The game was first announced by developer Level-5 one year ago at its <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/10/14/ghost-watch-unveiled-at-level-5-vision-event/">Vision event</a>.<br /><br />Of course, until Level-5 confirms that the game even exists anymore, we're putting it in our box of rumors. We do know that Level-5's <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/liberation-maiden"><em>Liberation Maiden</em></a> will be heading to the North American 3DS eShop <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/10/13/liberation-maiden-liberates-north-american-3dses-oct-25/">October 25</a>, however. We've embedded the original announcement trailer for <em>Ghost Watch</em> for your amusement above.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/10/14/report-level-5s-other-new-3ds-jam-is-ghost-watch/">Report: Level-5's other new 3DS jam is Ghost Watch</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Sun, 14 Oct 2012 22:30:00 EST. <strong>Update: </strong>We here at Joystiq are not perfect, and sometimes we're fooled. Sad to say, this has been one of those times, as some of the details you see around the net regarding <em>Pokemon Heart Gold </em>and <em>Soul Silver</em> are false. Our good friend <a href="http://www.serebii.net/index2.shtml">Serebii</a> pointed this out to us, and we have removed the false information from this post. We apologize for the error, and are baking you a fresh batch of cookies right now to make up for it.<br /><br />When Nintendo announced <em>Pok&eacute;mon Gold Heart </em>and <em>Soul Silver</em> <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/05/07/nintendo-chooses-to-announce-pokemon-gold-and-silver-remakes/">remakes</a>, it was only a few days after that we <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/05/10/first-footage-of-pokemon-heart-gold-and-soul-silver-revealed/">caught a glimpse</a> of some gameplay. Of course, the gameplay video didn't reveal anything on the game other than the ability to <em>walk around</em>, but we know trainers are still getting pumped for the remakes. Well, if you live in North America, prepare to be <em>pumped out of your mind</em>.<br /><br />Nintendo is planning to bring both <em>Pokemon Heart Gold </em>and <em>Soul Silver </em>your way, as some US trademarks Nintendo filed (courtesy of <a href="http://www.siliconera.com/2009/05/12/nintendo-readying-pokmon-heart-gold-and-soul-silver-for-north-america/">Siliconera</a>) show. Sure, you probably had little doubt in your mind, considering how much<em> Nintendo loves money</em>, but we just thought you would like to know. Both <em>Pokemon Heart Gold</em> and <em>Pokemon Soul Silver</em> are listed, so turn your cap backwards and get ready to catch 'em all ... at an unconfirmed later date.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/05/12/corocoro-reveals-pokemon-heart-gold-and-soul-silver-deets-ninte/">Nintendo files US trademarks for Pokemon Heart Gold and Soul Silver [update]</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 12 May 2009 15:40:00 EST. Aside from knowing that <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/04/17/rumor-pokemans-let-nintendo-sell-you-them-again/">the game exists</a>, as well as its <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/05/18/pokemon-platinum-dated-for-release-in-japan/">Japanese release date</a>, there's just not much we have to go on. Until now, that is.<br /><br />Some scans of the latest issue (via <a href="http://www.thetanooki.com/2008/06/10/new-pokemon-platinum-details-in-corocoro/">The Tanooki</a>) have released online, giving us a clearer picture of what's going down in this latest title. For one, the title will star two completely new trainers, as well as re-clothe Lucas and Dawn. There will also be a new area of the map unlocked, which is being labeled as "Torn World" right now.<br /><br />Also of note, a certain <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/pokemon">Pok&eacute;mon</a></em> movie monster available to folks in Japan will be transferable to <em>Platinum</em>, also allowing you to capture Regirock, Regice, and Registeel in-game. To check out the rest of the scans, <a href="http://www.thetanooki.com/2008/06/10/new-pokemon-platinum-details-in-corocoro/">head on over</a>.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/06/11/corocoro-reveals-more-on-upcoming-pokemon-platinum/">CoroCoro reveals more on upcoming Pokemon Platinum</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 11 Jun 2008 16:00:00 EST.
