We here at Wii Fanboy just wanted to take the time to wish those of you celebrating the holiday a happy one. For the rest of you, enjoy the time off and get some game time in. Maybe go see a movie? We heard that Grindhouse picture is supposed to be swell ...

So, what will you be doing today? Will you, like the fine folks over at The Tanooki, be crafting some Yoshi egg cookies of your own? Have your own holiday culinary concoction planned?

From all of us here at Wii Fanboy, have a safe and happy holiday. After an insightful episode of South Park that explained the relationship between bunnies, eggs, and the resurrection of Jesus Christ, we decided to do some of our own research into the history of the seemingly bizarre Easter rituals. After becoming bored with that, we thought about easter eggs in the virtual sense -- i.e. those hidden treats found on CDs, DVDs and video games.

Celebrate Easter by telling us your favorite virtual easter eggs; while you're thinking, check out our picks for the week's best game-related webcomics. That intensely long cycle, besides making a game epic and wonderful and amazing, usually gives rise to an extreme attention to detail. Some savvy forum-goers have compiled a list of little easter eggs for your enjoyment, which can be found after the jump.

How many of these did you find, or even notice? Do you feel as though these little details even make a difference in the overall gaming experience? We ourselves find that we're occasionally drawn back to the world of Hyrule for a few minutes, just to feel that epic sense of adventure ... or maybe it was just those bomb arrow fireworks.
Twilight Easter Eggs originally appeared on Joystiq on Thu, 25 Jan 2007 16:05:00 EST. But, the show floor is too busy: there's always somewhere to be, somewhere to go. That's why a good breakfast is so important when I get up. If you're a hardcore PSP fan like me, you know that breakfast doesn't feel right if it doesn't have a chunk of PSP in it. Thankfully, this Japanese auction at Yahoo for a PSP omelette should hit the spot. At around $100 including shipping, it seems like a pretty good deal!

Yum!

[Via Kotaku]
Wake up right with the PSP omlette originally appeared on Joystiq on Sat, 14 Oct 2006 09:30:00 EST.
