Half demo and half conciliatory gesture, this exclusive app was <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/02/19/rayman-legends-receiving-wii-u-bonus-mode-in-april/">promised</a> after Ubisoft delayed the Wii U version to prepare a multiplatform release. The full game is due <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/04/25/rayman-legends-reaches-north-america-august-27-europe-august-30/">September 3</a>.<br /><br />On 3DS, the collection of NES <em>Mega Man</em> games grows with <em>Mega Man 4</em>. And Color Commando launches on DSiWare, a puzzle-platformer about placing blobs of paint around a level to neutralize same-color monsters.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/04/25/new-nintendo-eshop-releases-rayman-legends-challenges-mega-man/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>New Nintendo eShop releases: Rayman Legends Challenges, Mega Man 4</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/04/25/new-nintendo-eshop-releases-rayman-legends-challenges-mega-man/">New Nintendo eShop releases: Rayman Legends Challenges, Mega Man 4</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 25 Apr 2013 10:00:00 EST. On top of that, Level-5's <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/04/15/level-5s-guild01-eshop-games-go-on-sale-this-week/">Guild series sale</a> begins today, with all three of its eShop games to date discounted. It's a good chance to check out that bizarre collection before it <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/04/17/three-more-level-5-collaborations-coming-to-eshop/">doubles in size</a>. Oh ... and <a href="http://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/fxg4wpBOEjRuElW9FZbTkVh7B_FDI7kb"><em>Dress to Play: Cute Witches!</em></a> is on sale, in an unrelated offer.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/04/18/new-nintendo-eshop-releases-level-5-sale-tetris-axis/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>New Nintendo eShop releases: Level-5 sale, Tetris Axis</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/04/18/new-nintendo-eshop-releases-level-5-sale-tetris-axis/">New Nintendo eShop releases: Level-5 sale, Tetris Axis</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 18 Apr 2013 10:00:00 EST. If you have a Wii U, of course you should pick that up! Also coming to Wii U soon is Injustice, which will be downloadable from the eShop on April 16, concurrent with its release on other platforms.<br /><br />Also out on April 16: <a href="http://joystiq.com/game/shin-megami-tensei-devil-summoner-soul-hackers"><em>Shin Megami Tensei Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers</em></a> on 3DS. It'll be out digitally and in stores as well. Today, you'll be able to download the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/02/14/new-mario-and-donkey-kong-dillon-and-more-headed-to-3ds-eshop/"><em>Dillon's Rolling Western</em> sequel</a>.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/04/11/new-nintendo-eshop-releases-dillons-rolling-western-kirbys-a/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>New Nintendo eShop releases: Dillon's Rolling Western, Kirby's Adventure</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/04/11/new-nintendo-eshop-releases-dillons-rolling-western-kirbys-a/">New Nintendo eShop releases: Dillon's Rolling Western, Kirby's Adventure</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 11 Apr 2013 11:30:00 EST. The Wii version includes the bonus "ROM City Rampage," a <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/02/27/how-to-turn-retro-city-rampage-into-a-working-8-bit-game/">genuine 8-bit remake</a> of the game!<br /><br />On 3DS, there's a demo of <em>Castlevania: Lords of Shadow - Mirror of Fate</em>, which hopefully lasts longer than the title. And <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/09/17/portabliss-fractured-soul-3ds-eshop/"><em>Fractured Soul</em></a> is <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/02/14/3ds-eshop-games-going-on-sale-including-bit-trip-saga-today/">on sale</a> for $7.99 for the next week!<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/02/28/new-nintendo-eshop-releases-retro-city-rampage-runner2/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>New Nintendo eShop releases: Retro City Rampage, Runner2</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/02/28/new-nintendo-eshop-releases-retro-city-rampage-runner2/">New Nintendo eShop releases: Retro City Rampage, Runner2</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 28 Feb 2013 14:00:00 EST. There are even new downloadable Mario decoration sets for <em>Sparkle Snapshots 3D</em>, if you're feeling like a bit of photo festooning. And don't forget <em>Fire Emblem: Awakening,</em> coming Feb. 4.<br /><br />Wii U has relatively few offerings this week, but they're interesting: <a href="http://joystiq.com/game/puddle"><em>Puddle</em></a> and a demo of <a href="http://joystiq.com/game/the-cave"><em>The Cave</em></a>.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/01/31/new-nintendo-eshop-releases-puddle-ikachan/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>New Nintendo eShop releases: Puddle, Ikachan</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/01/31/new-nintendo-eshop-releases-puddle-ikachan/">New Nintendo eShop releases: Puddle, Ikachan</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 31 Jan 2013 13:30:00 EST. Originally released as a retail game in Japan, XSEED's localized version is exclusively downloadable. The brawler/RPG <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/10/17/code-of-princess-review/"><em>Code of Princess</em></a> is also downloadable today, but not exclusively: it was released as a 3DS cart back in October.<br /><br />Mobile and PC platformer <a href="http://www.gunmanclive.com/"><em>Gunman Clive</em></a> is also on 3DS today, with its unusual sketches-on-yellowed paper look. There are still some gems to be found however, most notably the Game Boy Color version of <em>Mario Golf</em> for the 3DS Virtual Console. We'd forgotten this was happening in the interim between the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/12/19/prince-of-persia-for-wii-and-3ds-rayman-for-3ds-rated/">December ESRB rating</a> and today, so this is, like every Wii Virtual Console release, a pleasant and unexpected surprise.<br /><br />Speaking of surprises, DSiWare's <em>Crazy Hunter</em> is about a crocodile building a goat tower to reach the sky, in order to capture hens who lay golden eggs. Other content of note includes <em>Petit Computer</em>, a tool to create BASIC games and other programs right on the DS, and share them via QR codes.<br /><br />This week's eShop sale - yes, that's still going on! - is on the Game Boy release of <em>Mario's Picross</em>. The "8-Bit Summer" brings two 3DS Game Boy games, one you likely know and one you probably don't. Each game will get eShop release updates, such as save states (Ambassadors can update their existing games). Last weekend, Nintendo discounted <em>Super Mario Land</em> temporarily; this weekend's sale on <a href="http://joystiq.com/game/vvvvvv"><em>VVVVVV</em></a> proves that these limited-time discounts are an actual <em>thing</em>. For a digital Nintendo platform, two sales is a giant leap forward.<br /><br />That discount is joined by a demo for Rhythm Thief, which appears to actually be coming out, and interesting new eShop games <a href="http://joystiq.com/game/bomb-monkey"><em>Bomb Monkey</em></a> and <a href="http://joystiq.com/game/marvel-pinball-3d"><em>Marvel Pinball 3D</em></a>. <br /><br />It's not so great for the Wii this week, with absolutely no releases of any kind on the Wii Shop, but it can't <em>all</em> be good news.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/06/28/nintendoware-weekly-bomb-monkey-marvel-pinball-vvvvvv-sale/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>NintendoWare Weekly: Bomb Monkey, Marvel Pinball, VVVVVV sale</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/06/28/nintendoware-weekly-bomb-monkey-marvel-pinball-vvvvvv-sale/">NintendoWare Weekly: Bomb Monkey, Marvel Pinball, VVVVVV sale</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 28 Jun 2012 15:00:00 EST. Today's 3DS releases include the popular <em>Order Up!!</em>, and a series of "Slitherlink" math puzzles.<br /><br />Normally, we don't give too much attention to the kids' stuff on DSiWare, but we feel compelled to share this. There is a game called <a href="http://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/bnmAsJR4Ui4i1kHXo3q0VxA-rP9ppppm"><em>Lola's Fruit Shop Sudoku</em></a>, and it is a sudoku game designed for four-year-olds. You line up pictures of fruit instead of numbers. This is incredible.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/06/21/nintendoware-weekly-double-dragon-2-order-up/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>NintendoWare Weekly: Double Dragon 2, Order Up</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/06/21/nintendoware-weekly-double-dragon-2-order-up/">NintendoWare Weekly: Double Dragon 2, Order Up</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 21 Jun 2012 12:00:00 EST. Completing registration surveys for the Nintendo DSi or Nintendo DSi XL will yield only 100 coins, as opposed to the previously established 160 coins.<br /><br />Software rewards are also getting a shake-up, though only select titles will see a decrease. Completing registration surveys for some <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/3d-classics">3D Classics</a> and other downloadable titles will grant fewer coins; however, a lot of first-party 3DS games like <em>Mario Kart 7</em> and some third-party ones, such as <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/resident-evil-revelations">Resident Evil Revelations</a>, </em>are seeing increases. Wii and DS/DSi games are sadly seeing a reduction pretty much across the board. Better put in your <em>Animal Crossing: City Folk</em> code before time runs out!<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/06/04/club-nintendo-coin-rewards-changing-on-july-1/">Club Nintendo coin rewards changing on July 1</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 04 Jun 2012 01:30:00 EST. And this Friday, you can get a <em>Madagascar 3 </em>trailer on Nintendo Video, to bring Chris Rock's voice with you everywhere. <br /><br />And on Wii this week: nothing.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/05/24/nintendoware-weekly-mighty-switch-force-update-game-and-watch-ga/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>NintendoWare Weekly: Mighty Switch Force update, Game &amp; Watch Gallery 2</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/05/24/nintendoware-weekly-mighty-switch-force-update-game-and-watch-ga/">NintendoWare Weekly: Mighty Switch Force update, Game &amp; Watch Gallery 2</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 24 May 2012 11:30:00 EST. At least one version of each game in the series is available.<br /><br />In non-interactive news, Dinosaur Office returns to Nintendo Video tomorrow.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/05/10/nintendoware-weekly-monster-world-iv/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>NintendoWare Weekly: Monster World IV</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/05/10/nintendoware-weekly-monster-world-iv/">NintendoWare Weekly: Monster World IV</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 10 May 2012 15:00:00 EST. "The good thing is that if you already bought the DSiWare version on your 3DS and ever delete it, you'll still be able to download it. The update won't stop you from playing the prior version of the game."<br /><br />A version of <em>Cave Story+</em> launched on Steam last year, but the 3DS version will be different even from that iteration, Rodriguez said. The eShop version can't handle the Steam HD art or new music, but the sprites will be rendered in 3D, set to the beat of the original soundtrack.<br /><br />Rodriguez teased a Steam update for <em>Cave Story+</em> as well, saying, "You already know about the <em>Cave Story+</em> Steam updates we have planned? How do online leaderboards for the challenges sound?" Sounds great, Rodriguez. Just great.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/04/30/cave-story-hits-the-3ds-eshop-soon-separate-from-cave-story-3d/">Cave Story+ hits the 3DS eShop soon, separate from Cave Story 3D</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 30 Apr 2012 19:00:00 EST. And not just any new Virtual Console game, <em>Super Street Fighter II</em> ... with online play. Even after being released in Japan last November, and being <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/11/12/super-street-fighter-ii-coming-to-virtual-console-with-online-mu/">announced</a> locally by Capcom the same month, it's still surprising to see extra functionality. <br /><br />It's still surprising to see a Wii Virtual Console game.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/04/26/nintendoware-weekly-an-actual-virtual-console-game/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>NintendoWare Weekly: An actual Virtual Console game</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/04/26/nintendoware-weekly-an-actual-virtual-console-game/">NintendoWare Weekly: An actual Virtual Console game</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 26 Apr 2012 16:00:00 EST.
