Readers pick best webcomic: The Unhorse

By a rather large margin, Penny Arcade's "The Unhorse" took the top spot in this week's webcomic wrapup. And we're sure all those voters were rooting for the horse, right? Right?

Second and third places go to Fanboys and Digital Unrest, respectively. Thanks to everyone who voted, and be sure to let us know of any game-related webcomics you stumble upon this week!

Readers pick most Super Effective webcomic

Joystiq readers love Scott Ramsoomair. Like, love love. Anything the VG Cats artist touches pretty much shoots to the top of the webcomic wrapup by default. So his spinoff strip, Super Effective, unsurprisingly took very top honors this week.

Second and third place go to 2P Start and Digital Unrest, respectively. Thanks to everyone who voted, and be sure to let us know of any game-related webcomics you stumble upon this week!

Readers pick best webcomic: Make it double

That initial glitch in the webcomic wrapup polling didn't affect the final vote. VG Cats' Poké-strip (as in comic strip and not ... eww) was given the rather dubious award for week's best game-related webcomic with quadruple (make it quadruple!) the vote of second place.

Runners up include Dueling Analogs and Digital Unrest, respectively. Thanks to everyone who voted, and be sure to let us know of any game-related webcomics you stumble upon this week!

Readers pick best webcomic: Professor Layton and the Perpetual Torment

When we tried to write articles this morning, we were given a new prompt instead of the usual password field: "I haff tvelve metchsteek ..." Before we finished reading, we threw our laptops into the ocean and cursed the heavens above. Kudos to Penny Arcade, winner of this week's webcomic wrapup, for illustrating our anger.

Second and third place to go Dueling Analogs and Digital Unrest, respectively. Thanks to everyone who voted, and be sure to let us know of any game-related webcomics you stumble upon this week! (Preferably in the comments below, since our inbox will be flooded during the GDC shenanigans.)

Readers pick best webcomic: Synesthesia, revisited

Sure, many argued that this wasn't the duo's strongest game-related comic of the week (most cited Rigorous Scholarship as the better choice), but Penny Arcade nonetheless took top honors in this week's webcomic wrapup for their Rez-inspired strip.

Second places goes to Digital Unrest and third to Ctrl+Alt+Del. Thanks for your feedback on the new polling system, which is here to stay although adjustments will be happening (such as including the strip name in the choices to make an easier connection). Thanks to everyone who voted, and be sure to let us know of any game-related webcomics you stumble upon this week!

Readers pick best webcomic: You compete me

Retro gaming has never been so romantic. Never, we say! The folks at 2P Start have managed to take a simple idea and run with it elegantly. We're happy to note they've been voted the best game-related webcomic of the week.

Second place goes to to Digital Unrest's "Trends" while Hijinks Ensue comes in at third. Thanks to everyone who voted, and be sure to let us know of any game-related webcomics you stumble upon this week!

Readers pick best webcomic: And now you know ...

What's the masked mushroom looking at? You're going to have to peruse Dueling Analogs, this week's webcomic wrapup winner, to find out.

Second and third place were quite close, with Digital Unrest (a guest strip from RPG-TV) barely toppling VG Cats. Thanks to everyone who voted and be sure to let us know of any game-related webcomics you stumble upon this week!
