Admit it: Your flair for fashion, design and symmetry has prevented you from fully appreciating the gold-colored Wii Remote Plus that came bundled with special edition versions of <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/the-legend-of-zelda-skyward-sword"><em>Zelda: Skyward Sword</em></a>. Hey, we're not judging! Take one look at our wardrobe and you'll know our meticulous approach to color coordination. We're here to tell you there's a solution to your dilemma -- Japanese Club Nintendo members can now spend their hard-earned credits on an <a href="http://andriasang.com/comzck/club_nintendo_goods/">equally golden Wii Nunchuck</a>.<br />
<br />
The faux-metallic peripheral will run you 600 Points, while the other new addition to the rewards catalog -- a 3DS game case which holds up to 18 titles -- will cost you 150 Points. You can check out the new Nunchuck in the image posted above; just try not to let the shameful color mismatching get to you. We've contacted Nintendo to see if these new products are coming stateside.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/12/14/get-a-golden-nunchuck-to-go-with-your-golden-wiimote-from-japan/">Get a golden nunchuck to go with your golden Wiimote from Japan's Club Nintendo</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 14 Dec 2011 14:45:00 EST. Ironically, Nintendo of Japan's loyalty program has something for that now as well.<br />
<br />
For 150 points, Club Nintendo is offering the choice of one of these three 25cm x 25cm "towel handkerchiefs." They're part towel and part handkerchief, but at the same time <em>neither</em>, because none of us would dare dry or clean anything with one of these. Since they're currently only available in Japan, of course, we don't even have the opportunity to <em>decline</em> to mop up a spilled soda with one of these cute collectibles.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/07/31/japans-latest-club-nintendo-prize-is-absorbent/">Japan's latest Club Nintendo prize is absorbent</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Sat, 31 Jul 2010 21:30:00 EST. Footage of the assembled musicians playing the sweeping opening music has been released via the Japanese Nintendo Channel (watch it after the break), allowing us to see just how much more epic a piece of music is when you see it played by a room full of people. If you're wondering why Shigeru Miyamoto looks so bored, it's because there was no room in the orchestra for his banjo.<br />
<br />
Fans of <em>Galaxy 2</em>'s music will be crushed to learn that Japan's <a href="http://club.nintendo.jp/present/P108/index.html">Club Nintendo</a> is offering a two-disc soundtrack for just 300 points with the registration of a copy of the game. It's possible for this bonus to make its way to other regions' Club Nintendos, as the first <em>Galaxy</em> soundtrack <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/11/24/super-mario-galaxy-soundtrack-on-european-stars-catalogue-someho/">did</a> in Europe, but we'd rather take such anomalies as delightful surprises, rather than disappoint ourselves by expecting them.<br />

For 150 coins each, the service has four surprisingly cool-looking fans: one featuring Mario on a monochrome background, one with Bloobers on blue, an Animal Crossing fireworks scene, and another Animal Crossing image with a pink color scheme. These will be available through June 30. Nintendo also put the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/03/31/game-and-watch-and-ultra-hand-and-mario-posters-available-from-club-ni/">Mario poster set</a> on the Japanese site.<br />
<br />
We used to see things like these and lament the fact that they'd never be available outside of Japan. But North America's Club Nintendo actually brings over a lot of stuff from the Japanese club now!<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/04/28/club-nintendo-fans-for-nintendo-fans/">Club Nintendo fans for Nintendo fans</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 28 Apr 2010 20:56:00 EST. It's a real Game &amp; Watch. <br />
<br />
Nintendo is producing a new run of the classic handheld <em>Ball, </em>specifically to give away to Club Nintendo members who accrued 400 points or more in the last year. It's a replica of the original, with a Club Nintendo logo added. Like the other Platinum awards, this doesn't cost any points (so Platinum members can still buy <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/11/09/nintendo-extends-ultra-hand-to-japanese-club-nintendo-members/">Wii de Ultrahand</a></em>), and will be sent out to everyone who qualifies.<br />
<br />
As usual, gold members get a <a href="http://club.nintendo.jp/rank2009/gold.html">calendar</a>. <br />

<br />
The game uses the Wiimote and Nunchuk to simulate the handles of the Ultra Hand, and tasks players with picking up meat from grills and depositing it on plates. It's available today for just 50 Club Nintendo points, one third the cost of a Wiimote stand.<br />

Fifty people who buy at least <em>two</em> of the three WiiWare roguelikes will get this pop-up book thing, which is, honestly, not that exciting of a pop-up. It's basically a paper dome. Two hundred people who purchase just <em>one</em> of the games will randomly be drawn to win a Wiimote/DS strap featuring artwork from the game they purchased.<br /><br />Meanwhile, Nintendo of America has indicated no plans to release the games, and it <em>won't</em> indicate any such plans until they magically appear on the Wii Shop. Don't expect any promotions like this, or, really, any <em>promotion</em> at all.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/07/31/downloadable-pokemon-mystery-dungeon-games-get-physical-club-nin/">Downloadable Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games get physical Club Nintendo items</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 31 Jul 2009 16:40:00 EST. The most eye-catching new item is the 350-Coin Kirby flying disc, which looks <em>just like</em> a flat Kirby made out of nylon. <br /><br />Other new items include <em>Zelda</em> posters, a <em>Mario &amp; Luigi 3</em> soundtrack (which is discounted for those who purchased the game), pencil cases, and a <em>very</em> cute set of <em>Animal Crossing</em> magnet clips. We can't help but think that no matter how sad we are over our inability to obtain the Kirby frisbee, we're going to weep openly when Japan's Platinum and Gold rewards are unveiled.<br /><br />[Via <a href="http://www.andriasang.com/e/blog/2009/07/23/club_nintendo_goods/">andriasang</a>]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/07/23/club-nintendo-japan-updates-with-flying-kirby-and-more/">Club Nintendo Japan updates with flying Kirby and more</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 23 Jul 2009 17:15:00 EST. If you've been having a tough time accruing enough coins in <a href="http://nintendo.joystiq.com/2008/10/07/a-brief-history-of-club-nintendo-awesomeness/">Club Nintendo</a> to get your very own copy of <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/game-and-watch"><em>Game &amp; Watch Collection</em></a> for DS, know that Nintendo is planning to parcel out nine different <a href="http://nintendo.joystiq.com/2008/07/01/collecting-and-obsessing-game-and-watch/"><em>Game &amp; Watch </em>classics</a> to DSiWare in Japan. <a href="http://kotaku.com/5311574/game--watch-titles-coming-to-dsi-ware">Kotaku</a> reports that Nintendo will be offering each individual game for a very reasonable 200 DSi Points over the summer, meaning you can have your own piece of gaming history on the go for a measly $2. <br /><br />There's no word on these escaping Japan, but considering that a majority of the content offered on <a href="http://nintendo.joystiq.com/tag/dsiware">DSiWare</a> there has made its way over here, it's likely only a matter of time.<br /><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/07/10/game-and-watch-and-dsiware/">Game &amp; Watch &amp; DSiWare</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 10 Jul 2009 18:15:00 EST. First, Nintendo <em>finally</em> announces a Wii in a new color scheme (<a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/06/04/nintendo-releasing-black-wii-red-dsi-this-summer/">black</a>), and now, less than two weeks later, the company has announced <em>another</em> color for the Wiimote and Nunchuk -- and the first new color for the MotionPlus. However, this is going to be a little harder to come by.<br /><br />From June 25 to August 31, Nintendo will give away exclusive light blue Wiimotes, MotionPlus attachments and Nunchuks (and a matching jacket, <em>of course</em>) to five thousand Japanese <a href="http://joystiq.com/tag/club-nintendo">Club Nintendo</a> members who register copies of <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/06/04/hands-on-wii-sports-resorts-archery-and-canoeing/"><em>Wii Sports Resort</em></a>. Not that Nintendo needed to offer any kind of incentive to sell <em>Wii Sports Resort</em>.<br /><br />[Via <a href="http://www.gonintendo.com/viewstory.php?id=84774">GoNintendo</a>]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/06/15/exclusive-blue-wiimote-nunchuk-and-motionplus-for-lucky-wii-spo/">Exclusive blue Wiimote, Nunchuk and MotionPlus for lucky Wii Sports Resort visitors </a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 15 Jun 2009 12:15:00 EST. Now that we <em>actually have </em>our own <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/12/15/club-nintendo-almost-launches-real-prizes-confirmed/">Club Nintendo</a>, which features only rewards that have already been released in Japan, we have even more interest in Nintendo of Japan's version. We feel like pretty much anything from the Japanese Club Nintendo catalog could become available to us at some future date. <br /><br />But maybe not the <em>latest</em> prize. The newest promotion offered by the club allows Wii owners to trade in 150 of their Club Nintendo Points for a set of thirty custom Mii business cards from the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/07/23/nintendo-launches-digicam-print-channel/">Digicam Print Channel</a>. We have our doubts about ever seeing the Digicam Print Channel here (although we <em>welcome</em> surprises, Nintendo), so we aren't saving our points for these cards. <em>However,</em> this is significant in that it involves the exchange of Club Nintendo points for content from a Wii Channel.<br /><br />

Remember that awesome <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2006/08/15/game-and-watch-collection-previewed/"><em>Game &amp; Watch</em> collection</a> the Japanese Club Nintendo folks got? <br />Here in Europe, we have our <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nintendo_Stars_Catalogue">own version</a> of Japan's Club Nintendo loyalty scheme, with one critical difference: while Japanese gamers are routinely given access to <em>completely rad</em> <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/11/16/japanese-club-nintendo-members-get-too-awesome-for-words-bonuses/">bonuses</a>, the past few years have thrown up few treats for those in Euroland. Nothing but a natty selection of wallpapers, ringtones, and stationary templates.<br /><br />Happily, that just changed for the better. From today, European Wii owners will be able to exchange their Star Points for Wii Points, giving themselves access to a whole world of nutritious, retro-flavored goodness, via the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/category/virtual-console/">Virtual Console</a>.<br /><br />Four Star Points will apparently be worth one Wii Point, but what does that mean in monetary terms? Well, each Wii game is worth 250 Star Points, the equivalent of 62.5 Wii Points. Hence, buying eight Wii games will net you 500 Wii Points, the cost of a NES game on the Virtual Console.<br /><br />That's a fair number of Wii games just to download a single NES title, but we still embrace this development whole-heartedly. Some of us have been saving Star Points for years, patiently waiting for the day that Nintendo of Europe would make collecting the things worth our time and effort. Today, we got our reward. Read how to convert your Points at the link below.<br /><br />[Via <a href="http://www.eurogamer.net/article.php?article_id=89006">Eurogamer</a>]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/12/07/europeans-to-get-wii-points-in-exchange-for-loyalty/">Europeans to get Wii Points in exchange for loyalty</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 07 Dec 2007 16:00:00 EST. Whatever methods they use to get these things, we <em>cannot </em>argue with the results. <em>Because the result is the opportunity to preorder the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/11/16/japanese-club-nintendo-members-get-too-awesome-for-words-bonuses/">Super Famicom Classic Controller</a>.<br /><br /></em><a href="http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-10u-49-en-70-2f4f.html">Both</a> <a href="http://mgrsti3030s.seamlesstech.biz/templates/frmTemplateR.asp?CatalogID=14515&amp;SearchYN=N&amp;subFolderID=206">companies</a> will ship the item in April (and the <em><a href="http://mgrsti3030s.seamlesstech.biz/templates/frmTemplateR.asp?CatalogID=14516&amp;SearchYN=N&amp;subFolderID=47">Super Mario Galaxy</a> </em><a href="http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-na-77-4-49-en-15-super+mario+galaxy-70-2f4e.html">soundtrack</a> in January) in April, but NCSX is taking preorders <em>right now</em> for $30. <br />Just look at that. Isn't it glorious? What you're seeing above, folks, is a Wii-compatible <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/snes/">SNES</a> pad. Let's say that again, shall we? A <em>Wii-compatible SNES pad</em>. Don't get too worked up though, because unless you're a member of Club Nintendo in Japan, these are off-limits (not that using a SNES pad for your VC games is <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2006/11/30/break-out-the-retro-folks/">impossible</a>, but still, this is the real deal).<br /><br />Yep, it's <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/11/01/more-reasons-to-move-to-japan-you-can-buy-a-wii-for-2-17/">another</a> <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/10/11/confirmed-smash-bros-brawl-delayed-in-u-s/">reason</a> <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/10/23/vc-tuesday-best-week-ever/">we</a> <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/07/06/japanese-vc-castlevania-is-the-famicom-disk-system-version/">really</a> <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/05/18/dewys-adventure-japanese-preorder-bonus-too-cute-for-words/">should</a> <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/05/17/capcom-wins-at-packaging/">move</a> <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/03/30/japans-vc-announcements-for-april-boxers-ninjas-and-punkic-c/">to</a> <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/japan/">Japan</a>. Hit the link below, and you'll see two more: a 2-disc <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/supermariogalaxy/"><em>Super Mario Galaxy</em></a> soundtrack and a Mario desk calendar. All of which are <em>horribly, tortuously unobtainable</em>.
