a solution "as quickly as possible."<br />
<br />
