A $249.99 statue of both <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/darksiders-2">Darksiders 2</a></em> characters is available for pre-order right now, with the first shipments expected to go out in mid-February.<br /><br />High intensity LEDs are built into Despair, lighting up his mane, hooves and tail. Death rides atop Despair with his scythes in hand, ready to reap the souls of all your other collectibles should they get out of line. What? That movie <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KYz2wyBy3kc"><em>Toy Story</em></a> was a documentary, you guys - your toys are <em>alive</em> and <em>move when you're not looking</em>.<br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/darksiders-2-death-and-despair-figurine/">Darksiders 2 (Death and Despair Figurine)</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/darksiders-2-death-and-despair-figurine/#5493218"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2012/12/deathproto4_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/darksiders-2-death-and-despair-figurine/#5493219"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2012/12/deathproto5_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/darksiders-2-death-and-despair-figurine/#5493220"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2012/12/deathproto6_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/darksiders-2-death-and-despair-figurine/#5493221"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2012/12/deathproto7_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/darksiders-2-death-and-despair-figurine/#5493222"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2012/12/deathproto8_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/12/11/darksiders-2-statue-brings-death-and-despair-into-your-living-sp/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Darksiders 2 statue brings Death and Despair into your living space</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/12/11/darksiders-2-statue-brings-death-and-despair-into-your-living-sp/">Darksiders 2 statue brings Death and Despair into your living space</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 11 Dec 2012 22:30:00 EST. For die-hard fans of Ubisoft's major franchises, the company offers a new way to own physical totems of those fandoms. It just launched a line of exclusive "UbiCollectibles" available exclusively through its online shop (and, at the moment, exclusively in Europe).<br />
<br />
For those of us outside of Europe who get redirected out of that region's <a href="http://shop.ubi.com/ubicollectibles">online shop</a>, Ubiworkshop posted images of two of the first offerings: an <a href="http://joystiq.com/game/assassins-creed-brotherhood"><em>Assassin's Creed Brotherhood</em></a> "Ezio's Fury" statue, limited to 2,000 units, that depicts Ezio <em>furiously</em> skipping on some broken columns, and a statue of <a href="http://joystiq.com/game/might-and-magic-heroes-6"><em>Might &amp; Magic Heroes VI's</em></a> Archangel Michael, limited to 500. The shop will also sell <em>Ghost Recon</em> "Production Team" t-shirts, as seen on ... the Ghost Recon production team at E3.<div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/ubicollectibles/">Ubicollectibles</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/ubicollectibles/#4266981"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2011/07/elm2672_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/ubicollectibles/#4266982"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2011/07/ezio2_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/ubicollectibles/#4266983"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2011/07/ezio3_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/ubicollectibles/#4266984"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2011/07/ezio5_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/ubicollectibles/#4266985"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2011/07/heroes6statuescreen2_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/07/01/ubicollectibles-shop-offers-exclusive-assassins-creed-might/">'UbiCollectibles' shop offers exclusive Assassin's Creed, Might &amp; Magic swag</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 01 Jul 2011 16:00:00 EST. If a <em>Killzone</em> enthusiast wanted to recreate the action of his or her beloved shooter franchise on the carpeted floor of their living room, their only option <em>used to be</em> the one and only action figure that came in the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/killzone-3"><em>Killzone 3</em> Helghast Edition</a>. We suppose they could have also strapped a tiny gas mask on a Barbie and used their imagination as well -- thankfully, that kind of roleplaying is no longer necessary: <a href="http://blog.us.playstation.com/2011/04/13/helghast-conquer-your-desk-killzone-series-1-toys-coming-next-week/?utm_source=twitter&amp;utm_medium=social&amp;utm_campaign=killzone_action_figures_041311">PlayStation Blog</a> has announced that a line of two new figures have arrived from DC Unlimited.<br />
<br />
The intricately decorated and articulated figures are modeled after the Helghast Assault Infantry and Helghast Sniper, and are pictured above. If you like what you see, you can grab the toys at your local toy retailer -- or <a href="http://www.amazon.com/DC-Unlimited-Killzone-Helghast-Sniper/dp/B003SJY1GO/ref=sr_1_12?s=toys-and-games&amp;ie=UTF8&amp;qid=1302815556&amp;sr=1-12">on</a> <a href="http://www.amazon.com/DC-Unlimited-Killzone-Helghast-Infantry/dp/B003R37DR0/ref=pd_bxgy_t_img_b">Amazon</a>, which is kind of like a universally local toy retailer.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/04/15/dc-unlimited-releases-killzone-3-action-figure-line/">DC Unlimited releases Killzone 3 action figure line</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 15 Apr 2011 01:00:00 EST. Want a fantastic-looking Bayonetta figure but lack model-making skills? Kyoto's <a href="http://web.kyoto-inet.or.jp/people/nimbus/mr-big/">Mr. Big</a> is happy to sell you a completed resin "garage kit" of the Platinum Games heroine for &yen;180,000 ($2,186). Too rich for your blood? Good news: You can buy <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/09/28/build-a-bayonetta-model-is-for-filthy-rich-hobbyists-only/">the unfinished kit</a> by itself for only $558 in Japan.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/02/08/payonetta-two-grand-for-a-pre-assembled-bayonetta-model/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Payonetta: Two grand for a pre-assembled Bayonetta model</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/02/08/payonetta-two-grand-for-a-pre-assembled-bayonetta-model/">Payonetta: Two grand for a pre-assembled Bayonetta model</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 08 Feb 2011 06:00:00 EST. The dolls from Double Fine's <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/12/23/stacking-preview-matryoshka-mix-and-match/">upcoming <em>Stacking</em> title</a> have been made real and were -- at least for a short time -- available for sale on the developer's site. Made in Russia, the real-life Matryoshka dolls were produced only in limited quantities and, as of this writing, are sold out.<br />
<br />
So, if you really wanted these, you'll likely have to start monitoring eBay. A least your predicament means that Double Fine <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/01/12/thq-needs-your-money-to-publish-more-double-fine-games/">picked up some extra cash</a>. Tim Schafer himself says <a href="http://twitter.com/#!/TimOfLegend/status/32177231451136000">he hopes <em>Costume Quest</em> vinyls</a> may appear sooner or later, to compliment <a href="http://shop.doublefine.com/limitededitioneddieriggsstatue.aspx">the Eddie Riggs figure </a>already available.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/02/01/real-life-stacking-dolls-go-on-sale-promptly-sell-out/">Real-life Stacking dolls go on sale, promptly sell out</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 01 Feb 2011 03:00:00 EST. You and Hideo Kojima <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/10/15/hideo-kojima-wants-a-new-zone-of-the-enders/">may both want</a> another <a href="http://joystiq.com/tag/zone-of-the-enders"><em>Zone of the Enders</em></a> game, but until Konami approves the next story, you'll have to settle for the next best thing: Making up your own with this premium <a href="http://tomopop.com/revoltech-zone-of-the-enders-jehuty-is-a-real-thing-16932.phtml">Revoltech <em>Zone of the Enders</em> action figure</a>. Yes, <a href="http://zoneoftheenders.wikia.com/wiki/Jehuty">Jehuty</a> has been immortalized in plastic, and will be available in Japan on April 15 for 2,850 yen (about $35).<br />

We'll even give you a basic <em>ZoE 3</em> plotline: When a squadron of green Army Men descend on the wartorn world of Antilia, it's up to Jehuty and his new friend Barbie (with her trusty mount Battle Cat) to defend the secrets of the Orbital Frame.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/01/18/zone-of-the-enders-action-figure-available-in-japan-this-april/">Zone of the Enders action figure available in Japan this April</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 18 Jan 2011 08:30:00 EST. The problem with reality is that you can't take a PitGirl or Assassin with you everywhere you go. Actually, you probably could, but that'd technically be kidnapping. Let's try that again: The problem with reality is that you can't lock your own PitGirl or Assassin in a room for you to ogle at your convenience. Okay, we're <em>really</em> bad at this.<br />
<br />
Clean slate: Uber Entertainment is <a href="http://store.uberent.com/collectible-statues/">finally offering figurines</a> based on characters in its XBLA game, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/08/09/review-monday-night-combat/"><em>Monday Night Combat</em></a>. $69.99 will net you a nine inch tall statue of either PitGirl, Assault or Assasin. The Tank is a bit taller at 10 inches <em>and</em> a bit pricier at $89.99.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/11/12/monday-night-combat-statues-are-looking-to-capture-your-money-ba/">Monday Night Combat statues are looking to capture your Money Ball</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 12 Nov 2010 08:30:00 EST. Remember when you were 5, and you went to McDonald's one day with your parents and they got you the Happy Meal with <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pllOTcRXkGc">the windup Luigi toy</a> in it? Remember how ecstatic you were that you had a real version of Mario's bro in a plastic bag along with your cheeseburger and fries, and remember how you went home and played with it all day until it stopped winding and you completely forgot about it until you had to clean out your desk drawer for college?<br />
<br />
Well, 11-year-old Oscar Bown has that <em>times a thousand</em>. The kid's <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-1SyATUApxg">collected over 1,000 bits and pieces</a> of Mario-related paraphernalia, and you can see most of them in a video after the break. He's got everything, from Mario <em>Monopoly</em> to Mario band-aids to pretty much every single vehicle toy from <em>Mario Kart</em>. Just saying: Whenever he eventually leaves for college, that desk drawer is going to be pretty full.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/09/01/massive-mario-collection-will-make-your-inner-5-year-old-jealous/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Massive Mario collection will make your inner 5-year-old jealous</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/09/01/massive-mario-collection-will-make-your-inner-5-year-old-jealous/">Massive Mario collection will make your inner 5-year-old jealous</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 01 Sep 2010 07:00:00 EST. <div style="text-align: left;">There are not one but two brilliant <a href="http://joystiq.com/game/okami"><em>Okami</em></a>-related items in this post, and we tossed and turned all last night about which one we should put pre-break, and which one we should put after. In the end, we flipped a coin, and <a href="http://ga.sbcr.jp/mfigure/015236/">this amazing <em>Okami</em> polystone statue</a> won. It features a terrific sculpture of everyone's favorite Shinto deity, Amaterasu, and will be available starting at the 2010 International Tokyo Toy Show for 15,540 yen. That's about US$176, so it's not cheap -- but at about 8" across and about 5" tall, it's a nice chunk of sculpted form.<br />
<br />
We're still not sure we made the right decision though -- the second piece of collectible <em>Okami</em> gear will be found at the upcoming San Diego Comic-Con, and also after the break.</div><p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/07/15/two-great-okami-convention-collectibles-coming-soon/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Two great Okami convention collectibles coming soon</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/07/15/two-great-okami-convention-collectibles-coming-soon/">Two great Okami convention collectibles coming soon</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 15 Jul 2010 19:35:00 EST. It's as if millions of wallets cried out and were suddenly silenced, stripped of their precious <em>cash money</em> and left hollowed out and dead. We imagine that ringing in our ears has something to do with Valve and Gaming Heads, who just <a href="https://www.gamingheads.com/index.php?option=com_content&amp;task=view&amp;id=91&amp;Itemid=43">inked a deal</a> to produce a line-up of collectibles based on hit Valve franchises. Pictured above is The Heavy, which will be the first in its <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/team-fortress-2">Team Fortress 2</a> </em>series -- available in Red and Blue varieties, of course.<br />
<br />
Gaming Heads will also produce statues based on other popular Valve properties, such as <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/half-life-2"><em>Half-Life 2</em></a> and <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/left-4-dead-2"><em>Left 4 Dead 2</em></a>. And if some decorative shelf or desk items aren't really your thing, there's the promise of "life-sized props," meaning there's a possibility you could actually own a <em>Portal</em> gun without <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/02/03/how-to-make-a-portal-gun-replica-hint-its-not-easy/">having to make it yourself</a> sometime in the future. Just imagine: you'll be the hit of the Halloween party!<br />
<br />
The Heavy will be available for pre-order on Monday, May 3.<br />

We know that there are a few cutlery enthusiasts out there who read that headline and <em>immediately</em> clicked the source link to purchase Kratos' <a href="http://budk.com/Swords/God-of-War-Kratos-Blade-of-Chaos?sourcecode=IZ030310B&amp;emailid=4726">Blade of Chaos from retailer BUDK</a>. Before you do so, you should take into account a few facts: <br />
<br />
<ol>
    <li>Kratos' weapons are being sold piecemeal on the site, so that $123.99 price tag only represents the cost of a single Blade. What's the point of having a single Blade of Chaos? Unless you're ironically cosplaying as Amputee Kratos, you're going to need two, so you should mentally jack that price up to $247.98.</li>
    <li>Replica swords are dangerous.</li>

It's still a little early in 2010 to be handing out our "Human of the Year" award, but a Halo.Bungie.org forum poster by the username of Seraph XXVII is already high atop our list of candidates. In a <a href="http://carnage.bungie.org/haloforum/halo.forum.pl?read=968204">recent post on the fan site</a>, Seraph displayed his massive <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/halo"><em>Halo</em></a> memorabilia collection, seen above, and revealed that he'll be auctioning the whole lot off within the next few days. <br />
<br />
Half of the proceeds from the auction are going to <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/childs-play">Child's Play</a>, and the other half will go towards paying the medical expenses of a <a href="http://www.danbrennan.org/aimee-a3.html">fellow Halo.Bungie.org forumite</a>, whose fiancee learned she had a tennis ball-sized brain tumor last week. Needless to say, both of these are great causes -- if you've got room in your home for <em>six bajillion</em> miniature Spartans, why not show your support once the auction goes live?<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/02/22/halo-fan-selling-off-huge-collection-of-merchandise-for-two-good/">Halo fan selling off huge collection of merchandise for two good causes</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 22 Feb 2010 16:19:00 EST. Is the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/12/23/aliens-vs-predator-hunter-edition-to-violently-hug-your-face/">"Facehugger" figurine</a> that came bundled with your Hunter Edition of <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/aliens-vs-predator"><em>Aliens vs. Predator</em></a> missing its tail appendage? That's an important component for the Facehugger's chest-impregnating ritual, you know. How else is the little guy supposed to keep his balance whilst tenderly inserting its glistening ovipositor into your larynx and filling your chest cavity with its ripe brood-seed?<br />
<br />
Fortunately, Sega's replacing the broken 'huggers -- just <a href="http://www.sega.com/facehugger/">fill out this form</a> using the map pack download code that came with the Hunter Edition, and wait for your new, skittering friend to arrive. We <em>highly</em> suggest picking up extra flamethrower fuel during the interim.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/02/18/sega-replacing-avp-hunter-editions-busted-facehuggers/">Sega replacing busted Facehuggers in AvP Hunter Edition</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 18 Feb 2010 14:53:00 EST. <div style="text-align: left; ">Capcom has inked a deal with Japanese <strike>toymaker</strike> collectibles purveyor Kotobukiya that will see the latter producing <strike>toys</strike> action figures based on the Variable Suits (i.e. power armor) featured in <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/lost-planet-2">Lost Planet 2</a></em>. Set to <em>mech</em> their debut in May, the two VS reproductions will retail for $39.99 each -- which seems pretty steep, until you consider just how detailed they actually are.<br />
<br />
Both figures will stand 6" tall and feature more than 20 points of articulation, plus functioning canopies and -- taking a cue from the game -- removable, interchangeable heavy weapons. It'll be up to you to provide the appropriate sound effects. Get ready to lie, cheat and steal because <a href="https://www.one2onecollectibles.com/content/view/70/43/">ONE2ONE Collectibles</a> has revealed an insanely detailed Master Chief bust for the low,<em> low</em> price of $249. This "strictly limited," 1:2 scale bust of <em>Halo's</em> most popular playable character -- <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/halo-3-odst">unless that gets topped somehow</a> -- stands at 12 inches tall and 12 inches wide, and is set to be released during Q4 2009. If the Chief isn't your character of choice, ONE2ONE also revealed that busts of a Brute Chieftain and ODST Marine are on the way. Get those pocketbooks ready, ladies and gentlemen. This could be an expensive fourth quarter, after all.<br /><br />[Via <a href="http://news.teamxbox.com/xbox/20958/Halo-Master-Chief-Bust-Announced/">TeamXbox</a>]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/09/17/safeguard-your-virginity-with-this-limited-edition-master-chief/">Safeguard your virginity with this limited edition Master Chief bust</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 17 Sep 2009 16:15:00 EST. <div align="left">McFarlane Toys has <a href="http://spawn.com/news/news6.aspx?id=13610">announced</a> that it's making a line of collectibles based on Disney and Jerry Bruckheimer's forthcoming <em>Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time </em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/prince-of-persia-movie">motion picture</a>. The movie's due out next May, and as fate (or marketing) would have it, so are the toys. <br />
<br />
The toymaker doesn't have anything for us to actually look at yet, but there are plenty of details to be had on just exactly what we can expect to be taking up shelf space at your local toy store / comic book merchant / Jake Gyllenhaal fan club gift shop. <br />
<br />
Unlike many of McFarlane's figures, the 4" and 6" mini-Jakes and pals will be fully articulated. We're not certain, though, if the promised "battle horses" will be as limber. A playset (yep, they still make those) is also in the works, as is something wholly non-action-figure: A replica Dagger of Time, complete with "disappearing sand," LED lighting and -- because safety trumps cool -- a "soft vinyl blade." We imagine it'll be perfect for dealing with "huggable plush sand monsters" and "Tickle Me <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/10/14/see-ben-kingsley-in-prince-of-persia-movie/">Nizam</a>."</div>

Four sets will be available on December 9: Ratchet &amp; Clank; Armored Ratchet with Mr. Zurkon; Dr. Nefarious with Zoni; and Captain Quark with Scrunch.<br /><br />Each set carries a price tag of $19.99, so they're not cheap. But, if they're anything like the rest of DC's collectible action figures, they won't be cheap looking or feeling, either. Oh, and did we mention that Clank transforms and attaches to Ratchet's back? Maybe they could even teach Michael Bay a thing or two about remaining faithful to your source material.<br /><br />[Via <a href="http://www.vgblogger.com/?p=5047">VGBlogger</a>]</div>

It looks like a <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/halo">Halo</a> </em>fan by the name of MsValentine has finally laid hands on one and, lucky for us, she decided to share <a href="http://redvsblue.com/members/journal/entry.php?id=2432789">the unboxing pictures</a> with the whole internet. These things are going for <a href="http://www.google.com/products?q=cortana+statue&amp;um=1&amp;ie=UTF-8&amp;ei=UqN5SsGoCoqoMNzKtKMO&amp;sa=X&amp;oi=product_result_group&amp;ct=title&amp;resnum=4">upwards of $150</a>, so, unless you've got the cash to throw around, this <em>might</em> be the only chance you'll have to actually see one.<br /><br />Our verdict: It looks pretty slick, apart from that distracting Master Chief hand.<br /><br />[Via <a href="http://nikon.bungie.org/news.html?item=26991">HBO</a>]</div>

<div align="left">The show may be over, but more video game related news continues to emerge from this year's San Diego Comic-Con. This time it's word that <a href="http://www.sideshowtoy.com">Sideshow Collectibles</a> has secured the rights to produce one of its trademark premium format figures based on <em>God of War</em>'s Kratos. For those not familiar with them, Sideshow'sPremium Figures -- like <a href="http://www.sideshowtoy.com/listing.php?cat=Star%20Wars&amp;type=Premium%20Format%20Figure&amp;utm_source=2ndnav-starwars-pf&amp;utm_campaign=2ndnav-starwars">these <em>Star Wars </em>ones</a> -- are prized by collectors, stand more than 15" tall in most cases and usually sell in the $300-400 range. If the same holds true for Sony's property, that's a lot of money -- but also a whole lot of Kratos.<br /> <br /> Sideshow is also working on <em>God of War </em>dioramas -- sculpted multi-character scenes, such as <a href="http://www.sideshowtoy.com/?page_id=4489&amp;sku=22231&amp;utm_source=listing-22231&amp;utm_campaign=listing&amp;utm_source=online">this upcoming offering</a> based on <em>The Clone Wars</em>. They're typically priced in line with the Premium Figures. Specific details on these have not been announced, nor has a time frame within which to expect any of Sideshow's <em>God of War </em>items. Given that <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/god-of-war-3">God of War III</a> </em>hits next March, we can only imagine that Sideshow would want to ride the massive anticipation for the title and time its lineup accordingly.<br /> <br /> [Via <a href="http://shogungamer.com/news/sony-and-sideshow-collectibles-team-god-war">Shogun Gamer</a>]</div>

Can you put a price on cuteness? Collectibles retailer Entertainment Earth certainly has -- for the upcoming <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/littlebigplanet"><em>LittleBigPlanet</em></a> Sackboy figures from Mezco Toyz. Turns out it's $34.99 for three doses of the cute stuff.<br /><br />The set, listed as "Wave 1" (as in "more on the way!"), is slightly different from what Sony first <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/02/09/sackboy-action-figures-coming-to-stores-this-spring/">gave us a glimpse of</a> in February. The figures are still 4" tall with various accessories (each comes standard with a Pop-it Lasso) but the roaster has changed. It now includes plain ol' Sackboy, the pigtailed Sackgirl, "Sky," and the afro-sporting "Marvin." (Sky's spot was taken by a Chinese New Year Dragon Sackboy in the original lineup.)<br /><br />It looks as if the release of the line has been pushed back as well. Sony originally indicated a spring arrival, while Entertainment Earth -- which is usually reliable regarding ship dates -- lists them for September. We'll be happy just to get them <em>at all</em>. We'd be happier yet if they were somehow made from recycled plastic ... sacks.<br /><br />[Via <a href="http://www.evilavatar.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1740266#post1740266">Evil Avatar</a>]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/04/16/first-wave-of-sackboy-figures-priced-and-pictured/">First wave of Sackboy figures priced and pictured</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 16 Apr 2009 18:45:00 EST. <div align="left">DC Comics toy line, DC Direct, is adding a familiar (but non-DC) property its upcoming action figure lineup: <em>Ratchet &amp; Clank</em>. Consummate comics blog <a href="http://www.newsarama.com/php/multimedia/album.php?aid=26747">Newsarama</a> managed to snag a first glimpse of the line, which DC unveiled at today's <a href="http://www.comicspro.org/meet09.html">ComicsPRO 2009 industry event</a>.<br /><br />Prototypes of three series headliners -- Ratchet, Doctor Nefarious and Captain Quark -- have been shown thus far. What? Oh yes, Clank is a headliner, too. He's also one of three sidekick figures which we, er, <em>figure </em>will come packaged with their respective partners. DC Direct hasn't priced or dated the line as of yet, but you can see a <a href="http://www.newsarama.com/php/multimedia/album_view.php?gid=914&amp;page=1">high-res photo</a> of its first (and possibly only) wave at the source link.<br /></div>

It's <em>so </em>last year. Its creator (and eBayer) built the 5 and 1/4" tall marvel out of a McFarlane Toys Master Chief figure, an Actionclix Warthog and an actual Transformers toy (Hound, in case you're wondering).<br /><br />Want this one-of-a-kind <em>Halo </em>artifact on your bookshelf? <div align="left">Your eyes are only <em>slightly </em>deceiving you. What you're looking at sadly isn't some sort of amazing, limited edition retail release of the upcoming <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/mega-man-9"><em>Mega Man 9</em></a> for WiiWare, PSN, and XBLA; it's actually amazing NES-era replica packaging for the game's press kit, right down to an NES cartridge turned CD case.<br /><br />Both the box and cartridge sport the wonderful, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/07/23/capcom-to-sell-intentionally-awful-mega-man-9-shirts/">intentionally awful <em>MM9</em> art</a> first seen on Capcom staff T-Shirts at this year's E3. These asset discs are intended for members of the press, but, obviously realizing that it had created something destined to be the object of <em>unbridled fanboy lust</em>, Capcom is considering releasing 200 or so to the public via its <a href="http://shop.capcom.com/store/capcomus/DisplayStoreHomePage">online store</a>, along with a voucher for the game download. <br /><br />[<strong>Update: </strong>Thanks to Capcom's Seth Killian for sending along <em>much </em>nicer shots of the packaging - check out the shrink wrap and oodles of goofy text! - which you can view by clicking on the gallery links below.]<br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/mega-man-9-press-kit/">Mega Man 9 Press Kit</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/mega-man-9-press-kit/#1042515"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2008/09/mm9.presskit.1024_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/mega-man-9-press-kit/#1042516"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2008/09/mm9.presskit.back.1024_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div></div>

If it were up to us (and not roommates, money, and social acceptance), everything we own would probably relate to the awesome alienoids in some way. Magnets are harmless enough, though, and we really want a pack of these to play around with.<br /><br />Since we're almost gnawing off our own fingers in anticipation for <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/space-invaders-extreme/">Space Invaders Extreme</a></em> to mosey on over <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/04/02/so-the-paddle-isnt-coming-to-north-america-now/">to North America</a>, we could see ourselves sitting in front of the fridge until the early hours of the A.M., moving the magnets around to simulate playing the game. <br /><br />Fortunately for us and our dignity, we haven't found a place to import these magnets from yet, although they'll be available in Japan by April 22nd.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/04/09/space-invaders-invade-your-fridge/">Space Invaders invade your fridge</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 09 Apr 2008 20:00:00 EST. After seeing the above auction on eBay (tip: sit down before checking the price), we couldn't help but wonder about what our readers have tucked away. Yeah, we're talking collectibles, especially the rare variety. Do you have anything special, either for sentimental or monetary value? These aren't games on disc. They're old school Tiger-style LCD games designed with collectable flair. Sweet! Here's what might show up in your bowl if you're lucky:<br />
<ul>
    <li><em>Spaceship Blaster - Eliminate the enemy spaceships before they reach you </em></li>
    <li><em>Motorcycle Madness - Avoid or eliminate oncoming traffic to move up a level and win </em></li>
