The publisher just started a new label, World Game Parade, to release localized Japanese versions of some WiiWare games originally developed and published outside of Japan.

In March, World Game Parade will release Zombie in Wonderland (called Zombie Panic in Wonderland outside of Japan) and Bit Man!! (Bplus's Bit Boy!!). Katamuki Spirits (Equilibrio) and Rakugaki Hero (Max & the Magic Marker) will follow in April. WiiWare sales figures aren't normally released, so we may have to wait until Marvelous's next earnings report to determine the effectiveness of the plan. We can confirm right now that the logo is adorable.
How about a free demo that happens to be exactly as long as the full game? That's essentially what developer DK Games is offering in one hell of a goodwill gesture. The company is offering a freely downloadable PC version of its side-scrolling maze game, in which players rotate the environment to move a ball to an exit, Cameltry-style.

The PC version doesn't support the Wiimote or the Balance Board, and it doesn't include multiplayer, but it does have its own level editor. And we think we mentioned that, you know, it doesn't cost anything.

[Via DIYGamer]
WiiWare's Equilibrio is Free-quilibrio on PC originally appeared on Joystiq on Thu, 15 Oct 2009 14:30:00 EST. Anyway, that doesn't matter. What matters is Bubble Bobble Plus!

Taito's fantastic-looking Bubble Bobble sequel/remake arrives in the West today, and we are super jealous. Enjoy your four-player Bubble Bobble, PALs. We're just going to be over here in North America, playing NES Bubble Bobble like total chumps.
